Can Gastroic and Acidity Cause High Blood Pressure?
Gestroic and acidity can couse of high blood pressure ??
Surgical Gastroenterologist
Answered on 18th Sept '24
You won't find high blood pressure caused by stomach and acidity disorders. However, if you're often in a state of worry because of such a situation, it may have a slight impact on your blood pressure. Experiencing symptoms such as stomach ache, puffy belly, and heartburn can make you feel uncomfortable. You should eat less, avoid spicy foods, and learn to relax through techniques such as deep breathing or yoga, which will help you manage stress.

I face stomach pain like warmth
Female | 22
A stomachache that feels warm can be a symptom of an underlying condition that may arise from food or drink. Spicy things, overdoing it, or issues with stomach acid can trigger that. Besides, other symptoms such as bloating or discomfort may occur. Drinking lots of water and avoiding foods that trigger them are the best strategies to alleviate the pain. If the pain persists or worsen, it is better to go to the gastroenterologist.

I am 19 years old female, and i am suffering with stomach pain ,its not continuous it mainly occurs after eating or drinking i used metronidazole tab yesterday, but no relief is seen ,this pain started from yesterday morning
Female | 19
Stomach ache following a meal or beverage may result from many reasons. It could be from indigestion, gastritis, or even a stomach infection. The drug you took might not have been immediately effective. Consume lots of water and use only soft foods such as toast or rice. If the pain continues or intensifies, seeing a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment is imperative.

Sir I have pain in my stomach but in my empty stomach I get blood through sputum and after that my headaches and I'm not able. To eat any proper food
Female | 22
Coughing blood, headaches, and difficulty eating - these signs suggest a stomach issue. An ulcer or inflammation could be the culprit. Ignoring it risks bigger problems, so see a doctor soon. For now, spicy or acidic foods may worsen symptoms, so choose easy-to-digest meals instead. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.

It appears that you may have gastritis. Gastritis leads to nausea and pain in the stomach. Symptoms may involve feeling sick in your stomach or having discomfort in your belly. This can be brought on by spicy or acidic foods, stress or certain drugs. Try eating less food more often, staying away from things that cause problems, and finding ways of managing stress. You must speak with a gastroenterologist who will be able to give you the right diagnosis as well as the treatment plan needed for your recovery process.

I am 27 Yr old male I m feeling stomach burning from past 15 days
Male | 27
Stomach burning could be due to a couple of reasons. One might think that the burning sensation in the stomach is caused by hot foods or stress from being one of two but acid reflux can also be the reason. There are other symptoms present like bloating or chest pain. To overcome this, take only small meals and cut off spicy or acidic foods. Another thing, do not eat just before going to bed. If it is a serious condition, you could get a gastroenterologist's consultation.

Male | 35
Those stones have chances of causing sudden anguish or infection sometime later. When they begin bothering you again, you may experience upper belly or back pain. Removing your gall bladder through surgery is usually the go-to solution for getting rid of those stones. If you need more medical attention, visit a gastroenterologist.

I am a 17 year old female and i have been experiencing a ticker in the back of my throat for the last few days that is making me have “coughing attacks” and make me feel nauseous. I started getting pains in my chest today aswell and i was wondering what this was
Female | 17
You may have acid reflux. This is when the stomach contents come back up into your throat and cause a burning sensation as well as coughing. It may also make you feel sick to your stomach or give you chest pains. You should avoid eating large meals, such as spicy or fatty foods. Moreover, you shouldn’t lie down immediately after eating. Drinking lots of water helps too. If none of these work, visit a gastroenterologist.

Female | 58
Piles oriented as hemorrhoids can sit uncomfortably. Defining features are potential pain, itching, and bleeding in the area around the bottom. Strains during bowel movements, sitting still long, or lacking fiber in the diet are reasons for it. Alternatives may include a high-rope diet, drinking lots of water, and applying top-rated ointments on the skin. Take care of your diet and go to a gastroenterologist if necessary.

