Hi, I am facing a hair fall problem for the last 4 years. I am facing this continuous problem of hair falling whenever I wash my hair, due to this the hair density has been reduced and from the front, the hairline has shifted back. How long does the transplant procedure take? How long is the recovery period? What is the success rate of the transplant, in other words, how long does it last before the hair falls out again? What happens to the area where you took the hair follicles from? I had a level 2 baldness.

Hello,
- As per your question, usually it takes 2 to 4 hours for hair transplant surgery, but the time depends on the technique you choose and the sittings you require for your baldness level.
- Most people are able to return to work 2 to 5 days after the surgery.
- As far as hair transplant recovery is concerned, within 2 to 3 weeks post surgery the transplanted hair will fall out. But it is a good indication that your body has accepted the transplanted follicles. Most people will see 60% of new hair growth after 6 to 9 months.
- Hair transplant success rate is 90%
- But this success rate depends on the doctor and the clinic you choose. The more experience the doctor and the clinic technicians have, the better your success rate will be.
- The hair follicles that were extracted from the donor area of your head would not grow back. The hair follicles are extracted at certain intervals so that hair in the donor area does not look scanty. For your baldness level 2, you may require 1500 - 2000 grafts or more depending on the baldness area and the type of hair you have. You can read more about hair transplant price, on our blog - Cost of Hair Transplant.
For this, you have to consult the Hair Transplant Surgeon for proper guidance, our page will help with that regard - Hair Transplant in Mumbai. Hope my answer helps you.

I’m having a boil in my private part it’s increasing and not painful
Female | 29
Boils are typical and often disappear but it is better to have them treated. If you have a boil on your private part that is growing but not hurting, it may be a sign that you have an infection. Clean and fresh air is okay. You can apply warm compresses to the area to help it drain. In the case that it doesn't improve or the pain starts, you should consult a dermatologist.

Just wanna know something,my upper lip is tanned whole the lower is pink which looks weird, want to know what to do in this situation!!
Male | 18
A tanned upper lip and pink lower lip might seem perplexing, but it’s pretty common. The simplest explanation would be sun exposure since our upper lips are generally more affected by the sun than our lower ones are. To tan less and protect your lips, you should always apply sunscreen before going out into the sun; if you want extra protection, use SPF lip balm as well. Eventually, the colors will even themselves out.

Female | 16
Taking care of oily, acne-prone skin is a priority for many teenage girls. Sunscreen plays a vital role in skin protection. Choose oil-free and non-comedogenic sunscreens. These won't clog pores or make your skin greasy. Look for zinc oxide or titanium dioxide ingredients. They are gentle. Sunscreen prevents skin damage and premature aging. Establish a daily sunscreen habit for healthy skin.

I got pimples even I try so many products still I didn't get any results even after eating sugar I get more pimples any treatment for acne?
Female | 22
You get pimples when the pores on your skin get blocked by oil and dead cells. An extra breakout might be a result of eating too much sugar. Softly washing your face every day could help relieve acne. Besides, say no to sweet stuff. Finally, use acne products that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as ingredients. All the same, you should know that seeing any changes may take a while. You can also visit a dermatologist for solutions to your acne.

Can you suggest to me the best hair transplant technique? And after my hair transplant surgery will I have to take off from my work for a few days??
Male | 32
The choice of the best hair transplant technique depends on various factors, including your hair loss pattern, donor hair availability, and your preferences. Two common methods are Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). FUT involves removing a strip of the scalp for grafts, leaving a linear scar, while FUE involves individually extracting follicles, leaving minimal scarring. Regarding recovery, it's advisable to take a few days off work after the surgery. The initial recovery period typically involves some swelling, redness, and scabbing around the transplant area.

Your skin may have enlarged pores due to genetics, excess oil, or not cleaning properly. To help reduce them, try using a cream with salicylic acid or retinol, as these ingredients can gradually shrink pores. Additionally, wash your face regularly and protect your skin from the sun.

Hello docto I'm noticing some uneven skin tone on my face and hands. They also appear darker than the rest of my body. Can you help me understand what might be causing this?" And also some pimples on my face can you give a solution??
Male | 16
Darker areas on your skin may be hyperpigmentation. This common issue happens when the skin makes too much pigment. Sun exposure, hormones, or irritation can cause it. As for pimples, they come from clogged pores and extra oil. To help, use a gentle face wash, sunscreen, and products with ingredients like retinol or niacinamide. These can even out skin tone and unclog pores. You can also visit a dermatologist for a proper treatment.

Tenderness and swelling when touching a spot but no redness or lumps could indicate muscle strain or injury. Overuse or poor posture sometimes causes such pain. Applying ice and resting from strenuous activities can ease discomfort. Avoid activities worsening pain. If pain persists or worsens, consider seeing a dermatologist for evaluation and advice.

I am 22 years old and I am facing with eczema on my finger it's kind of a dry itchy and small swellings on that finger and that spreading on other fingers of my hand too I have tried many creams but it helps temporarily and again the condition continues.. what should I do?
Female | 22
When ignored, eczema can cause dry, itchy skin with small bumps that may spread to other fingers. This condition is usually not contagious but uncomfortable. Eczema may be brought about by allergens or irritants present in the environment or stressors at home or the workplace. To manage this kind of problem, always keep the skin moisturized all the time; avoid anything that triggered the outbreak such as harsh detergent soaps among others–instead use mild ones which are readily available over-the-counter (OTC) drugs like hydrocortisone creams can also work effectively if prescribed by doctors specializing in treating diseases related with epidermis.
