Why is my son having recurring nosebleeds?
My son has had three nosebleeds today, two last week (both in the same day). I don't believe he's had a head injury on either occasion. He gets them every now and again but not this regular. He is not a nose picker.

Your son's nosebleeds seem concerning. Nosebleeds occur for many reasons. Dryness inside the nose may crack, and bleed. Allergies or temperature changes too. Ensure he drinks plenty of water for moist nasal passages. If bleeding persists, consult a pediatrician. Don't hesitate to get it checked. Frequent nosebleeds warrant medical attention. Minor ones may resolve independently. But observing is crucial, especially if heavy.

My daughter is 4 years old and still she is not talking properly. She sometimes talks but nobody understands what she speaks. It feels as if she is talking in some other language. Sometimes she speaks to herself. She repeats whatever she watches in the mobile or TV. What do you think could be the problem? I don’t think she has hearing problem then why is she not growing like regular kids. What do you think her condition is? Whom should I consult?
Female | 3
Your daughter may have a speech delay. There could be different reasons for this. Sometimes the mouth muscles are still too weak. In other cases, the problem may be with hearing or some other condition underneath. It’s good to see a speech therapist. My son drink 30ml of Nyquil instead of 15ml. He is 8yr old. weight 44lb and 4ft height.
Male | 8
Medicine is crucial but you must be extremely careful with doses. If your child takes too much, it can make them sick. Your son drank double the recommended Nyquil amount. He will likely feel drowsy, dizzy, and have an upset stomach or headache. The overdose happened because the medicine was too strong for his body size. Give him water right away. Watch him carefully for other symptoms. If he seems unwell, don't hesitate to get medical help.

Male | 7 months
Colds are quite common in infants as their immune systems develop. A runny or stuffy nose is the primary symptom. The recurrence stems from his immature immunity against germs. To prevent future colds, maintain a hygienic environment, practice frequent handwashing, and limit exposure to ill individuals. Nutritious dietary intake and adequate rest can bolster his immunity. However, if the cold persists or concerning symptoms arise, consult a pediatrician.

My son is 3 years 7 months old. He is having ADHD and delayed speech problem. Last month he suffered from hand foot mouth infection but he recovered in few days. After that infection, his nature has changed a lot. He cries without any reason. When he gets up in the morning he cry for almost an hour. In day time also he starts crying at any time and we are unable to understand any reason for that. We try to do all the things which he likes but he only stops crying after 1 to 2 hours. The same problem happens at night also. On some days he wake up at 3-4 am and starts crying and after an hour he stops and then go for sleep. As he does not speak anything we do not understand what problem he is facing. He is also undergoing therapies for ADHD and speech delay. But at therapy centre also he keeps on crying. He was moody earlier also but after HFM infection this crying problem has increased a lot. Pls guide.

It sounds like your son's recent changes in behavior might be linked to his recovery from the hand, foot, and mouth infection. Such infections can sometimes cause lingering discomfort or changes in behavior. Given his ADHD and speech delay, it is crucial to consult with his pediatrician and a child psychiatrist to evaluate any underlying issues. They can provide a thorough assessment and tailor interventions to help manage his symptoms.

Weakness and weight loss in her mean that she is not doing well. My 14 month old son developed a red nipple last Saturday. Since then the redness has gone down. However still a noticable difference from the other nipple. It is also going inverted and coming back out. He was not born with inverted nipples.
Male | 14 month
It is great that differences have been spotted in your son's nipple. This could be due to moments of redness and inversions whenever irritations or infections set in. It is quite necessary to stick around. If the condition persists or grows more severe, the best alternative would be to seek further evaluation and advice from a pediatrician.