My ALT test result was 347iu but apart from feeling extremely tired, not being able to sleep and constipation. My doctor didn’t seem worried and says he’ll repeat test in a month.
Female | 64
An ALT test checks your liver's enzyme level. A reading of 347iu could mean liver troubles. Extreme fatigue, insomnia, and constipation might signal liver issues. Your doctor wants another test next month to see if levels change. Meanwhile, eat healthy foods, avoid alcohol, and rest well. Follow up with your doctor about your liver health status.

I’m in the Creatine loading phase and my stomach feels bloated and my right side sometime feels irritated
Male | 18
During the creatine loading phase, bloating and stomach discomfort can occur due to increased water retention. If you're feeling irritation on your right side, consult a professional doctor like a gastroenterologist, as creatine supplementation is generally not associated with side specific irritation.

I keep getting lower back pain and had issue with rectal bleeding and when I wipe toilet bowl is full of blood sometimes pink and some times dark red had the rectal bleeding for over a year I have had 2 colonoscopy scans and Yorkshire Clinic and Eccleshill Community Hospital stated I had piles last year but the rectal bleeding is still occurring and I had a bowel bleed about 2:30 am on the 28th July 2024 and first time I contacted my Gp about the bowel bleed was around the 5th May 2023 according to the patches website Previous GP also refused to issue me a fit not for the back pain last year and the back pain is still occurring. I had inguinal hernia January 2021 which was repaired by Bradford royal infirmary and an Umbilical hernia was repaired by a consultant at Yorkshire clinic and I have gained weight due to the back problem with not been able to get around much.
Male | 43
It seems that you are still having the same problem of backache and bright red bleeding. This is very dangerous. The collection of the symptoms may be a result of different reasons that are related to your history like hemorrhoids, consequences of hernia repairs you have had before, or other issues that are hiding. It's vital for a careful and thorough check-up by a gastroenterologist.

I'm 29 years old . I have problem in stomuch just below chest at middle when I eat and drink water after some time I the irritation starts at that point some times acid reflux also aoccurs. This is happens from Last 5 years. This pain stoped last 4 months but it again comes
Male | 29
You may be having acid reflux. Stomach acid goes up your food pipe bringing irritation and pain. Thus, the muscle between the stomach and the food pipe weakens, which may cause this to happen. Do not eat large meals, avoid eating any spicy foods, and do not stay upright for a long time. If the pain is still present, visit a gastroenterologist.

Had the flu week ago….all the symptoms…. Stool clay color, now having pain under right rib cage…2 days ago started having loose stools every time eating something…Stool getting back to normal color now… No abdominal pain and no back pain….Is this something be concerned with… Do not take med only Tylenol….
Female | 65
Your flu last week messed with your digestion. The clay-colored poop is likely due to a liver or gallbladder hiccup. That rib pain on your right side? It connects. The loose stool after eating shows your body's still healing. But since your poop's regaining color and pain's mild, just rest up. Drink lots of water. Eat simply digestible foods. If that rib ache persists or intensifies, see a doctor. For now, your body's recovering from illness.

Iam 38 year old male iam consuming ibrufen 400 mg ofloxacin 200 mg amlodine 5 mg shall I take alcohol after how many hours of gap
Male | 38
Avoiding the interaction of alcohol with these medications is essential. The risk of a stomach bleed and low blood pressure can be amplified by alcohol when taken with ibuprofen and amlodipine, whilst dizziness and drowsiness can worsen with ofloxacin and alcohol. It is wiser to refrain from alcohol for at least 24 hours after your last dose to ensure there are no harmful interactions.

I am 42 year old male, having acidity and mild pain on upper side of abdomen,I am using antacid but after 2-3days relief, today it again started.
Male | 42
It sounds like you're experiencing severe acid reflux, which can cause pain in the upper abdomen. This happens when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, leading to discomfort. To help manage this, try avoiding spicy and fatty foods, eat smaller meals, and remain upright after eating. You might also consider taking antacids or acid reducers. If the pain persists, it's best to consult a gastroenterologist.

IBS is a disorder that affects the digestive system and can be triggered by stress, certain foods, or medications. To help manage your symptoms, consider avoiding trigger foods like spicy or fatty foods and try adding more fiber to your diet. Drinking enough water and managing stress through relaxation exercises can also be helpful. If these tips don't work, it might be helpful to talk to a gastroenterologist. They can suggest other treatment options or make changes to your current medications.
