On some occasions, if you touch it frequently or you don't clean it the proper way, discomfort may result. Reddish color, swelling skin, pus, and pain are among such infections. Clean it carefully though and follow a saline solution application as well as keep the ring in place to avoid this complication. If it is not getting better consult a dermatologist.

I have an dark spot on my face so I want to use acnestar gel 22g is this best for dark spot please tell me
Male | 16
The Acnestar gel 22g is not suitable for treating dark spots on the face and only used in the treatment of acne. The dark spots on the face can be caused by different factors such as sun exposure, hormonal changes or aging of skin. A dermatologist should be consulted for the right diagnosis and treatment.

I have red itchy bumps which started with 2 on my foot and has been spreading till the shoulder. It looks like chicken pox but I don’t have any fever and these doesn’t have puss in them.
Female | 25
You could have shingles, a condition with red and itchy bumps. The chickenpox virus causes it later in life. It spreads from an area to another area. Despite no fever, you should see a dermatologist. They'll confirm the diagnosis and give treatment.

Hey ! Im A Teenagers 14-15 Year old My 80-90% Hair Are White/ Grey Please Help Me Same Thing Happens To my dad at teen age please Help Me Anyone Making Fun of Me in class
Male | 14
It is okay to have white or grey hair when you are young. Genetics is one of the main reasons this might happen. Ridiculing someone because of their hair color is not okay. Optionally, there are hair dyes that can even transform a light hair color into a completely different one.

I have acne problem. My dermatologist suggested me Acnilite soap but now it's not available. So please suggest me alternative to that
Female | 21
Acne is common, causing pimples and oily skin. Hair follicles get blocked with oil and dead skin cells. You can try soap with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. These ingredients unplug pores and reduce acne. Gently wash your face, avoid harsh scrubbing.

I have a rash on my armpits and on both but it mainly itches on my left armpit and I’ve tried putting on antibiotics cream and Benadryl cream and it still itches and not getting better I haven’t been putting on deodorant either because of it
Female | 33
It seems to be a fungal infection in your left armpit. I suggest you see a dermatologist to look into the rash, and get a medication accordingly. Deodorant should also be avoided as it might make the situation worse.

I noticed a growth around my private part but not my penis but within the layers below the penis region , and I visited a pharmacist and I was told I had genital wart . Also told to use a cream called podophyllin cream , I will like to know how long the wart stays in the body and also if it doesn’t cause cancer or diseases like hiv or aids
Male | 34
Small flesh bumps down there are caused by a virus called HPV. The virus can stay in your body for a long time. But medicine like podophyllin cream can treat the bumps. Your pharmacist will guide you on using the cream. The bumps do not cause cancer, HIV, or AIDS. But you may see small, flesh-colored bumps in your private parts. Be sure to follow the cream use instructions carefully. Keep using the cream until the bumps go away. If you have more worries or questions, talk to a dermatologist.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?
Female | 7
According to the symptoms and signs described, it appears to be a case of atopic dermatitis which is common among children of the mentioned age. It is a condition where the skin barrier is disturbed and is extremely sensitive to external environmental triggers like cold and dry weather, dust etc. It presents as red dry itchy patches on cheeks, hands and legs sometimes whole body. The above mentioned creams contain topical corticosteroids which are to be used with a great caution under the supervision of Dermatologist. Good barrier repairing creams including emollients with squalene, ceramides etc can help reviving the skin barrier. Steroid sparing drugs can be prescribed to manage the rash. Please consult a qualified Dermatologist and do not use topical corticosteroids without doctor’s advice as it may cause many adverse effects.

nodular prurigo from past 1.5 year
Female | 47
Nodular prurigo is a long-lasting skin condition that causes very itchy bumps. These bumps stay for years because scratching or rubbing makes them worse. Creams can help reduce the itching, and it’s important to avoid scratching and keep the skin moisturized. Sometimes, prescription medications are needed, so it's a good idea to see a dermatologist. This condition can cause a lot of discomfort over time, as the urge to scratch makes the bumps worse. A good skincare routine and medical treatment can provide relief.

