Is the presence of fluid in the knee two years post knee replacement a cause for concern?
Male | 45
a fluid in the knee is something to worry about because it might be an infection or loosening of an implant. A visit to an orthopedic specialist is necessary so that the condition can be evaluated and suitable treatment advised. In some cases, postponing treatment may result in additional complications that will require more aggressive procedures.

Why have I had rib pain for months and hurts my side when breathing in
Female | 21
Chronic pain in ribs occurs which makes them feel painful while breathing. Moreover, it is often associated with the development of a life-threatening disease. The most widespread reasons for such pain are muscle strain, rib cracks, or inflammation of the lung lining. If you feel that such pain is occurring, it would be wise to make an appointment with a pulmonologist or an orthopedist.

Lower back pain mainly in spine near the flank area. Pain not present all time. Pain occurred after waking up from bed at any time.
Male | 24
Sore muscles can be the root of this problem due to, for example, a bad sleeping posture. It might also be the spine itself that is giving you problems. Help your body to recuperate from the injury by avoiding movements that make it worse, using a heating pad or ice pack, and trying gentle stretches for the back. If the pain persists or you think you are feeling worse, it is a good idea to consult an orthopedist.

Male | 22
You're likely dealing with foot drop and leg paralysis. These concerning symptoms stem from nerve or muscle damage. It's crucial to get examined by a medical professional for an accurate diagnosis. Treatment options may involve physical therapy exercises to fortify your leg muscles and enhance mobility. Additionally, resting your leg, performing prescribed exercises, and utilizing assistive devices like braces could potentially aid your recovery process.

How to get rid of knee crepitus
Male | 36
Knee crepitus can be from multiple causes. Painless crepitus can be ignored. So, I won't advice for crepitus knee treatment as such.. Crepitus from knee cap problems can be cured with hip and knee strengthening. Crepitus from cartilage irregularities or loose pieces often need minor keyhole surgery. Painful crepitus from arthritis is initially treated with physical therapy and surgery when therapy stops helping.

Hi there, Hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to ask about medial tibial stress syndrome/tibial stress fractures. I’ve been training for my 2nd marathon for the past few months and have experienced some shin pain along the inside of my left leg (dominate leg). It’s a low pain level that never exceeds 1-3 out of 10 on a pain level scale. My main issue is that it’s challenging to self diagnose this. Part of me sees a couple fracture symptoms - the pain is localized (not big like a typical shin splint), there is slight pain when I run up or down stairs, some discomfort when I jump multiple times on the one leg, and the pain fluctuates from day to day. And although the pain point is localized, it’s not quite as tender or painful as some examples I’ve read online (so maybe not a fracture?). My reasons why I think this could just be a shin splint are because the pain has not gotten worse over the past 3 weeks (while running), and the pain fades away most of the time when I’m running (sometimes I feel discomfort during the first mile or 2 but then it’s gone). I even ran a half marathon race with a personal best time just 5 days ago, and was not bothered by it during or after the race. I started noticing this issue about 3 weeks ago. I took a couple days off from running 2.5 weeks ago to address it. I didn’t think it was anything alarming, so I continued my training for 2 weeks - I run about 50 to 60 miles a week. I haven’t ran for 5 days this week because I began to get paranoid about this injury still lingering (last thing I want is to turn a shin splint into a fracture). It’s strange the injury hasn’t gotten worse, and like I said, the pain fluctuates from day to day, but never exceeds a 3 out of 10 on the pain level scale. I’m wondering if you have any recommendations and if it’s worth visiting a doctor in person soon. My ultimate goal is to still run my marathon the final weekend of April, but I’ll need at least 5 to 6 more weeks of training - therefore if my rest time exceeds 3 weeks, I probably can’t do the race. Obviously it’s not the end of the world if I have to sit out. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon! Take care, Dominic

You might have medial tibial stress syndrome or tibial stress fractures, which occur when your shin bones experience repeated stress from activities like running. You may feel localized pain, discomfort when jumping, and varying levels of pain. Rest, apply ice to the area, and consider seeing an orthopedist for evaluation and advice.

I am a 20 year old male. I have observed that the growth of my arm bone(both the hands) stopped in teen years which resulted in unusually thin arms. What should I do?
Male | 20
You have skinny arms due to delayed bone growth. This can be caused by factors like genetics, poor diet, or hormones. It's important to see your doctor; they can evaluate your condition and recommend treatment. In the meantime, focus on foods rich in calcium and vitamin D, as these help strengthen bones. Also, working out and lifting weights can build muscle and strengthen your arms. However, your orthopedist’s advice will be the most helpful, so ensure to follow it.

For shoulder pain similar to a frozen shoulder, it's best to consult an orthopedist for accurate diagnosis and treatment advice. Possible steps to consider could be physical therapy, pain management with medications (under medical guidance), hot/cold therapy, stretching, gentle movement, and, if necessary, corticosteroid injections or surgical options.

Yes broken leg and leg Sergery how to get impvmnt
Male | 53
If you have suffered from a broken leg and have undergone surgery to mend it, the improvement progress can be quite slow. Post-surgery, pain, swelling, and limited mobility are common symptoms that can be expected. Follow your doctor's instructions to the letter to get better - that is, do physical therapy exercises, rest your leg if needed, and take any drugs that are prescribed. You will soon start feeling better and can move easily, but you should be patient and give it time.

Foot got twist and now its swelling need medicine name
Male | 35
You might have twisted or sprained your foot. Swelling is part of your body's natural selection to help the hurting area. You are likely to reduce the pain and swelling by taking over-the-counter drugs like ibuprofen. Do not forget to rest the foot, elevate it, and apply ice. If the pain is increasing or there's no improvement, examine an orthopedist for more information.
