Hi doc i have been recebtly diagnosed for having gallstones but now im itching uncontrollably and i have dark urine is that of concern?
Female | 26
Feeling an intense itch and noticing dark-colored urine raises red flags if you have gallstones. The dark urine likely stems from bile flow blockage in the liver. Meanwhile, the persistent itching sensation may result from bile salts seeping into your skin. These distressing symptoms could signal underlying issues with your liver or bile ducts. It's crucial to promptly seek medical attention from a gastroenterologist.

I have headache and stomach gas
Male | 29
Headaches accompanied by stomach discomfort can often stem from stress, dehydration, or dietary choices. It's crucial to stay hydrated and consume light, easily digestible foods. Over-the-counter pain relievers may provide temporary relief for your headache, while simethicone can help with gas. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule and managing stress through relaxation techniques can also be beneficial. However, if your symptoms persist or worsen, it's wise to consult a gastroenterologist for personalized advice and to rule out any underlying conditions.

Your pains and black stools sound concerning. Upper abdomen and back discomfort can signal gastritis or kidney issues. Black stools indicate internal bleeding, maybe stomach or intestines. It seems like you might have morning sickness symptoms, even if not pregnant. Feeling unwell throughout the day, aversion to some food, weakness, and crying without clear triggers are typical indications of this. Sometimes, it can result from hormonal adjustments or stress build-up in your body. Attempt consuming little portions frequently, keep yourself well hydrated and get plenty of sleep too. Incomplete bowel movement. The stool is either runny, balls or very sticky. Constant stomach pain especially when just woke up from a sleep/nap. It's been happening for over a year now. Sometimes can't evacuate at all even if I want. Green tea or hot drinks sometimes help and sometimes makes it worst

Inconsistent stool consistency, along with pain, can be linked to various factors, such as diet, hydration, stress, or gastrointestinal issues. It's great to hear that certain warm beverages offer some relief, but if symptoms persist, it’s essential to identify the underlying cause. Maintaining a balanced diet rich in fiber, staying hydrated, and managing stress can be helpful. However, given that this has been ongoing for over a year, I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation and tailored guidance.

I am inquiring about treatment options for a 26-year-old female patient experiencing constipation issues for the past 4 days. The patient has not had a bowel movement in 4 days and is experiencing discomfort and bloating. What are the possible causes and treatment options for this condition?
Male | 26
Constipation lasting several days can lead to discomfort and bloating. Common causes include insufficient fiber in the diet, dehydration, or changes in routine. To alleviate these symptoms, consider increasing fiber intake with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while ensuring adequate hydration. Regular physical activity can also help stimulate bowel movements. Over-the-counter remedies like stool softeners or mild laxatives may be effective as well. However, if you remain uncomfortable or if symptoms persist, it’s essential to consult a gastroenterologist for personalized advice and to rule out any underlying conditions.

Water keeps coming out of the mouth
Male | Yaran
It may be that excessive drooling is what you have. Certain medications, and how the muscles of your mouth work can cause this. To help with it, try swallowing more often and sitting up straight. Have a cloth nearby to wipe away any saliva that bothers you. If this does not stop soon, try talking to a doctor about why they think it is happening.

Male | 30
An anal fissure means there's a tear near your anus. It happens when you have hard, difficult bowel movements. Or it can occur with diarrhea. This will cause pain and burning when you use the bathroom. Eating foods with fiber helps make your stool softer and easier to pass. Drinking lots of water is good too. Warm baths can soothe the irritated area around your anus. If symptoms don't improve soon, see your gastroenterologist.

I am having bubbly pee and itching in whole body since a long time. I also have piles
Female | 45
You could be having a urinary tract infection as a result of a bubbly pee effect and an allergic reaction where your body is itching all over. The piles too might be a reason for some pain. Drinking plenty of water to water down the infection then using creams for anti-itch to your skin. To relieve the piles, try including fiber in your diet, and do not cut the effort when you go to the bathroom. If the symptoms are persistent or worsen, you should visit a gastroenterologist.
