Can I Get Artificial Toe Implant After Injury?
Hello! My name is Sergey, and I am a close acquaintance of the patient who has sent you this inquiry regarding consultation for implantation. The patient is 37 years old and sustained an injury 6 years ago due to the fall of a heavy object. Several surgeries were performed, and the amputation of the left big toe was carried out. In this regard, we would like to inquire if you have a solution for this issue. We are interested in proceeding with the procedure of implanting an artificial toe with load-bearing functionality. Best regards!

One balance and mobility issue that might arise with a patient losing their toe is that they would have an imbalance. We know the pain and suffering that occurs after such an injury, and the patients are aware of this too. For the patients, your friend, and people such as him, artificial toe prosthetics have been developed which could give back some of the lost functions. A fake toe is sure to offer load-bearing support and improve the overall quality of life. We suggest a consultation with some orthopedic prosthesis field experts so that they can discuss with you which alternative is the right one for your friend. By such a means of professional advice, the best solutions will be gained.

I am a 20 year old female I am having shoulder and chest pain form 2 months..
Female | 20
Pain in these muscles can sometimes be caused by muscle overstrain, wrong posture, or even emotional stress. Keep your posture in check, make time for rest from activities that require repetitive motions, and try to learn relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or yoga. If the pain persists or becomes even more excruciating, you should consult with an orthopedist to get a more thorough examination and advice.

Can you please help me with this how to use ketoprofen gh
Female | 26
Ketoprofen GH is a medicine that helps with pain and swelling. It works by reducing chemicals in your body that cause pain and inflammation. If you are experiencing pain, you can take Ketoprofen GH as recommended by a doctor. Be aware that digestive system disorders and vertigo can be serious side effects. Follow the instructions thoroughly and consult an orthopedist if anything is unclear.

Hi I'm 52 yrs old female with torn ACL ligament, worn cartilage and torn meniscus I'm confused wether to go for surgical reconstruction or to go with life style modifications. But without medicines the pain gets aggressive.
Female | 53
Disrupted ALC, injured cartilage, and torn menisci are often associated with more pain while moving. After all, surgical reconstruction helps in restoring normal function and thus relieving the pain, if all other measures remain unsuccessful. Lifestyle transformation including physical therapy and diet management also will help with symptom relief. A consultation with an orthopedist, who will give you options based on your problem, can be another approach. You should also consult an orthopedist.

Recently I started doing yoga again, and ive immediately been reminded why i stopped before. Basically some stretches feel fine, like once in the sides of my torso. But some other stretches i feel nothing at all, like if i put my soles together i can keep my knees fully on the floor and lie all the way forward and still feel absolutely no stretch, this is what most stretches feel like. But then some other stretches hurt WAYY to much, most importantly my hamstrings, i cannot lean even a bit forward with my legs straight and it already hurts like heck. I have no improvement in my hamstrings when doing more "gentle" yoga stretches, but then when i tried pushing myself a bit more in stretching my hamstrings, it would start hurting in my knees so much when i walked, almost like a pop or click with every step. Recently i considered the possibility of possibly being hypermobile, i can put my pinky fingers 90 degrees up, i can reach my wrists with my thumbs and i can do that thing where i lock my hands together behind my back and can put them over my head without letting go. I also get a strange uncomfortableness/awareness in my joints sometimes, not even a pain just uncomfortable. So basically my question is, do you think im hypermobile? and if so how (if possible) can i still do stretches/yoga without either feeling nothing or feeling intense pains? And is there any way i can get rid of the uncomfortableness in my joints?
Female | 19
It sounds like you may be hypermobile, which means your joints can move more than usual. You might have less stretch during yoga or feel intense pain in some stretches as symptoms. Instead of pushing too hard when stretching, focus on gentle moves for flexibility because this can help protect your joints. Also, make sure not to do any position that causes discomfort or hurts.

Your ankle discomfort is unfortunate. Sprains, strains, or arthritis might cause ankle pain. Here's R.I.C.E to ease it: rest, apply ice, compress with a bandage, and elevate your leg. Over-the-counter pain relievers may also help. If the pain persists, don't hesitate to consult an orthopedist.

