Allergic reactions bring skin discomfort - rashes, redness, itchiness, bumps. Foods, plants, pet dander often trigger them. Avoid allergy sources. Cool compresses soothe rashes. Antihistamines help, too. But if symptoms persist, visit a dermatologist.

Mild handwashes and soaps are recommended to prevent worsening of the skin prevent stripping of natural oil from the skin. Oral antihistamines, oral corticosteroids may be recommended for a short duration under supervision in case of severe flares by a dermatologist.