I have facial hair growth over both chin and upper lip. Its because of hormonal imbalance my DHEA level is 180. So may i know if laser hair removal will help get rid of this facial hair growth.
Female | 29
Laser hair removal can be an effective way to remove unwanted facial hair. But it is important to discuss any hormonal imbalances with your doctor before beginning a treatment plan. Laser hair removal may not be the best option for you if your DHEA level is high as this could lead to an increased risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest other options such as oral medications, topical creams, or electrolysis.

My face is tanned to 2 shades dark color suddenly and I have 4-5 moles developed on my face and neck.Kindly suggest me medicines.
Female | 38
Sun tan is quite common because of unprotected sun exposure. This is because of excess production of melanin or excess accumulation of melanin in the skin layers in response to UV rays. Moles are formed due to arrest of melanin producing cells in skin layers where they continue to produce melanin which collects to form flat or raised moles. Tan can be treated by using certain depigmenting creams which contain glycolic acid, kojicacid, alpha arbutin etc which have to be used under the supervision of a qualified dermatologist. Procedural treatment like chemical peels and laser toning with QS yag laser can help. Most important is religious use of sunscreens to prevent further tan and improvement of skin. Moles can be treated by radiofrequency ablation, punch excision or Q-switched yag laser. So please consult a qualified Dermatologist.

i got a bite from an unknown insect on my hand and there is some pimples and itching in that area . my pt inr is also showing high . what does it mean?
Male | 26
You may have gotten bitten by an insect, which your body doesn't like at all. Sometimes, such bites can result in skin all lumpy and itchy, as you have mentioned. If your PT INR levels are high, it indicates that your blood may take a longer time to clot. You should apply some anti-itch cream on the bite and also visit the physician to do your PT INR check. They could need to adjust your medicine.

I have rashes like pimple whole over my body ..what should I do?
Male | 35
You seem to have eczema, a common skin issue. It causes itchy red rashes resembling pimples everywhere. Things like allergies, dry skin, or stress can trigger eczema's flare-ups. Gently cleansing with fragrance-free products and moisturizing regularly may soothe these rashes. However, scratching affected areas risks infection, so avoid that.

Female | 19
Infections like these can be the hard-headed ones. It's crucial to seek advice from a healthcare professional to find out the most effective treatment option. Anti-scars are supposed to vanish with time, but some treatments can help improve their appearance more quickly. Continue your treatment calmly and steadily, and do not be afraid to get advice from your dermatologist.

More big Pimple on face and black spot and white spots
Male | 19
Pimples are the result of clogged pores due to oil and dead skin. Dirt or oil that is entrapped may be the reason for the formation of black and white spots. For help, the best way to go is to wash your face delicately two times every day, use products that are oil free. However, if it persists consult a dermatologist right away.

I am 18 year old last month i got pimple on my face and i just pinch it off everytime and now i have black spot on my face and i just want to get rid of it what should i do i can share picture if you want!!
Female | 18
It seems like you’ve got post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation after popping your zits. These can result in dark marks on your face. To fade them away, consider trying out products that contain vitamin C, niacinamide, or kojic acid as ingredients. Sun protection is key since UV rays can worsen the appearance of these spots. Also, remember not to irritate your skin further to avoid more dark spots.

I applied cortimycin on my face few days ago and it has refused to get off my face, how do i get it off?
Male | 19
Cortimycin can sometimes hang around if you’ve been using it for a while. You may notice dryness, redness, or irritation. To help ease it off, try washing your face gently with a mild cleanser and warm water. After that, don’t forget to put on moisturizer to calm your skin down. If this continues to be a problem, you should see a dermatologist.

I have a red whelp on my neck.
Female | 59
A red whelp appears on your neck. Potentially a harmless skin irritation could be from rubbing against something rough. Or, perhaps caused by reacting to a specific product. Sometimes bites from insects or allergies form whelps too. First, try using a cool compress and mild hydrocortisone cream. Avoid scratching, as that may worsen it. However, if symptoms persist beyond a few days, see a dermatologist.
