You may be suffering from a disease known as contact dermatitis that you have. This is due to the skin’s reaction to an external factor that has come into contact with it such as a new product or even a plant. Tiny bumps and itching are common symptoms. To help, try to notice what triggers it and avoid those things. Besides, you can also apply a moisturizer that is free of any smell to calm your irritated skin. If it worsens or doesn't get better, the best thing to do is go to a dermatologist.

I am Siddhartha Banerjee of 50 years feeling pressure sore just at the middle of my chest under the skin beside of a lump. Observed reddish area beside the lump from where the pain comes. Please suggest me what to do.
Male | 50
The issues you mentioned like sore spots, lumps, and red areas may indicate an abscess. This infection occurs when bacteria enters the skin. Keep the affected area dry and clean. Use warm compresses for pain relief. However, if symptoms don't improve or worsen, seek proper medical assessment and treatment from a dermatologist promptly.

l have itchy legs for last two weeks and it itch constantly. What should i do?
Male | 15
When skin is dry, it tends to be more during winter. It could also result from an allergy to something like soap or lotion. Moreover, conditions such as eczema may affect the skin too. Try to solve this problem by using a lot of moisturizing lotion, changing your soap to the one that does not react, and stopping scratching to avoid infections. If these measures fail, then see a dermatologist.

I am 17 year old i have pimple or acne in face and back since 8 month i consulted to my near dermatologist but i dont get any reslut what should i do
Male | 17
Acne can pop up on both your face and back, and it can be irritating. This is when the oil, as well as dead skin cells, block the pores and result in acne. The result is inflamed bumps and whiteheads. You can try a mild cleanser to clear your skin and pimples stay clear by not touching or squeezing them. Drink enough water and eat healthy food to stimulate the regeneration of the skin. If your acne does not diminish, talk to a dermatologist who can suggest other treatment options.

Female | 43
It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for your melasma. Depending on the severity of your melasma, they may recommend a combination of topical and laser treatments, chemical peels, lightning creams. Recommended limiting sun exposure and wearing sunscreen with a high SPF rating, to reduce your risk of further melasma flare-ups.

I have purple spots on my arm but i feel any pain
Male | 20
Red-purple dots may appear on your arm. They don't hurt. These come from tiny blood vessels bursting close to the skin's surface. This condition is called purpura. Purpura can happen due to small injuries or randomly. Most cases go away without treatment. However, if more spots show up, or other symptoms occur, or if purpura persists, you should see a dermatologist. This can rule out underlying health issues causing these spots.

Accidents often result in scars. These marks may appear pink, raised, or flat. Various treatments exist to improve scar appearance. For instance, silicone gels/sheets, laser therapy, and corticosteroid injections can potentially fade scars gradually. Visit a dermatologist for appropriate treatment. However, it's crucial to remain patient throughout the process, as visible improvement takes time.

Iam 36 years old I have oily skin with open pores I need some moisturizer for.my skin to.look fresh kindly suggest
Female | 36
You need a non-comedogenic moisturiser which doesn’t cause any breakout or add to the oily state of the skin. Squalene, ceramide containing moisturisers which do not block the pores are recommended for oily skin. Please consult a dermatologist for thorough analysis of your skin to get a customised prescription suitable for your skin. Each one has a unique skin and has to use best suitable products to maintain a healthy skin. Open pores can be reduced by using retinol containing creams at bedtime. If they are severe procedural treatments like laser toning, micro needling radio frequency can help.

I have a tiny small small dot like Black head on my nose tip this got remove whenever i squeeze that with my finger how can i remove my all black dot on my nose tip
Male | 23
We do not recommend that you try to manually remove black dots on the rhinion by squeezing or picking them as it can cause scarring, infection, and even further damage to the nose. These black dots are blackheads that result from the formation of black plugs in the pores. A dermatologist is the right person in the healthcare sector to the diagnosis and treatment of this condition.

Female | 20
Vitiligo is a medical issue leading to pale spots on skin areas. It happens when your body attacks its own cells. Or vitiligo may stem from inherited genes. There's no permanent fix, but creams and light treatment can help blend skin tones better. Sun protection is key to stop color changes. You can also visit a dermatologist for treatment.

This type of pain, darling, can occasionally be a result of hormonal variations, like during your menstrual cycle. It could also be wearing too tight clothes or even a sign of muscle strain. In order to treat the pain, you can wear loose clothes, use warm compresses and gentle massage.

I have had a discolored/ black nail all my life without any injury or signs of trauma to the nailbed. I was wondering what is it because I've seen online that people are saying its a type of melanoma.
Male | 13
Discolored nails without an obvious reason may worry you, but it's not always melanoma. Sometimes, excess pigment causes this condition known as melanonychia. Although melanoma could cause discoloration, it's rare. A dermatologist's opinion provides assurance, so getting it checked is wise.
