I m suffering from fissure in anus
Male | 40
You may have a fissure in your anus which could hurt a lot and make you uncomfortable. A fissure is like a tiny cut on the skin around your bottom. It is caused by passing hard stool, running stomach, or diseases like Crohn`s disease. Symptoms may include pain when passing stool and sometimes even bleeding. To alleviate these symptoms, try taking more fiber in your diet, drinking enough water daily, and applying creams to soothe the affected area.

Hi my girlfriend is having periods since the day before yesterday today morning she felt pain in her stomach particularly on the left side also accompanied by swelling we are suspecting it to be stomach infection but aren't sure about it yet
Female | 20
Your girlfriend might be experiencing acute appendicitis. Symptoms of this are sudden stomach pain on the lower right side with swelling. Appendicitis is when the appendix gets inflamed. If you think this is the case, you need to go to the hospital straight away because surgery is usually the only way to get rid of the inflamed appendix and avoid complications.

You have signs of being tired, having loose poop, shaking, and sweating at night. Many things can cause these signs like germs or bad food. It is key to drink lots of water and drinks with salt and minerals. Eat soft foods and rest up. If you feel worse or these signs do not go away, go see a gastroenterologist.

i’m 16yo I’ve had the flu for 5 days now and my dr prescribed me with ibuprofen for my fever and headache but it caused me to develop an ulcer i got sudden stomach cramps like the type where you need to poo so i went to the bathroom my poo was red i did some research and i think it might be GI bleeding i’ve been to the bathroom 5 times since and every time there’s been blood every time i’m worried but my mom won’t take me to the hospital, she says we can go tomorrow
Female | 16
Red poop can be a symptom of bleeding in the digestive tract, which may be caused by the ulcer and ibuprofen. Stomach cramps and frequent visits to the bathroom are also the reasons for this. This requires immediate medical assistance for the diagnosis and treatment. It would be better if you refused to wait until tomorrow.

I have eaten Kirkland multivitamin gummies more than 8 in one day since 3 days I am feeling like symptoms of nausea dizziness stomach upset pain in ribs getting anger easily changing in mood swings . What to do now
Female | 17
Taking too many gummy vitamins can cause issues. Exceeding the suggested dose leads to vitamin overload - nausea, dizziness, stomach upset, rib pain, and mood changes may occur. To recover, stop the gummies and drink lots of water. This flushes excess vitamins out. Eat a balanced diet for natural nutrient intake. If symptoms continue or worsen, consult a doctor.

Eat hard dose medicines without eating food
Female | 45
Strong medicines taken without eating can cause stomach upset. You may experience the following symptoms: feel nauseous, have stomach pain, or even throw up. The reason is that the medicines can be harmful to an empty stomach. One way to solve this problem is to always eat something before taking your medicine. A small snack is enough to get you through this.

From yesterday night hiccups on and off
Male | 74
Hiccups are little jumps in your body when the muscles around your chest and stomach twitch. They can arise from eating too quickly, excitement, and anxiety. Typically, they pass away on their own after a brief period. You may attempt drinking water more slowly or breathing deeply, to calm them down. If they continue for a long time and are a nuisance to you, let someone know to make sure everything is okay.

I am 19 year old male, I have been experiencing diarrhea for 5 days, blood is coming with my stool
Male | 19
It seems that you're having a difficult time with diarrhea and blood in your stool. Diarrhea for 5 days with blood may suggest infections, inflammatory bowel disease, or hemorrhoids. Drink plenty of fluids, and stick to bland foods when eating. Find out the reason for it by seeing a gastroenterologist immediately and take the necessary treatment accordingly.

no, for now, I want to test the toilet because when I go to defecate, I collect dirty things like yellow phlegm. Now I don't know what the problem is and I also have diarrhea
Male | 34
It seems that you have the stomach flu. The yellow phlegm might be a result of the mucus from your stomach coming up while you are straining to pass stool. Also, diarrhea can be caused by a stomach bug. Staying hydrated is what you need to do by drinking plenty of water. Keep eating bland food until your body gets better like rice and toast. Rest and let your body have the time to heal. If symptoms do not resolve, go for medical assistance.

What could be causing my abdominal pain and burning sensation, with a mild enlargement in size of my liver and spleen? I'm concerned about the possibility of a serious condition like colon cancer. Can you provide any guidance or information?
Male | 19
Mild enlargement of the liver and spleen, without any focal lesions, can have various causes and may not necessarily indicate a serious disease like colon cancer. Conditions like fatty liver disease, viral infections, inflammation, etc. can be associated with the swelling of these organs.
A proper diagnosis can only be made by a healthcare professional like a gastroenterologist after considering your complete medical history.

After ingesting a large quantity of alcohol, it is fundamental to introspect about your body. Are you feeling better now? That's good! Most of the time, common symptoms of drinking too much include headache, nausea, and feeling tired. Heavy drinking can lead to damage to the liver and brain. For the sake of the body's recovery, water should be maintained high, healthy foods have to be eaten, and some rest should be taken.
