I am currently getting pain in my rectum along with difficulty passing stools. I have gone to the toilet and passed stools successfully over the last 48 hours but my rectum feels tight and unable to pass stool straight away after a bowel movement. Stool feels hard to pass, rectum has a sharp pain on the inside, always have to strain to pass stools, extremely bloated and very uncomfortable all the time, I have no appetite currently and have tried using laxatives, changing my diet and keeping myself hydrated. Nothing has worked so far. What is my next options?

From the symptoms you describe, you may be dealing with hemorrhoids or anal fissures. Consult with a gastroenterologist, who is a specialist in the field of the digestive tract. Till then keep on maintaining a healthy diet, stay hydrated and avoid straining during bowel movements.

You are overwhelmed and things are running out of fuel for you after your morning walk and breakfast. The causes of fever infection can be a variety of things, such as being sick to the stomach, eating poisoned food, or the blood sugar level being high. This may be due to your high sugar levels lately. Ensure that you will be alright drinking water and hydrating yourself and that eating smaller lighter meals is the right idea. If vomiting persists, it is better to contact your doctor for more instructions.

MY sister underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove gall bladder due to stone and found appendix also , was also removed. Now its been 2 months and she is experiencing weight loss and less appetite. when checked blood found SGOT-72.54 AND SGPT 137.47, what is the reason

Female | 27

Your sister's weight loss and reduced appetite after surgery are normal. Her body is adjusting to the change. High SGOT and SGPT blood levels indicate liver inflammation, which is common post-surgery. This also affects appetite. Follow up with her doctor. They may recommend diet changes or medicines to help her recover and regain appetite.

I found one worm in my stool

Female | 22

Discovering a worm in your stool might be due to a parasitic infection. Parasites can enter your body through contaminated food, water, or surfaces. Consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment, maintain good hygiene, and practice food and water safety.
