That tangy white taste you get in your mouth may be from smoking or drinking alcohol. These things can make your mouth hurt. The white stuff could be a yeast infection caused by these bad habits. Try to smoke less and stop drinking so much. Also, don’t forget to brush your teeth and use mouthwash every day. If this doesn’t help, try to see a dentist soon.

I have gone through hair transplant surgery 4.5 months ago. I am suffering from Androgenetic Alopecia. As per the doctor, I am taking minoxidil and finastride on daily basis. However, my hair sheds while I apply minoxidil (10-15 hairs shed) and while I wash my head. Please suggest whether this is normal or should I consider any other treatment?
Hair fall is natural. As the lifecycle of hair has different stages.
- Telogen and exogen are shedding phases of hair cycle where we lose hair. 15 to 20% hair are shed in these phases, therefore it's natural.
- But when you lose more hair than routine, then its a matter of concern. Upto 30 to 40 hair per day is normal. Whatever you lose will grow back according to your hair cycle.
- If you are losing thin hair very frequently then it's alarming as well.
- After starting minoxidil hair fall increases. But that is normal and you will get those hair back because you are not losing them from the root.
Keep using minoxidil and finasteride it will help you.

I'm suffering from scalp folliculitis since 2 years . I have consumed various medication as advised earlier (Tablet doxycycline, tablet metronidazole, tablet clindamycin, tablet isotretinoin).these medications ka affective only till I take the medicine and then the pustules reappear. These are very painful and very itchy .
Female | 21
This is when the hair follicles on your head become infected leading to painful sores with pus which are also itchy. I can see that the drugs that you have used before don’t seem to work well for you in the long run. One should visit a dermatologist who might prescribe stronger medications or other treatments such as medicated shampoos or creams for clearing up these infections and preventing their recurrence.

Male | 21
Dark skin can happen due to reasons such as air pollution, racial background, or hormonal imbalance. To help your skin, wear sunscreen every day, drink lots of water, and eat fruits and vegetables. You can also cream skin lightening or consult with a dermatologist for other treatments that may lighten your skin.

Hello I have been having a skin infection of something that looks like ringworm. It starts like a pimple and later widens into different sizes. It started appearing on my thighs and is now appearing on every other part of my body except my face and scalp. There are moments when my skin is void of any but on other periods it appears almost every where with a lot on my fingers and palms. It's been on and off for more than 10 years now. I've consulted several dematologist with each having a different diagnosis and prescribing different creams to be applied on the affected spots but those have not helped me in any way. I truly do not know what else to do. Please help.
Female | 27
Ringworms often spread and return if not treated well. Fungal infections love warm, damp body areas. Antifungal creams don't always work for severe and stubborn infections. I suggest seeing an experienced dermatologist. They can evaluate your unique condition much better and recommend medications or other treatments suitable for this.

Male | 18
Your skin might be affected by acanthosis nigricans which is identified by dark patches, even on the throat and joints. Being overweight and having high blood pressure are risk factors for this. The treatment is to lose weight and control the BP, as a result, the patches can be healed. Follow a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and be consistent with your prescribed medications to control your blood pressure.

It may be because of hormonal or nutrition deficiency. Did you change anything recently in your diet? You should include protien and iron rich food in your diet. Stress is also a reason of hair loss. . . . Please make sure to take CAREFUL care of your HAIR. It is important to keep them healthy by taking a BALANCED diet and REDUCING stress. If the problem still persists, then it is better to visit a dermatologist.

I have a mole in my nose...how can i remove this mole by home remedies
Female | 15
Moles count the most frequent skin growths. A sore like that located inside the nose is no big deal. The best choice is to let it alone and not to attempt to remove it at home. Consult a dermatologist for the removal of a mole to avoid any bleeding or infection.

I am 14 years old and I have a terrible BO which really never goes away. I also sweat a lot, like excessive. I’ve used strong antiperspirant but that did not work at all. I don’t eat spicy food. I shower every day, I’ve tried different acids like salicylic acid, glycolic and so on but not that worked. What do I do?

You have been experiencing heavy sweating and body odor. My suggestion is to consult with a dermatologist who can assess and address your sweat and odor issues.

Sir their is bleeding from my back
Male | 36
Bleeding from the back is unusual and could be a sign of a serious condition, like an injury, infection, or an underlying issue with the blood vessels or skin. It's important to visit a general surgeon or a dermatologist to get this checked as soon as possible. They can diagnose the problem properly and guide you on the right treatment.

Skin problem redness or pimples
Female | 46
Your skin problem might mean redness or pimples. Clogged pores, germs, or irritants could cause it. Use a mild cleanser to help. Don't touch your face too much. Look for salicylic acid in products. Stress and diet also matter sometimes. Drink lots of water. Try relaxing. Every person's skin reacts differently. If it doesn't improve, see a dermatologist.

I am a 25 year old female, a new tiny black beauty spot appeared on my back,it's absolutely tiny like a pencil dot,is it normal to still get beauty spots at the age of 25,its not itchy or painful and it's flat.
Female | 25
It's completely normal to get new beauty spots at the age 25. If the spot is small, clean, and not causing any discomfort, it's likely harmless. These spots might appear due to sun exposure or your genes. It's important to keep an eye on any changes in the size, shape, or color of the spot. If you notice unusual things like bleeding or rapid growth, visit a dermatologist to be safe.

I'm 19 Years old female I have a mole on my nipples (breast) which is skin in colour and Thin right side is small in size and left side a increasing so, what is wrong with it? Is it danger Or Normal? Please reply
Female | 19
It's a common thing for moles to appear all over the body, even on the nipple area. If you see changes in size or color, it's important to notice them. A mole increasing in size may be an indication of skin-related problems. A dermatologist's examination will be more than enough to change everything.

I have Fungal dermatitis on my face, neck & back and it won’t go away. I’m not sure the cause (cessation of birth control, overuse of other products, diet, etc) but when I treat it with anti-fungal products it sometimes diminishes, but keeps returning. This has gone on for 6 months. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?
Female | 32
You may have a persistent form of fungal dermatitis. There are symptoms such as red itchy patches on the back, neck, and face. The fungus does well on the skin in warm places with lots of moisture. The causes can be triggered by changes in hormones, using too much products, or eating habits. Keep the areas clean and dry should be done to solve this problem. It would worsen the condition if heavy oils or creams are applied because of this reason. Also, make sure anti-fungal medications are used as directed only. Do not share personal items like clothes and towels with others if you don’t want them to get infected. If the condition does not go away, please visit a dermatologist.
