Bleeding after Birth Control: White Discharge & Headache
I was taking birth control and I also had unprotected sex. After finishing my pack I bleed for 4 days . I have white discharge headache now
Social Obstetrics And Gynecologist
Answered on 26th Sept '24
You're uneasy about issues after using birth control and unprotected intimacy. Finishing your pack may trigger bleeding due to hormone changes. The white discharge and headache could relate to hormonal shifts too. Consider taking a break from birth control to see if issues calm down. However, if problems persist or worsen, it's wise to visit a gynecologist for proper assessment.

My hips inside pain sometimes and i fell pain outsides of vagina and i face drops after urine why☹️??no sticky or gelly only drops no pain .What do you think about my condition? and why is it am unmarried 23
Female | 23
You may be suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction. The issue can occur in people of different ages, not only married ones. The muscles around your hips and vagina may be stiff or weak, leading to the pain and drops after you pee. One way can be pelvic floor exercises or physical therapy. Keep your body fit and contact a gynecologist if you need more help.

Risk for fetal aneuploidy is low. What does this mean?
Female | 38
The "risk for fetal aneuploidy is low" means that the probability of the fetus having an abnormal number of chromosomes is considered to be low which is a positive indication.

Light bleeding in this early phase can be a little tricky. The symptoms you listed like headache, nausea, and fatigue can be common in either case. If you are in doubt or have some concerns, it is really a good way to contact your gynecologist for individualized advice and guidance. They will be with you to get to the bottom of it and find the best possible treatment for you.

Hi I was ovulating and had sex and took a plan b and still got my period could I be pregnant
Female | 22
If you took plan B after having sex during ovulation, got your period, and experienced no unusual symptoms, it's unlikely you're pregnant. Plan B reduces the chances of pregnancy by preventing or delaying ovulation. However no contraception is 100% effective, so taking a pregnancy test or consulting a gynecologist is a good idea if you're still concerned.

I am 3 weeks pregnant. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my previous pregnancies were sound and i had normal delivery both times. Last 3 days i am having vaginal bleeding with clots and tissue like discharge. The color of blood is dark red or red-brown type. And my midwife says today that my cervix is 1cm open. I have another blood test today to make sure if i am pregnant or not, but it’s positive again. Right now i am having some financial challenges. I am feeling helpless. Please help me with your advice.
Female | 31
Bleeding with clots and tissue-like discharge, plus your cervix being partly open, is worrying. This could mean a miscarriage is happening. It's important to visit a gynecologist to figure out what's going on.

I noticed that I was pregnant so I took the first abortion pills and still have the pregnancy symptoms and am feeling something inside my Belle
Female | 29
You should contact your gynecologist for a medical examination at your earliest convenience. Self-administration of the abortion pills could be incomplete and create several complications. The sensation that you have in your belly may be a result of an incomplete termination or some other medical disease.

I had my Periods on 25th March 2024 and Missed my periods on 25th april , had an unprotected intercourse on 30th April, and since then doing every possible thing to get periods like exercise and home remedies i had my exams in may so sleep was disturbed i tested on 20th may, 28th may 5th june 12th june all 4 tests were negative, still no periods. I left my gym on 12th april and have irregular periods but past 9 months were regular since i joined gym otherwise once year it used to get skipped. I had no symptoms of pregnancy till now just not able to sleep till 2 at night and tired all day sleepy and my haemoglobin level remains low like around 10 11 12. I experienced sticky white vaginal discharge too after 25th may and in june too but it was not in excess amount. Doctor what should i do now its 80 days late ?
Female | 23
Ovulation may be skipped for several health reasons other than being pregnant. Sending your body into your flight or fight mechanism, irregular exercise, and not enough iron in your blood can all cause your menstrual cycle to deviate. The slimy kind of discharge you are describing is also known as a normal variant. To help you get your period in order, relax, eat well, and go to a gynecologist if you feel unwell.

