You might have acid reflux making your chest feel weird after eating. It could also be anxiety. Dry, scratchy eyes are another sign of being anxious. You should try eating more slowly and staying away from spicy foods as well as doing relaxation exercises or talking with someone you trust about what's on your mind Managing your anxiousness can also help with relieving dryness so if needed use some artificial tears.

I get fainting and I have so many negative thoughts and it's change my behaviour and I suffer lot

Female | 18

Your drooping spirits and the negatives in your thinking have the consequence of your behavior. Various causes of these signs are found hence people having been under a lot of stress or anxiety experience the same feeling. When you go through the emotions focus on the end of this exercise: slow breathing and calming of the soul. Besides, communicating with your close friends or even family members can be helpful. You can also recognize that it's important to ask for help when needed.

Hi, my name is aiden i am 14 years old and I've been wondering if there something wrong with me when i lay down on my chest i find it a lil hard to breathe sometimes i wonder if its axizety or i might be overthinking but other then that ive been having axizety making it hard for me to sleep and i just feels like my eyes are close but im not getting any sleep what should i do

Male | 14

When you lay on your chest and it feels hard to get air in, that could be from anxiety. Anxiety also makes it difficult for people to sleep well at night.  You can learn how to control your breathing when talking about it with them and other ways of calming down too if they know about it. Try doing things before going to bed like making a routine so that every time before sleep you will make sure that you get into bed more easily also practice good habits around sleep like not watching any screens an hour before bedtime because they keep awake longer which means fewer hours spent resting. If these symptoms stay or get worse then maybe it's time to see the doctor and tell them what’s been happening.

I am prescribed 0.50 mg of alprazolam as needed. I took my dose and do not feel anything and am still having an anxiety attack. It has been 2 and a half hours since I took that dose. Can I take 0.25 now or is it too dangerous? I have no health issues.

Female | 24

Don't take more medicine without going to a doctor. You may hurt yourself if you do anything harmful. At least attempt to find some other way besides taking so much Xanax all the time because that could end badly too, like speaking halfway or breathing deeply.  If these don't work then going to therapy would be great too.

I visited a psychiatrist and he prescribed me these meds. Daxtin 20mg Daxtin 40mg Fluvoxamine 50mg Etilaam .25mg Explain these medicines from all perspective and help me get a pros and cons list

Male | 21

Here's some brief information about the medicines that your psychiatrist has recommended: 1. Daxtin 20mg and Daxtin 40mg: These are prescribed for depression. These drugs can help increase the serotonin and norepinephrine levels, improving your mood and energy. 2. Fluvoxamine 50mg: It's also great for depression and anxiety. It works better for sleep and decreases the level of anxiety. 3. Etilaam 0.25mg: It cures anxiety and panic attacks. Positive: Such products have the potential to alleviate depression, give you a good night's sleep, and anxiety at a manageable level.

Negative: It might bring alongside other effects such as vomiting, giddiness, and drowsiness. In other words, these medications are intended to make you feel better, but they can also cause other health problems. Do not stop taking them on your own – always take them as your doctor has prescribed and notify them of any discrepancies in your condition!

I recently found out I am pregnant. I am currently on antidepressants (50mg quetiapine, 150m Lamotrigine and 20mg escitalopram) should I be worried about the baby's development. I also had a miscarriage before, what can I do to keep baby healthy, are there recommendations for supplements

Female | 33

Pregnant women should have normal worries when carrying a baby after a miscarriage. The medications you've been prescribed can influence the development of your baby but quitting them too quickly can also be dangerous. This is the reason why it is vital to discuss this with your doctor. To promote your child's health, eat healthy foods and take prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid.

Sleep paralysis is a sleep disorder that makes you feel stuck. Your brain wakes up, but your body doesn't. This causes temporary paralysis which can be scary. You might feel afraid or confused. Seeing things move or crying are part of this experience. To reduce sleep paralysis, have a regular sleep routine. Go to bed at the same time each night. Avoid screens before bed. I smoked a lot of thc oil daily many times and I’m wondering how long it will stay in my urine

Male | 23

Marijuana high stuff called THC that brings about a high mood can stick in your urine for a while. If you have smoked a lot of THC oil, it could have stuck in your urine for up to 30 days. The symptoms can vary but may include problems with memory, thinking, and mood. The solution is to run those with THC out of the system and help with some water intake to get flushed out.

Cold sweats, cold feet ,heart ache ,fear of death, nausea, cough

Female | 22

The situation you describe may indicate that you are suffering from a panic attack. Cold sweats, cold feet, chest pain, fear of dying, nausea, and coughing can be the accompanying symptoms. Panic attacks may result from stress, anxiety, or even a medical condition. Among the ways of handling a panic attack are deep breathing, concentrating on relaxing thoughts, and talking to a trustworthy person.

I have taken unwanted 72 pill yesterday. For avoiding unwanted pregnancy I'm patient of depression my antidepressants medicine are lithosun sr, lonazep, olimelt, aripmt . I daily take these antidepressants but yesterday not and till now . Does antidepressants reduce the effectiveness of unwanted 72. Will I get pregnant? I'm worried

Female | 21

In general, the impact of the 72-hour pill on the efficiency of antidepressants is not that significant. If used in the recommended time frame, it is meant to work against getting pregnant. However, skipping your antidepressant doses may lead to your general well-being. Pay attention to any strange signs or emotional changes. If you go through persistent anxiety or if you have other concerns, see your healthcare provider for specifically tailored advice, and they can also help both your mental health and contraceptive requirements.

I have trouble falling back to sleep when I wake up in middle of the night. What do I do?

Male | 25

One of the reasons that might be causing this is probably stress or anxiety. Although you need to sleep, your mind is busy processing thoughts that have been bothering you. Try relaxation exercises. One example is meditation through deep breathing or exercises to keep your mind off the problem. You can chat with a sleep specialist if this continues.

Am fully stress and i can't sleep all night. I wand to cry i don't know the reason but i wand cry

Female | 18

That's normal - everyone experiences those feelings now and then. Stress builds up. It makes sleeping difficult and brings tears easily. That's okay though. Try opening up to someone you trust about what's bothering you. Deep breaths or listening to calm music might help too. Don't forget: taking care of your mental health matters just as much as your physical health.
