Can TENS electrodes address rectal hyposensitivity after clozapine use?
Can TENS electrodes placed over s3-s4 sacral nerves help correct rectal hyposensitivity? I can only sense type 5 stools and above. Unable to sense type 4 stools and smaller. I lost sensation due to excessive straining from constipation caused by clozapine. I came off it and BM are normal.

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) may offer relief by enhancing nerve activity in the sacral region, potentially improving sensation and function. Rectal hyporesponsiveness can stem from factors like prolonged straining or medication side effects. While you’re experiencing normal bowel movements now, it’s essential to discuss your sensation concerns with a gastroenterologist. They can evaluate your situation comprehensively and recommend suitable therapies, including pelvic floor exercises or specific nerve stimulation techniques.

You may feel something unusual in your bottom area. That's called rectal fullness. It happens when gas or stool builds up in your intestine. Your body thinks something is there, but it's not. Eat lots of fiber and drink water to help. If it doesn't go away or gets worse, see a gastroenterologist.

Stomach pain every night
Female | 20
Experiencing tummy aches each evening is difficult. Some typical causes include eating too close to bedtime, particular foods upsetting your stomach, or stress. Keeping a food log can help identify any troublesome items. Also, try relaxing activities before sleep to de-stress. However, if discomfort persists, consulting a gastroenterologist for guidance is crucial.

According to the information you have given, it appears that you might have symptoms such as too much gas and bowel sounds. These could result from different things including what you eat and drink habitually, problems with digestion or even tension. Make sure you take your time when eating; stay away from food items that make one gassy plus drink enough water. In case this doesn’t help then it would be wise to see a gastroenterologist for further assessment.

Unchanged background of scattered tree-in-bud nodularity seen most prominently in the bilateral lower lobes. Findings are likely due to sequela of low volume aspiration given mildly patulous appearance of the esophagus, concerning for esophageal dysmotility/chronic reflux. Clinical correlation and further evaluation with fluoroscopic guided esophagram may be considered. If patient's symptoms persist or worsen, consider repeat CT chest in 3 to 6 months to further evaluate. No new suspicious pulmonary nodularity or pathologic intrathoracic lymphadenopathy appreciated.
Male | 43
By analyzing the scan results, the doctors found that there are small clusters in the lungs which can be a sign of possible aspiration. This could be because of the problems with the functioning of the esophagus, which may be related to chronic reflux. To be sure, a test called an esophagram could provide more insights. If symptoms continue, another scan in a few months could help track any changes.
