You might feel chest pain, heartburn, and stomach ache. It could be acid rebound. Your body makes more acid when you stop taking PPIs fast. This causes symptoms like heartburn and stomach pain. To help, eat smaller meals. Avoid foods that trigger it. Use antacids if needed. But talk to a gastroenterologist before changing anything.

i was suffering with thyroid infection before after that my ear infection started. finally that its gone now im suffering from piles and anal fissures. also other symptoms include such as white patches in mouth. why this continuous health issues? do i have weakened immune system?
Female | 19
The presence of white patches in your mouth could indicate a condition like oral thrush, which may arise from various factors, including infections and immune system fluctuations. Piles and anal fissures can often occur due to constipation or straining during bowel movements. It's essential to maintain a balanced diet rich in fiber and stay hydrated. These ongoing issues don't necessarily mean your immune system is significantly weakened, but I encourage you to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized guidance.

I have a acid reflux problem around 2 months I already consult with doctors but acid reflux not going properly what should I do I get to much tension about this disease please help me
Male | 27
Acid reflux actually occurs when the stomach acids irritate the esophagus, which leads to symptoms like heartburn, chest pain, and bad taste. Some of the means to comfort it involve eating small portions, avoiding the foods that trigger it, and not sleeping immediately after eating. Raising your head during sleep is also a concern. Also, don't forget to reduce stress because it will also contribute to acid reflux.

Im a syphillis pateint and i want to remove my gallbladder stone. Is that surgery is safe for me
Female | 39
Syphilis is a sexual illness that spreads through contact. It causes sores, and rashes if untreated. Antibiotics cure it though. Gallbladder stones develop in that organ, causing pain. Surgery removes the stones safely, easing your troubles. But mention syphilis treatment before the surgery. That way, both issues get handled properly.

I have been facing abdominal pain from past 3 to 4 days . It usually goes away itself . Pain is mild but when i press my belly it hurts and this pain is move around the whole abdominal
Female | 22
The feeling of discomfort in the abdomen is normal. Small pains that shift their position may be caused by many things like gas, indigestion, or a little muscle strain. It is good news that the pain is going down without treatment, but if you have lasting and intense symptoms, it is better to go to a doctor. Observe a food diary and write down what you were doing when you first noticed you were on it. Being hydrated and using a heating pad might help you in getting better soon. Nonetheless, a healthcare provider should be your first option for a gasteroenterologist, especially if the pain gets worse or persists for longer than a week.

Doctor, My son have colostomy surgery. I want to know how much time to second OT for normal out stool process....?
Male | 2month 10days
After a colostomy operation, it may take some time for your son to have normal bowel movements. This is normal as the body needs time to adjust. It usually takes about a week for bowel movements to return. During this time, it’s important to stay hydrated, eat nutritious food, and follow the advice of healthcare professionals. If you notice any alarming symptoms such as severe pain, abdominal swelling, or no bowel movements for an extended period, consult your doctor immediately.

Male | 18
You've made a mistake - took 2 Agna 25000 tablets instead of 1. This is dangerous. Taking too much can cause side effects like stomach pain, nausea, and dizziness. Since Agna 25000 treats pancreatitis, overdosing can harm you. Contact a gastroenterologist or go to the hospital right away. They'll guide you on what to do next.

You might have an H. pylori infection. This bacteria can cause stomach pain, make your belly feel uncomfortable, and even cause a heavy head or cold sweats after meals. It can also lead to stomach ulcers. The good news is that it can be treated with a combination of antibiotics and acid-relief medication. Be sure to follow your doctor’s instructions and complete the full course of treatment to fully eliminate the bacteria. y.

I suddenly have a sharp pain in my upper right abdomen
Male | 35
Experiencing a sudden, sharp sensation in your upper right abdomen can be unsettling. This could result from various factors, such as digestive issues, muscle strain, or, in some cases, gallbladder problems. While it may resolve on its own, it's important to monitor other potential symptoms like nausea or fever. To ensure your well-being, consider resting, applying a warm compress, and avoiding heavy meals. However, if the discomfort persists or worsens, it’s vital to reach out to a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide tailored advice and necessary care for your condition. Remember, your health is a priority!

You may have symptoms of gastritis, which is the inflammation of the stomach lining. Stress, some drugs, and H. pylori infection are common causes of this. For relief, eat smaller portions but more frequently., avoid foods that are spicy or high in acid, and try to manage your stress. There’s also ginger tea that can help with nausea. When these signs won’t go away, seek a gastroenterologist's help.

Can I smoke weed 3 weeks after gallbladder removal?
Female | 26
After gallbladder surgery, it's important to focus on taking care of yourself. While it might be tempting, it's best to avoid using cannabis during your recovery. The compounds in marijuana could slow down your healing and make you feel worse. Instead, stay hydrated, eat a healthy diet, and follow your doctor's advice to recover well.