Hi, I'm a 22 year old male with back pain, I've been to doctors loads of times for the past 7-8 months but all they been telling me is to take pain killers and exercise, ive had a MRI scan which showed L5-S1 left subarticular disc protrusion and L4-5 facet joint arthropathies is that right for them to keep telling me to exercise?
Male | 22
The MRI scan reveals a disc disorder, along with an ache from the facet joint. Workouts can make your muscles healthier and render them more flexible, which is very helpful when managing the pain. You really must stick to the exercise plan of the physiotherapist without fail to reduce the damage caused. Painkillers are one way of pain relief, but the long-term solution comes from exercise, and maybe a few more such treatments like physical therapy depending on the severity of the problem.

I am 21 years old and currently have been going through my leg foot and ankle pain i am diagnosed from typhoid almost every year in summers the typhoid has reduced but not the pain i usually have low blood pressure the pain stays for all they day and night if i change my position during night
Female | 21
It seems like you have felt a lot of pain in your leg, foot, and ankle. Your past typhoid sickness and low blood pressure could be why you still hurt. Sometimes, typhoid can make joints ache. It is very important to drink lots of water and rest. Using cold packs and keeping your leg up high can help the pain go away. If the pain does not stop, you should see an orthopedist to find out what is wrong.

Female | 40
Your left foot is causing problems. There's swelling, pain, and redness. Fluid build up too. An infection could be the issue. Or an injury perhaps. Maybe even gout. The inflammation symptoms are worrying. You need help quickly. Antibiotics might help if infected. Pain medication would ease discomfort. Draining fluid may be needed too.

I have bad pain in both shoulders while sleeping, can I take stem cell treatment
Male | 36
You seem to have a Frozen Shoulder, a condition when the shoulder joint tissue becomes tight, causing pain. Stem cell treatment research is ongoing, making it an uncommon solution currently. The advisable step is to consult an orthopedist for appropriate exercises, physical therapy, or medications. These can alleviate pain and enhance shoulder mobility.

Perineural cyst is painfull?
Female | 33
A perineural cyst can hurt sometimes. These fluid-filled sacs grow near lower back nerves. They cause back pain, leg pain, numbness. The exact reason is unclear, but old injuries or genes may cause them. Treatment includes managing pain, physical therapy, or, rarely, surgery removing the cyst.

I started having muscle pain/ache in my outer right hip area a day after I changed my everyday footwear a week ago. Pain is dull and bearable but irritating. It usually starts when walking and tends to go away slowly when sitting in a relaxed sitting position. Sometimes it also starts when sleeping. I'm not taking any medication of any kind. I'm underweight due to my lifestyle and eating habits.
Male | 24
It seems that you have muscle pain on the outside right hip region. This pain could have been caused by changing shoes. Muscles can ache if they are tense or strained. In addition, if you are too thin, your muscles may easily get tired. Put on supportive footwear, stretch gently and take a good diet so that your muscles can heal. Also, make sure to rest and avoid activities that worsen the ache.

I am 25 years old lady. I had an injury to knee during 23 rd dec 2024.Doctor tell me that I have fracture in knee. They don't explain how severe that. Please explain
Female | 25
You seem to have a knee fracture, which is a condition that can cause pain, swelling, and movement difficulty in the affected joint. Such injuries are most frequently seen in the patients who fell or were in accidents. The severity of the condition varies with the type and place of the fracture. The typical treatment is to lie down, apply ice, and use a compression bandage, and also, have your doctor’s orders closely followed. Sometimes conservative management with a splint or even surgery is indicated. Make sure to have a check-up with your orthopedist, which allows you to talk about your situation and receive medical treatment.

Typical signs are swelling, stiffness, or pain during any movement. To get rid of this, apply ice, put the leg up, and take over-the-counter painkillers if needed. It is essential to include strengthening exercises and weight management for health benefits. But, if the symptoms persist or become worse, you should consult an orthopedist for a comprehensive evaluation and individualized advice.

I fractured my humorous up next to my shoulder and now my wrist and hand are swollen and badly bruised. My concern to s blood poisoning
Male | 63
You might be seeking information on sepsis, which is also known as blood poisoning. The issue of swelling and contusions is not only at the site of the fracture but may also occur in the forearm and hand. Although it may be alarming, it's usually not a symptom of blood poisoning. In case your health condition is deteriorating and you're fighting such symptoms as fever, tachycardia, and disorientation, you should not waste time seeking a medical consultation. Please also remember to keep your arm above the level of your heart and put the ice on the place to keep the swelling down.
