If the brain tumor and swelling are diagnosed, you should follow the doctor’s advice, schedule surgery, and take herbal remedies that reduce brain swelling. Brain tumors may be malignant at one end of the spectrum and benign at the other, so you must seek the guidance of a neurologist who concentrates on this field.

I am a 31-year-old female with L3-L4 protrusion, disc herniation at the L4-L5 level causing severe narrowing of the spinal canal and sacralization of the L5 disc. I have consulted a couple of neurologists in Bangalore but it was not effective. Pain killers and muscle relaxants don't help to subside the pain. I am not able to sit as there is severe burning pain in my right leg. It has been 6 months and there has been no improvement, rather my health is deteriorating. I have tried physiotherapy as well but the pain seems to be increasing. Kindly help me with what treatment should I take up and from where?

I have been having severe head pain for over r years now which I have used different medications like pain relief, at times the head pain last for 3 days before I will feel little relief
Female | 26
Headaches that last long are tough. You might have migraines. They bring throbbing aches, noise/light bothers you, feeling nauseous. Stress, hormones, and foods can cause them. Try relaxing, sleep routine, note triggers. If it doesn't ease, see a doctor. Managing migraines takes effort but help is out there.

Bluish tounge colour Headache Constipation Bloating
Male | 40
Blue tongues, headaches, and constipation can be troublesome! But often, the causes are simple: not drinking enough water, eating unhealthy food, lack of movement, and stress. The solution is clear: drink plenty of water, eat fresh and natural foods, and stay active. If the issues persist, visit a neurologist for proper advice and treatment.

I have been having muscle twitches in my shoulders arms and legs Also tingling in my hands and feet. Muscle weakness in my right arm and leg also ankle pain and trouble with speech and I have had and EMG and NCS test which have come back abnormal
Female | 26
Having symptoms like muscle twitches, tingling in your hands and feet, leg weakness, ankle pain, and difficulty speaking could indicate a nerve disorder. Abnormal EMG and NCS test results suggest nerve problems, possibly due to conditions like peripheral neuropathy or nerve injury. It's important to follow up with your doctor for further tests and treatment, which may include specialized tests, medications, or physical therapy, depending on the cause.

My mother aged 79 is on the following medication For morning - 1 tab levepsy 500, 1 tab calcuim and 1 tab metaprol 25 mg For night - 1 tab levepsy 500, 1 tab pregablin and 1 tab doxolin But by mistake today gave the night dose twice.... Will it effect her in any way....im worried
Female | 79
Accidentally taking two doses of her night medication could make her feel sleepy, unclear, or unbalanced. It's wise to watch over her and ensure she's alright. Remind her to relax and drink plenty of fluids. Should any odd signs appear, don't delay in seeking medical guidance. Most likely, she'll be okay but keep observing her condition for now.

Hi i am a boy 18 years old and for the last 4 days i have a weird fzeling like when im trying to sleep like my whole body starts tingeling first i thougt i was nousseous but im not and now i was trying to sleep and ik got worse like really bad tingels like i was going trough my bed now im afraid to sleep
Male | 18
These tingling sensations may be caused by stress or anxiety, which are sometimes strange sensations that the body experiences, especially during relaxation or sleep. Try relaxation methods like deep breathing or gentle stretching before going to sleep. If the tingling lingers or worsens, see a neurologist to rule out the other possible causes and get the right treatment.

Female | 17
You may have Meniere's disease. This condition makes you feel dizzy when you stand up. It also gives you long, bad headaches. Your ears may ring and hurt. Meniere's disease happens when fluid builds up in your inner ear. To treat it, doctors give medicine to reduce dizziness. You may also need to change your lifestyle to manage the condition. It is best to see a neurologist.