Periods ka second day hai aur heavy falling ho raha hai
Female | 18
It is a common thing that periods can be heavier on the second day, however, it can be more difficult to deal with that. It may be caused by the hormonal alterations or due to the presence of fibroids or polyps in the uterus. Be careful to count your sanitary pads per hour. If you change your pads so many times per day, just stay home and use one pad per hour. If it does not disappear, you have to go to a gynecologist who will be able to exclude any underlying issues.

Inam 16 years old I have observed a swelling in my vagina outer part today morning with little pain in it Please tell me the treatment
Female | 16
You may be experiencing a small swelling in your vaginal area along with some pain. This might be a blocked oil gland or a minor infection. Keep the area clean and dry – warm compresses can help reduce swelling and relieve discomfort. Avoid wearing tight clothes and use mild soap when washing. If the swelling doesn’t improve or gets worse, consult with a gynecologist for further advice.

Some things, such as imbalances in hormone levels, stress, and health problems in the background, may cause it that now the process to take the longest. First of all, you should take your health as a priority, so I highly recommend going to a gynecologist for a detailed examination. They will perform appropriate tests and propose the most suitable treatment for you. As for now, you must eat healthily and drink lots of fluids.

Recently i got a fever so i consulted a doctor while having madicines i fot a period actually my period is not that date after 4 days of periods suddenly it stopped again i having periods in my original date what moght be the reason
Female | 29
The effect of hormones on the body can sometimes lead to the irregularity of the periods because of having a fever. It is possible that the sudden stop and restart were due to this disruption. Be sure to be hydrated and also get enough rest. If this goes on or you have worries, it's always good to have a talk with your gynecologist.

I am 20 year old women. I didn't get my periods on date. It is delayed after completing 37-38 days. What should I do now. I have stress, mood swings etc. I am facing anger issues due to this. I have abnormal pain,Headache, leg pain etc
Female | 20
When your period is late, it’s quite normal to be worried, especially when associated with symptoms such as mood swings, headaches, and pain. Stress is one of the main influences on the regularity of the menstrual cycle. Top among the causes include changes in hormone levels, lifestyle, or underlying medical issues. I suggest that you closely observe the symptoms and menstrual cycles that you experience. Relaxation techniques, regular exercise, and a healthy diet are beneficial to your health. you may also consult a gynecologist.

I am on birth control. During the second week of the pack I lost it there's I started a new pack where I left off in the old pack. That would mean a an extra row would be available . When I reached the placebo week, I accidentally took one of the active pills that were left over but then acrrued on with the placebos. I'm supposed to get my period today however I haven't yet. I'm not sure what is happening
Female | 21
Missing active pills, or honing birth control can sometimes affect your cycle. It is, of course, a usual reaction to the before-mentioned delay. Occasionally, being given a few extra active pills can cause the latter. Nevertheless, continue to take your pills as instructed and your cycle will soon be in harmony with the new one. If it keeps being abnormal, you can contact your gynecologist for help.

Female | 17
You should visit an obstetrician/gynecologist today to determine what role the misoprostol will play in a pregnancy. It is essential to realize that the benefits of this drug may have very severe short and long-term negative impacts on both the mother and the fetus.

I am 22yrs. I am on Nur injection but I didn't go on my next appointment on the 30th of April. I was active on the 22nd of May what are the chances of being pregnant?
Female | 22
If you didn't go for your Nur injection on 30th April and then had intercourse on 22nd May then you might be pregnant. The signs could be missed periods, nausea, fatigue, or breast tenderness. Missing birth control can lead to pregnancy. My recommendation would be to take a home pregnancy test and contact your gynecologist for advice.

I m 12 weeks pregnant. My NT scan report is 0.39 CM.. Is it to be worried?
Female | 30
At 12 weeks of gestation, a normal NT scan report is expected to be 0.39 cm. The test for the measure of NT (nuchal thickness) is important for the estimation of the risk of chromosomal abnormalities. The specified amount of 0.39 cm is the normal level for this condition at this stage of pregnancy. Usually, if the measurement is normal like this, there is no need to worry. However, keep your regular prenatal check-ups as your gynecologist advises to get further confirmation that all is going well.
