Symmetrical Neuropathy: Seeking Treatment in Chennai
I have had some kind of neuropathy for the past 4.5 years and have level 6/7 pain in my palms, soles, toes, and fingers. I suffer from pin/needle and burning pain. Over the years I have also lost my muscles in both legs, thighs, arms, posteriors, and have become very weak and can hardly walk now. All my symptoms are symmetrical on both sides. Extensive tests including MRI of brain, chest, EMG, abdomen, ABI, spine, etc. have been done but no significant disease has been found. Constant routine blood tests have shown no major problems. I am not diabatic and have not been identified as hypertensive. Some doctors have inconclusively indicated small fiver neuropathy. I have used gabapentin, pregabalin, and duloxetine for pain relief. I continue to become weak due to muscle atrophy. My friends and relatives have suggested treatment in Chennai, and I would like to come to Chennai in a short time hoping for better treatment and cure of my disease. Thank you and looking forward to a quick response.

Sir i have consecutive falls for 4 days last month in last week now from 7 oct to 10 oct again. I am worried is this some desease or why it is consecutive, even thay i exercise, my diet is one glass dates shake, then 2 eggs , 3 times meal, i drink alot. Being different days doesn't matter, but i want to ask why it is consecutive, even i don't watch or think something like that which aggravate it
Male | 30
Fall can be caused by many problems, including balance disorders, vision problems, or muscle weakness. Take care of yourself by getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and checking your medication for side effects. Consult a neurologist for a proper assessment and instructions on how to prevent falls in the future.

I experienced a fall from a chair backward and received a blow to the back right side of my head, behind the ears. There's a small swelling, but it's entirely painless, with no accompanying symptoms such as vomiting, headache, nausea, or confusion. It's been 40 days, and the swelling persists without any pain. What course of action would you recommend I take?
Male | 20
It's good that you don't have severe symptoms like headache, nausea, or confusion. However, since the swelling has persisted for 40 days, it's important to get it checked. I recommend visiting a neurologist to ensure there are no underlying issues.

Have a pulsating headache on both sides of my head since a month
Female | 18
Steady throbbing in your head for a month straight is a real downer. That might mean tension headaches. Stress, no sleep, eyes straining too much - those things can cause them. Take breaks from computer screens. Relax your body and mind. Sleep enough hours each night. Pain relievers you can buy without a prescription might help. Drink lots of water, too. But if the headaches won't go away, you should visit a neurologist to get checked out properly.

Diabetic neuropathy is a result of edema when your nerves are damaged by high blood sugar levels. Symptoms such as burning or tingling in hands and feet may be very uncomfortable. Your diabetes treatments along with the controlled blood sugar levels and exercising will bring down the pain. Follow your doctor's advice thoroughly so you will be feeling better soon.

You seem to experience leg discomfort, struggling to move it smoothly. Various factors contribute to muscle strain, injury, inadequate rest, or excessive usage. Smart moves involve temporarily resting, applying ice packs to ease pain, and gently stretching muscles. However, persistent pain warrants professional evaluation. Physiotherapists possess expertise assessing such conditions, offering tailored treatment plans.

My grandfather age is 69 he had second brain stroke after 3 month now he able to speak slow slow today he got anger and eat food by himself without ask anyone after I ask him is any problem you in eat he said no problem and easy to eat . so please doctor suggest me can we start giving him food by mouth
Male | 69
It is quite predictable for a person who had a stroke for the second time to have trouble speaking and experiencing behavior changes. The good thing is that he ate without any problem which is a way forward. His improved swallowing ability is reflected in his independent eating skills. It's necessary to lay a good basis by cutting out soft foods and liquids to avoid choking. Let him carry out the process of swallowing without being rushed. It's recommended that a speech therapist or a healthcare provider be the one to provide him with a diet plan that he must follow carefully.

When I press my head backside (the place where it was hit when I fell)... It's bleeding from nose... And we took a CT scan they told there's nothing on it... But now it's strted to bleeding on ears and then the eyes on the side where it was hit
Male | 16
It sounds like you are experiencing some serious symptoms, even though your CT scan showed no abnormalities. Bleeding from the nose, ears, and eyes after a head injury can be concerning and should be taken seriously. I strongly recommend that you visit a neurologist or an ENT specialist as soon as possible for a thorough examination and proper treatment. They will be able to assess your condition more accurately and provide the necessary care.

These symptoms together with unintentional loss of weight are worrisome. This could happen for many reasons including pulled muscles or problems with the cervical spine but it could also be something more serious so I would advise seeking medical attention soon so you can find out what is wrong before starting any treatment plan.

