Walking for a long distance or exercising can sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. It's advisable to consult a gynecologist or a physician if your period is lasting longer than usual (more than 7 days), and you're also dealing with a cold and cough..

So this is from the absolute start. So my cycle start on 4th nov and ended on 9th Then on Monday 11th November I had unprotected sex in the afternoon and took p2 immediately after which was 2hours later on the same day. On Sunday 17th November I started bleeding(I had cramps) it ended on Wednesday morning that week My Flo app had showed me that I was supposed to ovulate on 20th November. That week and the next week I didn’t have any symptoms or signs of anything Until the first week of December where I started getting a lot of discharge Like egg white/watery discharge So on Sunday this week I started noticing my boobs were getting sore and I was bloated Then the cramps started and now today I got back ache. So when I logged in my symptoms and the bleeding in Flo app it counted that bleeding I had on 17th November as a period and the week I had alot of discharge became my ovulation week and now I’m on my last week before my period starts next week What do you think
Female | 20
It looks as if you suffer from a variety of symptoms related to your menstrual cycle and potential ovulation, which can be quite normal after taking emergency contraception. Hormonal changes may lead to spotting, and it is typical of approaching ovulation having egg white discharge. Breast tenderness, bloating, and cramping can be experienced also as premenstrual symptoms. As you are monitoring your cycle, keep in mind that some irregularities can take place. If your symptoms continue to bother you and your period or pregnancy are sources of your concern, take a gynecologist's opinion on the situation personally.

I took doxycycline for chlamydia for 7 days am I clear to have intercourse with my partner again? I retested and I’m negative.
Male | 25
If you have finished a full course of doxycycline for chlamydia and a negative result on testing for the infection, it is generally safe to have sexual intercourse again. You should go see a gynecologist or a urologist for a comprehensive approach and recommendation on safe sexual activity.

Symptoms such as missed periods, breakout of the face, more pimples, discomfort with the stomach, and also pain, might be symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome(P.C.O.S.). PCOS can cause hormonal imbalances that lead to these symptoms. It is important that you see a gynecologist, who can assist you in coping with your symptoms and also treat you where suitable.

Does desogestrol decrease natural estrogen levels in the body?
Female | 23
YES, DESOGESTREL decreases natural estrogen levels in the body. It is a type of PROGESTIN, which works by preventing ovulation. Since estrogen levels fluctuate during the menstrual cycle, desogestrel can also help regulate menstrual cycles. However, it's important to note that desogestrel does not completely eliminate estrogen in the body If you have concerns about your estrogen levels or the effects of desogestrel, it's important to talk to your healthcare provider.

My periods is 2 day late ..I haven't had any sexual intercourse but had oral sex I'm scared is there any chance for getting pregnant??
Female | 19
The probability of conception as a result of oral sex is very small. There are other attributes like stress, weight fluctuations, hormonal imbalances, and particular medication that can slow down periods as well. Accordingly, pay attention to the recommendation of the gynecologist to get a thorough examination of your case.

My last period date is April 25 and I have done my iui treatment on May 12 and today afternoon drops of brown discharge on my pads after 12 hours of time there is 4 time the discharge occurred in drops.... without any cramping.... please clear it is my period or implantation bleeding
Female | 29
You can have brown discharges for a variety of reasons. For example, it could be implantation bleeding which happens when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterus. Just wait and see if it goes away but if there are other signs as well then reaching out to your gynecologist would not hurt especially if they worsen.

How long do ovaries work after hysterectomy?
Female | 35
If the uterus is removed, as in a hysterectomy with preservation of ovaries, they usually work normally until natural menopause. But this may differ from person to person and the surgical approach. You should talk to your gynecologist and with the surgeon that did your surgery for details about you case. They will inform patients about post-surgery ovarian function recovery.

I am 31 year old female. For the past few days, I have been having a terrible burning sensation while peeing and the severity of the pain is intermittent. I am also forced to wear sanitary napkins due to the nonstop bleeding just like menstruation. I am also having a constant urge to pee and am unable to hold it in too. Please be kind enough to prescribe some over the counter antibiotics. Thank you.
Female | 31
You probably have a UTI (urinary tract infection). Generally, UTIs are the reasons for burning sensations during urinating, feeling like a person has to go to the loo every now and then, and even bleeding. However, you have to find a urologist who will correctly identify the disease and may prescribe antibiotics. On the other hand, drinking a lot of water and other fluids can achieve this.

Female | 23
Periods often vary due to stress, weight changes, or hormonal fluctuations. Pregnancy could also be a possibility, so it's important to take a test to confirm. Stress can delay your period, so try to stay calm and take care of yourself. If you're concerned, consider talking to a gynecologist.

I am 17 years old and am scared I might be pregnant. I used protection and checked for holes but I’m still concerned because I’m not on birth control and I took a pregnancy test 7 days after I had sex and it came back negative do you think there is a chance I could be pregnant
Female | 17
When a woman is pregnant, she might experience missed periods, nausea, and being constantly tired. However, stress can also bring these signs. Sometimes getting tested one week after intercourse may not give accurate results. If you want to be more certain, wait longer and do another test.

Cramps pain without my period ,my normal v.discharge was sticky colourless but now it's light and creamy white ,i have never heard any scent from my v before but oflate i hear some thou pale
Female | 21
Your concerns about vaginal discharge and cramps may indicate potential issues. These symptoms are often related to hormonal changes, stress, or an infection. Yeast infections are a common cause of these symptoms. To ease discomfort, try wearing breathable cotton underwear, avoiding scented products, and practicing good hygiene. However, if the symptoms persist despite these self-care measures, it's important to visit a gynecologist for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

I have two queries . First that I have pcos and my USG shows right ovary bulky what is the treatment as I have heavy periods irregular and a lot of pain. Secondly does rubbing genitals when one person is naked and another is wearing nikker causes pregnancy. ?
Female | 25
For PCOS, an enlarged right ovary may cause heavy periods, irregular cycles, and pain. Treatment focuses on managing symptoms like regulating periods and reducing pain. Contraceptive pills, exercise, and medications can help address these issues. As for your second question, rubbing genitals without clothes generally doesn’t result in pregnancy, but it’s advisable to use protection to avoid any risks. If you continue to have concerns, consulting a gynecologist is recommended.

I had unprotected sex a day after my ovulation and I took contraceptive pills. Will I still get pregnant?
Female | 28
It is possible to prevent pregnancy by taking emergency contraception pills after having unprotected sex. These pills stop or delay the release of an egg from the ovary. However, they do not work all the time. This means that you can still get pregnant. if you have any symptoms such as unusual bleeding or missed period, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

I have not got my periods and there are no symptoms of getting them. Should I be worried? Am I pregnant?
Female | 21
It's common to miss periods.. Stress, illness, medications cause changes. Take a PREGNANCY test. False negatives occur if done too early. If it's negative, wait a week and test again. If still negative see a doctor..

I m 21 yrs old I have pcod. I have my periods date 26 but it still didn't come and I have a sex on 23rd of this month and the condom was burst but he pull out quickly as we got to about condom. Is that possible that I may get pregnant due to that .
Female | 21
One of the things PCOD causes is inconsistent periods. You might get pregnant if the condom breaks, but it is quite uncommon. Missed periods, nausea, and breast tenderness are the symptoms of pregnancy. It is pretty much advised to take a pregnancy test and talk with a gynecologist to find proper guidance and care.
