If you see a faint line on a pregnancy test, it could mean you are pregnant. Some signs of pregnancy are gone periods, sick feelings, and sensitive breasts. Pregnancy occurs when a man's sperm fertilizes a woman's egg. If you want to stop the pregnancy, you can talk to a doctor about options like a procedure or medication. Consult with a gynecologist to evaluate the most suitable alternative for you.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 13 October 2023. I drank morning after pill the following morning then I skipped my periods for 2 months then started bleeding for 14 days in December 2023 Could this be a miscarriage without me knowing I was pregnant
Female | 20
It could be that you had a miscarriage. This happens sometimes without realizing pregnancy. Signs may be heavy bleeding, painful cramps, and passing clots. Unbalanced hormones or issues with the embryo cause it. See a gynecologist if you think it occurred, so they check you're okay.

Female | 17
Pregnancy happens when the sperm meets the egg. You can worry when your periods do not come, but other things like stress, changes in your body, or the pills you take can make your periods late. If you are still worried, you should take a pregnancy test to be sure. Talk to a gynecologist about other ways to not get pregnant in the future.

Hi I was ovulating and had sex and took a plan b and still got my period could I be pregnant
Female | 22
If you took plan B after having sex during ovulation, got your period, and experienced no unusual symptoms, it's unlikely you're pregnant. Plan B reduces the chances of pregnancy by preventing or delaying ovulation. However no contraception is 100% effective, so taking a pregnancy test or consulting a gynecologist is a good idea if you're still concerned.

I've had my menus pause 3-4 years ago. Yesterday suddenly I'm bleeding and having my periods again and even my ankles have swollen . What is the cause eof such happening suddenly
Female | 47
It's understandable to feel concerned about these sudden changes. Bleeding after several years can be caused by various factors, such as hormonal imbalances, stress, or underlying medical conditions. Swelling in your ankles may indicate fluid retention, which could be linked to your symptoms. I recommend consulting a gynecologist promptly to discuss these changes, as they will offer you personalized advice and appropriate tests. They can help determine the underlying cause and suggest suitable treatments.

I'm a person who has irregular period .I living together with my fiance. I had unprotected sex and this month my period was delay. I took 3 pregnancy test and all are negative. my period dates January - 23 February - 19 March - 21 May i know the reason for my late period ? What tablets can i get for my late period ? The delay in menstruation is very disturbing to my mind
Female | 22
Late periods can happen for many reasons: stress, illness, weight changes. Irregular cycles occur without serious causes sometimes. It's good that you took pregnancy tests. Three negatives likely mean you're not pregnant. If your period remains delayed, try not to worry excessively. It may come soon. However, if you're very concerned, see a gynecologist for reassurance.

Female | 27
Yes, the periods could be delayed following a D&C procedure. On account of hormone changes or your body adapting to the new condition, this would be the case. Stress and anxiety may be the contributing factors to late periods as well. If your period does not come within a few more weeks, consult a gynecologist for guidance.

Lower belly aches, drowsiness, urinary issues, and bloating are common side effects, often due to a urinary tract infection or mild inflammation. Rest well, drink plenty of water, and consider over-the-counter painkillers if needed. These symptoms usually heal on their own, but if they persist or worsen, consult a gynecologist.