Sir some times my hand stomach leg also beating what is this problem
Male | 19
It seems that you may have this condition called palpitations. You may feel that your heart is beating fast or irregularly in your hands, stomach, or legs in this case. Anxiety, stress, too much caffeine, or a lack of sleep may sometimes contribute to this issue. Relax, keep away from caffeinated drinks, sleep well, and visit your family doctor if you feel potential disturbances.

Keep going dizzy and felling sick
Female | 35
Reasons for dizziness and nausea can also be divided into several categories. It could be due to water deficiency, not proper eating, or over-exercising. Get enough sleep, take care of your diet, and hydrate well. If dizziness and nausea would be the things that continue to occur, it would be better to consult a neurologist.

My mother aged 79 is on the following medication For morning - 1 tab levepsy 500, 1 tab calcuim and 1 tab metaprol 25 mg For night - 1 tab levepsy 500, 1 tab pregablin and 1 tab doxolin But by mistake today gave the night dose twice.... Will it effect her in any way....im worried
Female | 79
Accidentally taking two doses of her night medication could make her feel sleepy, unclear, or unbalanced. It's wise to watch over her and ensure she's alright. Remind her to relax and drink plenty of fluids. Should any odd signs appear, don't delay in seeking medical guidance. Most likely, she'll be okay but keep observing her condition for now.

Severe headaches that feel related to TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issues can be distressing. It's important to consult a dentist or a specialist in oral and maxillofacial medicine for proper evaluation and treatment. They can assess if TMJ dysfunction is causing your headaches and recommend appropriate therapies or referrals for further management.

I am 17 and I’ve had lumps in my head since I was a little girl, I sometimes have headaches, I just wanna know what they are
Female | 17
When your body battles illnesses, small lumps called lymph nodes help fight infections. At times, they become swollen on your head. These bean-shaped lumps could provoke headaches. You should visit a neurologist to find out more.

I feel liquid feeling in my head and i feel muscle cracking in my head when i move my head
Male | 37
If this is the case, it could be because of some problems with the muscles or joints around your neck. Such feelings are sometimes brought about by tightness or strain in a person’s neck. You can check whether this helps by doing light stretches for the neck and exercises. If they don’t go away or get worse after doing so then I’d recommend seeing a neurologist who will give you the right diagnosis on what needs to be done next.

Iv been having issues for about 3 days with the left side of my brain keep pulsating, it feels like a worm moving around the side of my brain, it doesn’t stay or move in one spot, when I press down on the area I feel move it just starts happening in another area on that side of the brain, I can’t sleep because of it, it wakes me up. I also feel like there’s something inside my ear, I also don’t know if this is related but since it’s happened my head has been itchy
Female | 26
What comes to mind is that you might be suffering from a migraine. Such attacks can bring an onslaught of forceful pulse sensations and light or sound intolerance. The sensation you feel in your ear, along with the itch you experience, might be associated with the migraine. To ease your symptoms, attempt to rest in a quiet, dark room, drink plenty of water, and steer clear of stress as well as certain foods that may trigger. If the symptoms remain or the situation worsens, go to a neurologist.

Mam, I dont know what I am going through, but I find it very difficult to remember the things which I learn previously (even though I revised multiple times) and my working memory is very much reduced , I cant solve complex maths and computer programs . During solving complex programs , I find it difficult to keep all things which I thought previously ( seconds ago) in my head to solve the problem. Even though I dedicate so much of time in studying , I could not match with my friends scores ( who score more than me by putting lesser effort than me ) and this makes more depressed and tired . Currently I have very bad lifestyle ( junk food, no exercise, no proper sleep) , but I have already tried following these steps and ended up in no results . I am a undergrad student , I need to resolve this to get placed . I need to know the exact reasons and disorder behind this and exact solutions to get back my old brain . This change happened to me before 5 years , currently I am 22 years old . During my school time , my brain was normal and properly functioning. I don’t know what exactly caused this change. Please help me in this , I am really hopeless here
Male | 22
Your concentration, memory, and cognitive functions are showing ominous symptoms of worry. Thus, it is likely that they are caused by stress, unhealthy lifestyles, sleep deprivation, and poor diet. Eating, sleeping, exercising, and managing stress should become a priority if you wish to enhance your brain function. You could also consider speaking with a psychiatrist or counselor for support. Implementing these interventions can enable you to control your brain operation as well as enhance your general well-being.
