Hi my baby is having very high fever and severe cough for past 3 days, And then as per the pediatrician we have given few test like CBC, URINE ROUTINE, DENGUE, MALARIA, CRC test and then on seeing the report doctor says that nothing to worry. And then he started with antibiotics augmentin dds suspension , Lenovil and calpol for 5 days, and still fever was not reduced since 3 days over. And yesterday again I visisted the doctor and they said to give Anti-Flu syrup, if the temperature goes at 103 degree. I am so tensed and worried. My Doubt is we have to give anti-flu only if the temperature is at 103 or we can give now. I am more tensed and worried as she is 3 years old.

why is my appendix sent to lab after appendectomy? Is it done for every patient as standard? Or did they find anything unusual during surgery?

You likely developed varicocele, a condition where scrotal veins swell. This causes testicle pain and swelling. Running can worsen varicocele symptoms. Wear supportive underwear and avoid activities putting pressure there. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a urologist.

Why there was discharge before peing after taking termin injection
Male | 22
Regular pre-pee discharge after terminal injection is common. The shot sometimes aggravates the bladder, which results in this. There is some likelihood that it will also evoke a slight feeling of burning or a soft, dull pain. However, do not panic, as this symptom will normally resolve. Water is necessary to dilute the toxins in your body. If the problem lasts longer or becomes more severe, consult your physician.

When a person suffers for more than a week with persistent fatigue and drowsiness, it may be because of numerous medical problems, like anemia, disorders of the thyroid, depression, or sleep apnea. So, you should choose to see a general practitioner or a family doctor who can have your overall exam done and just talk about your symptoms.

Hello! After a common cold I have tinnitus. My doctor said the ear nerve is the problem and made a therapy plan with infusions of antibiotics and dexametason for 5 days. After the 2nd one there is no improvement. Im not sure if this is the right therapy for my problem
Female | 18
It should be noted that tinnitus may manifest itself after a cold because of the inflammation in the middle ear. But the treatment plan that you offer seems adequate. In this regard, it is recommended to have all the antibiotics and dexamethasone. In case of absence of any improvements, you should see your ENT specialist for additional evaluation and treatment.

I am 18 years old and have joined gym since a year. I am 6.2 feet tall and I think this to be the reason for not gained weight. My current weight is 64.I have been using whey protein from 6 months but no result. I am vegetarian and eating high calorie food still unable to gain weight. Do you recommend me to take creatine and is it totally safe as a late teen
Male | 18
It would be better if you consulted a nutritionist or dietitian to get an individualized meal plan. When you are 6.2 feet tall, it does not mean that weight gain is impossible. It would rule out or treat other underlying medical conditions such as thyroid disorder, metabolic disease. Consult a specialist before taking creatine or any other supplement, in order to make sure it is safe for you.

Taking a high dose of paracetamol can be dangerous and harmful to your liver. Vomiting after taking medication may reduce the amount of the drug absorbed by your body, which can be a protective mechanism.

Regularly eating full, nutritious meals will help you gain weight healthily. Nuts, seeds, avocados, and healthy fats provide calorie-rich nutrients. Yogurt and nut butter make great snacks. Aim for three meals daily, plus snacks in between. Increasing daily calorie intake this way supports weight gain. Don't forget to drink lots of water too.
