It's normal to have cramps after a surgical abortion. It is sometimes seen that your body needs time to finish healing. Abdominal cramps and pelvic pain might happen because your uterus is adjusting. Besides, you might have a positive result of infection. If the pain is getting stronger or the fever is high, call a gynecologist. Resting, drinking water, and a warm compress can help relieve the discomfort.

Hello, Doctor. My sister recently had an abortion, and we're looking for clarification on the results. Could you please explain the outcome and any follow-up steps or care she should take?"

Female | 22

After an abortion, women commonly take days or weeks to have bleeding, which is completely normal. Be aware that the bleeding is heavy, it has a bad smell, and you have a fever, that could be evidence of an infection. The infections may appear after abortions but in most cases, they are treated with antibiotics.

I'm only student ???? i feel like I'm pregnant please help me out

Female | 23

Not having periods when they are due, throwing up, being weary, sensitivity in the chest area, and frequent urination may indicate that someone is pregnant. Feeling like one is pregnant might also come from anxiety, hormonal imbalances, or other medical conditions. Make sure to use a pregnancy kit.

Period symptoms don’t usually include stomach aches, but it seems that’s what you’re going through. Weakness, dizziness, and fatigue may be low iron in the blood or hormonal changes. Ensure you take a healthy diet consisting of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Apart from that, drink enough water and have a good sleep. Should these symptoms persist, seeking medical attention for further investigation is vital.

I am a 15 year old female, I have been experiencing extreme nausea, bloating, and headaches for the past 2 weeks. I am a PCOS patient and haven't had my period in about 90 days, could that be the cause?

Female | 15

Our symptoms of extreme nausea, bloating, headaches, and irregular periods could potentially be linked to your PCOS condition. PCOS can cause hormonal imbalances that lead to various symptoms. However, other factors like gastrointestinal issues, infections, or stress could also be contributing.

I am 22 years of age experiencing period pains but no periods

Female | 22

This can happen to some people. Usually, it is nothing to worry about. The stresses, hormonal changes, or normal body changes might be the reasons for these pains. You can try light exercise to feel better. Also, you can apply a warm compress to your lower belly or take over-the-counter pain relief medicine like ibuprofen if needed.
