Am I pregnant because I had my period a week ago and my cervix is growing and swollen
Female | 15
Typically, experiencing menstruation seven days prior indicates non-pregnancy. Hormonal fluctuations or infections may occasionally alter cervical sensations. These factors potentially contribute to swelling. Should concerns persist, consulting a gynecologist ensures thorough evaluation.

It's common TO have mixed feelings AFTER an abortion.. You're not alone.. Physical recovery can take a few weeks.. TAKE it easy, avoid sex, and limit exercise.. Expect bleeding AND cramping.. IF it's severe, see a doctor.. Emotionally, it's okay TO feel sadness or relief.. TALK TO a psychiatrist.

You should see a gynecologist for examination of your vaginal discharge. The discharge may vary in color, odor, and consistency depending on the underlying condition. The only way to establish the cause of this problem and prescribe appropriate treatment is a specialty diagnosis.

I am 39 years old female suffering from vaginitis for 1.5 years now every month I get it I tried all types of fungal medication recently I did a culture which shows candida another blood investigation is normal please I want to get rid of this suggest some medication or test
Female | 39
The itching, burning, and weird goop are signs of too much candida yeast in your private parts. Candida is a type of fungus that can grow out of control down there. Meds like fluconazole or clotrimazole can help stop the fungus from spreading. Sometimes, you need to take them for a long time to fully clear the infection. It is also key to keep that area clean and dry. If the problems stick around, you may need more tests. Ask your gynecologist about managing this issue.

Taking the emergency contraceptive pill can lead to slight bleeding. This is a normal side effect. The pill disrupts your menstrual cycle, causing light flow. Don't worry - the bleeding will stop by itself shortly. While emergency contraception works well at preventing pregnancy, impacts on your period are common. However, if bleeding gets very heavy or continues for an extended period, it's wise to consult a gynecologist.

Classic symptoms include redness, swelling, and burning with the Pimples. The best way to get rid of the pimples is to develop a regime of cleanliness, to wear light, and to use gentle soaps. Topical over-the-counter treatments are not written, but one has to be very careful in using them. When the lumps last, change, or bring severe discomfort, please consult a gynecologist.

Pregnancy problem pcod problem
Female | 23
Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) can make getting pregnant tricky. Irregular periods, weight gain, acne, and excessive hair growth are common signs. Hormone imbalances disrupting ovaries' function cause PCOD. A healthy diet, exercising regularly, and medication can help regulate hormones and boost fertility. Don't hesitate to consult a gynecologist for advice on managing PCOD and preparing for pregnancy.

Since 19th August I have been taking the contraceptive pill (brand Rigevidon) at the same time every day as close to 6pm. I experienced multiple diarrhoea cases in extreme liquid form on Monday 26th August in very early morning hours. This continued until night of Tuesday 27th August and as of today (28th August) my diarrhea is no longer as extreme liquid water from but still loose when I went. On Monday 26th August I took my pill at 6:15pm but soon had liquid diarrhea as mentioned. I had unprotected sex (pulled out 2 time) on 27th August (right after taking pill at 6pm exact) and had diarrhea shortly after intercourse and I am worried on effectiveness. I took emergency contraception within 24 hrs (Andalan postpil) but I had loose stool around 3 hours of taking and my BMI is 30.5. I then took my regular pill. Should I worry/ what to do?
Female | 22
Diarrhea certainly has the potential to disturb the working of your contraceptive pill. With diarrhea, the body may not completely take in the hormones of the pill, thus lowering its efficacy. This along with unprotected sex can definitely increase the chances of pregnancy. Having taken emergency contraception was a good move. Keep in mind that consistent pill use is important. If your loose stool still continuing, it would be a good idea to inform your gynecologist.

It's been 18 days since my period stopped. I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I don't want to have a baby so soon. What should I do now?
Female | 26
It’s completely understandable to feel uncertain in this situation. A missed menstrual cycle and a positive test can bring a mix of emotions. Early signs of pregnancy may include nausea, fatigue, or breast tenderness, but everybody responds differently. If you’re considering your options, the best step is to consult a gynecologist. They can offer personalized advice and discuss possible choices, including options for early pregnancy care or termination if that’s what you decide.

Irregular periods can occur due to various factors such as stress, hormonal changes, or lifestyle adjustments. A negative pregnancy test is reassuring but if your period does not arrive soon, it may be helpful to wait a few days and retest. It's also a good idea to monitor any other symptoms you may be experiencing. If irregularities persist or you feel concerned, consulting a gynecologist can give you some clarity and reassurance. Remember, keeping open communication with your doctor is important for your health.

I am 27 year old female with hypothyroid history but this time I have missed my periods and after after consulting a doctor I took regestrone and from past few weeks I am having hairfall... after taking medicine for three days two times daily I have noticed white or transparent varginal discharge yet no periods....
Female | 27
It's possible that the medication you took, Regestrone, could be causing the white or transparent vaginal discharge. Some side effects of Regestrone include changes in menstrual bleeding patterns, such as spotting or irregular bleeding. The medication can affect your hormone levels, which leads to hair loss.

Ma'am, I am suffering from endometriosis/chocolate cyst. I have been on Dienogest 2mg medicine for more than a month but still bleeding for 15 days straight. Neither heavy bleeding nor spotting, its something in between. Is there any permanent cure for chocolate cyst or pregnancy is the only solution? I am unmarried. Kindly enlighten me if there is any permanent solution for the same.
Female | 28
Yes with Dienogest it can take several months to be effective. If bleeding continues, speak with your doctor who may perform additional tests or adjust your medications. Doctors can recommend surgery in severe cases or when other treatments have not been effective. Talk to your gynecologist beacuse pregnancy is not a permanent solution for endometriosis or chocolate cysts.

Im 22 year female had sexual intercourse and my periods skipped for 18 days can you prescribe a medication
Female | 22
Delayed periods may be due to several reasons. Stress, weight fluctuations, and hormonal imbalances might be the culprits. Yet, late periods are mostly experienced during pregnancy. It's, therefore, best to wait for some time to see if it comes during the period. If your period still does not come, you may want to go for a pregnancy test to make sure that it is not the case. If you are not pregnant and your period is still delayed, see a gynecologist for further consultation.

my periods delayed actually I neeed to get it on 12 December but till now I didn't get
Female | 28
It's fairly typical for menstrual cycles to have irregularities every so often, and several things can delay them, such as stress, hormonal changes, diet or changes in exercise routine. Feelings of pain in the breast, mood swings, or cramping can also occur along these lines. To ensure that you remain in harmony, eat a balanced diet, manage stress, and get enough sleep. Nevertheless, if your period has not yet come or if you have any symptoms which should not be there, I would recommend you to consult a gynecologist.

Bleeding after intimacy might seem alarming, yet often has simple causes like cervical sensitivity. Still, your well-being comes first. Promptly inform your gynecologist about any post-coital bleeding. They'll investigate potential causes and advise next steps, ensuring you and baby's safety.

I had unprotected sex 4 days ago, I took ipill immediately, is there any chance to get pregnant?
Female | 22
Taking emergency contraception like the I-pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse significantly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy. Since you took it promptly, your risk is low. Common side effects may include nausea, fatigue, or a change in your next menstrual cycle. However, if your period is delayed by more than a week, consider taking a pregnancy test. Discussing any concerns with a gynecologist for tailored advice and support is always wise. They can guide you through your options and ensure your reproductive health remains intact.