Hello! I am 30 years old and i have vertigo around 2 years now. Always coming and goes but is back again after a month or two. When it comes i might have some attacks for a week or so. Now i had 9 vertigo's in 2 weeks and the last one just made me feel horrible. I have a headache and cant hear very well from both ears. I have noticed when i have sex with my partner after i finish i get vertigo 3 out of 10 times. I had made lots of check ups also gone to two doctors for my ears and also neurology and orthopedic saw my check ups and said they are fine. I dont know what else to do in order to stop it.
Male | 30
Those problems can be caused by numerous reasons that may include the inner ear, the vestibular system, or even stress. The good news is that previous investigations were negative for any significant underlying causes. Try keeping a symptom journal that will assist you in figuring out possible triggers. Besides, balance exercises and stress-reduction techniques might help. I suggest that you should consult a neurologist about various diagnostic options and treatments that suit your case the most.

Here is my story, Doctor. So, two years ago, I suddenly felt immense pain in my foot and got bedridden for almost three months. And then I rushed to a physician because at the time there was no neurologist in my city. The physician tested my vitamins and gave me some vitamins. It eventually got better and I was able to walk. I was overweight at that time and my physician told me that it's all because of weight. And then I lost almost 20 kilograms, but there was still feeling of socks. I don't feel any pain or anything, but I just feel like I'm wearing socks. Then after almost two years, I visited a neurologist with this and she tested my vitamins. She prescribed me vitamin D supplements since my vitamin D is at 12, but for one month. Nothing happened with this one month treatment. Then she did my NCV. She said my NCV reports are normal and has prescribed me some vitamins again. What do you think, how much time it would take to get completely cured?
Female | 21
Based on what you have told me, the peripheral disorder mentioned by the speaker is on track with peripheral nerve disease. In most cases, the feeling of socks on your feet could be easily attributed to peripheral neuropathy. You are lucky that your neurologist has done so many tests and that your vitamins and nerves are under control. Please continue to take the vitamins as per the doctor's prescription and remain patient. You will need some time to see improvements in your nerves. Also, keeping a check on your weight and living a healthy life will speed up your recovery while doing well.

Have a pulsating headache on both sides of my head since a month
Female | 18
Steady throbbing in your head for a month straight is a real downer. That might mean tension headaches. Stress, no sleep, eyes straining too much - those things can cause them. Take breaks from computer screens. Relax your body and mind. Sleep enough hours each night. Pain relievers you can buy without a prescription might help. Drink lots of water, too. But if the headaches won't go away, you should visit a neurologist to get checked out properly.

Female | 7
Your daughter's MRI revealed HIE, meaning her brain lacked oxygen during birth. This condition, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, can lead to seizures, feeding difficulties, and developmental delays. Therapies and medications may help her brain recover. Regular checkups will monitor her progress closely. Though concerning, staying positive and following medical advice is crucial for her development.

Cerebral atrophy impairs the patient\'s coordination to the extent that he/she loses the touch to walk and speak, and the manual dexterity needed to carry out simple tasks. The condition is demonstrated when the brain cells are gradually losing their size. The medication prescriptions your mother is taking might only produce short-term benefits, you must carry out the consultations with the responsible neurologists who are in charge of her health.

My child is suffering from severe headache everyday I had gone through all the checkups Even ct scan, mri But all reports are normal
Male | 11
If all the tests, like CT scans and MRIs, are normal, there might be different explanations for the headaches. Sometimes, stress, bad sleep, dehydration, and eye strain can be the causes of headaches. Tell your child to drink water, get enough sleep, deal with stress, and take a break from screens regularly. If the headaches continue, it's vital to consult a neurologist for more evaluation and guidance.

Female | 49
Having engorged veins in your neck and head can result from pressure or obstructions in the blood vessels. This may be caused by high blood pressure or blood flow issues. A fluid diet, nutritious food, and stress relief are all important aspects to consider. In case of swelling that persists or aggravates, see a neurologist for proper treatment.

Conditions like neuralgia and neuritis can cause symptoms such as pain, burning sensations, reduced appetite, constipation, sleep issues, dizziness, and headaches, which may be linked to nerve health. While medications can help, it’s equally important to stay in regular contact with a neurologist to monitor progress. This way, they can make timely adjustments to relieve symptoms effectively.

Female | 20
A spinal cord issue such as hers might result in weakness of stepping and the absence of the sense of touch. It occurs when the spinal cord sustains damage, generally from events such as a car ramming into it. Exercise makes muscles stronger, but full recovery might not be attained.
