Surgical Gastroenterologist
Answered on 26th Dec '24
Feeling uncomfortable during bowel movements, possibly with something like a small, balloon-like structure appearing, can be an indicator of hemorrhoid or anal polyp. These are common and can be caused by things such as the exertion of pressure during stool passage or sitting for too long. To ease the symptoms, you should make sure you have sufficient fiber intake, you should drink a lot of water, and ensure that you maintain good hygiene. The over-the-counter creams can also ease the torture. Nevertheless, it's a must to see a gastroenterologist for a precise diagnosis as well as a proper remedy.

I’m having pain in my chest after having eaten 3 hours ago, is this heartburn or is it something more serious?
Female | 17
Heartburn occurs when the food pipe carries the stomach acid back up. The symptoms are a burning feeling in the chest or a sore throat after meals. If you suffer from heartburn, consider eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy foods, and lying down after eating, as they will help you deal with it. If the pain continues, see a gastroenterologist.

Male | 25
Spotting blood in your stool without pain can alarm you. This may stem from mild conditions like piles or constipation. However, it could also signal concerning issues like ulcers, growths, or inflammation in your gut. Consuming fiber-rich foods, staying hydrated, and consulting a gastroenterologist will identify the cause and suitable treatment.

I was suffering from loose motion, vomiting, dizziness yesterday then I took salaine after that fever occurs and BP got too low.....and headache occurred too....why?
Female | 22
You probably experienced dehydration. This means your body lacked enough water and minerals. Loose motions and vomiting can lead to fluid loss. Drinking saline solution may help replenish fluids, but it could potentially cause fever due to an allergic reaction. Dehydration might also cause low blood pressure or headaches. Consuming water and resting can alleviate dehydration symptoms.

Why do I feel food is stuck in my throat and feel pain when we swallow food during 30weeks pregnant
Female | 21
When you are pregnant, the feeling of food is caught in the throat and a sense of pain when swallowing it is most likely caused by acid reflux. It occurs when the stomach acid erupts back to the esophagus which could make you feel like food is stuck and also can cause pain. It leads to a sensation of being unable to swallow and a painful state. One method to relieve it is by eating less and avoiding spicy foods as well as standing or sitting for some time after a meal. If the symptoms persist, seek advice from a gastroenterologist.

Going to the bathroom fifty times a day is not normal. This may signify a health issue that requires immediate care. I am 19 years old I have a pain in my stomach from 4 to 5 days but I have taken in medicine no I am not well I think it is happening due to not a proper meal consultant nearby medical store them given medicine but it is not well from that medicine sometime I am feeling pain in my stomach so I am afraid of getting kidney stone can you suggest me some medicine thank you
Male | 19
Since you've had stomach pain for several days, it's important to think about the different things that could be causing it. This pain may be caused by conditions such as indigestion, gastritis, or a stomach infection. Kidney stones are not usually the cause of pain in the stomach but in the lower back. Now, try to drink lots of water, eat light and easily digestible foods, and consider taking over-the-counter antacids to help with the stomach pain. If the pain doesn't go away or it gets worse, it's important to see a gastroenterologist for further checking and the right treatment.

Hello Doctor, 2 calculi of size12.4mm and 7.3mm have been noted in gal bladder one in fundus and other in neck respectively in ultrasound. I am having issue of pain in abdomen and back and nausea and headache. After the results of ultrasound what will be further treatment required. And also want to know if still endoscopy is required after detection in ultrasound?
Female | 33
Based on the ultrasound results, it seems that you have gallstones in your gallbladder, which is causing abdominal and back pain, nausea, and headache. And endoscopy is not required to diagnose or treat gallstones. But in some cases, an endoscopic ultrasound is used to get a better view of the gallbladder and surrounding structures. I recommend consulting with a gastroenterologist or a surgeon for further evaluation and treatment options.
