Can I switch Primulot N timing to 8 hours?
I was prescribed primulot n to delay my period . The dosage was thrice a day . Instead of taking it every 8 hours , I mistakenly took it every 6 hours . Causing a 12 hour gap . I may have a slight spotting . Can I change my timings and switch to 8 hours

Don’t worry if your Primulot N dose timing was a little off. If you took it every 6 hours rather than 8, you might experience some slight spotting. The reason for this is that your hormone levels change. To solve the problem, take your medicine after every 8 hours as directed. This adjustment will help to normalize your hormone levels and prevent any bleeding.

I'm 16 and i have problem with period
Female | 16
Almost everybody experiences the normal changing menstrual cycle or occurrences like painful, too regular, or excessive flow that can be attributed to hormone changes, stress, or a condition involving disease. Other symptoms are severe cramps, heavy flow, and missing menses. Stress management, good nutrition, and getting regular exercise can help. But if the problem still exists, consult a gynecologist for proper guidance and opinion.

Can i take i pill in month 2 , 3 time ? Can i
Female | 19
The I pill is a type of emergency contraceptive that is only supposed to be used when necessary. Taking it often can lead to menstrual cycle issues, therefore, causing irregular bleeding, and hormonal imbalance. Regarding emergency contraception, the use of regular birth control methods should be the first option. If you often need emergency contraception, it may be best to consult a gynecologist about more effective long-term options.

Female | 33
It is normal to be worried about a late period. Missed periods can be caused by a multitude of things like stress, hormonal fluctuations, or lifestyle changes. A negative test at home means that you are not pregnant, but the test is not always right. To get a clear answer, my advice is to wait a few days and do another test or consult a gynecologist who can help you.

Okay. I wanted to know if it’s possible for a specific person to throwing off my ph balance and why is that. Like why would that be ? It’s only happened with him specifically and not anyone else .. why is that ? Is there something nh wrong with him ? Because I’m okay on my own it’s just that when we have sex I get a bv or a yeast infection or just feel irritated. I went to the doctor and they gave me and him medication to take and it still happens .. everytime … why ?
Female | 24
There can be factors contributing to changes in vaginal pH balance and the occurrence of vaginal infections. Sexual activity, particularly with a new partner, can sometimes disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina, leading to infections like bacterial vaginosis (BV) or yeast infections. This can happen due to the introduction of new bacteria or an alteration in the vaginal environment.

I used ocp pill 7 days after intercourse after 7(14) days I had light bleeding and brown bleeding b. Is this a sign of pregnancy?
Female | 18
The light and brown bleeding you had after swallowing an OCP pill a week later following intercourse is not indicative of pregnancy. It is one of the common side effects related to your body due to hormonal changes which you experience when utilizing pills. However, one is advised to seek advice from their gynecologist in case they have any doubt or fear.

I missed my period recently bt I didn’t had any sexual activities. Am I gonna be okay? When Can I possibly get my period again? Is there anything that I can do to get it Again?
Female | 18
It is quite normal to have a slip in the monthly cycle even if you didn’t get involved in any sexual activity. Stress, drastic weight changes, or changes in your daily schedule can affect your period. If the missed period is the only symptom you are experiencing, everything is probably okay. Your periods should return in a few weeks without any intervention. You need to take it easy and eat a balanced diet; also do some physical exercises and ensure to get enough sleep.

Menstrual cycles are also observed to be of different lengths, but a delay of more than two weeks maybe a cause for a visit to a gynecologists. It could be caused by hormonal disturbances, stress, weight fluctuations, or even existing medical conditions. Consult a gynaecologist for appropriate evaluation and handling.

Please opine how to proceed regarding the following Gyencologist MRI with Gadolinium report: Technique: MRI pelvis with IV contrast. Comparison: No previous similar study. Findings: The uterus is enlarged and retroverted, measuring 9.3 x 9 x 8.3 cm. there are 3 subserosal pedunculated fibroids, the largest arising from the anterior fundal region measuring 5.6 x 6.2 x 7.2 cm, the second lesion seen arising from the left lower uterine/cervix junction measuring 5.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm and the third fibroid seen at the right lower uterine/cervix junction measuring 4.7 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm. There are multiple intramural fibroids, around 6 lesions, the largest seen at the left fundal region measuring 2.7 x 2.7 x 2.7 cm and the second largest lesion seen at the right fundal region measuring 3 x 2.7 x 3.4 cm. These fibroids demonstrate low T2 signal intensity without diffusion restriction. Postcontrast demonstrate hypoenhancement relative to the myometrium. The endometrium measuring 0.8 cm in thickness and junctional zone measuring 0.7 cm in thickness. There is posterior fundal illdefined focal subserosal lesion measuring 4.4 x 2.8 x 2.8 cm with an illdefined margins and intermediate low T2 signal intensity in addition to internal subcentimeter tiny foci of T2 hyperintensities could represent adenomyoma. Both ovaries are unremarkable and containing a few follicles. No ascites or enlarged lymph nodes. The rectosigmoid junction is compressed by the enlarged uterus. Trace pelvic free fluid noted, likely physiologic. Urinary bladder is moderately compressed anteriorly.
Female | 47
Depending on the MRI with Gadolinium result, the patient seems to have a uterus overgrown with numerous fibroids. The fundal anterior area has the biggest fibroid. Intramural fibroids are also present. These fibroids show hypointense T2 signal intensity and hypovascularity on post-contrast images. Please visit a gynecologist for a proper evaluation of your reports

I had incomplete abortion so was in so much pain took ibuprofen for 15 days and tramadol 4-5 times and then underwent D&C on 19th august. I coughed up blood on 18th August. My uterus perforated and to stop the bleeding my artery is ligated. Now from a week i am coughing up blood several times a day, though my chest xray is clear.
Female | 26
Coughing up blood can be dangerous. It could be because of different reasons for example infections, lung problems, or even bleeding disorders. In your situation, with a doctor saying that you have a history of uterine perforation and ligation of an artery, there could be a possible continuity of bleeding inside you. Visit a gynecologist immediately for diagnosis and cure.

Female | 27
It's normal to feel anxious when you are late for your period, but don't panic because there are a variety of rational reasons behind this. Overworking, weight loss, hormone contradictions, and thyroid gland issues could all influence the menstruation cycle. Check if you prepare meals in a balanced way, get enough sleep, and avoid a lot of stress. If the problem persists, have a conversation with a gynecologist.

After having one time sex on the 5th day of period with the help of precaution (condom) taken if suddenly came to know that it got teared after removing out is there any chance of pregnancy ???
Male | 29
It's normal to be concerned about this matter. Fertilization can take place if the condom gets a hole in it during sex. Pregnancy detection may be through lack of period, morning sickness, and tender breasts. For the test, it is better to take a positive line. Preferably, on confirmation of pregnancy, meet a gynecologist to get the necessary information.
