Besides, recurring manifestations such as nausea, lost periods, and breast tenderness should be closely observed. These are the outcomes of certain hormonal modifications that might occur at various stages of the pregnancy process. It is necessary to maintain a proper diet, sustain physical strength, and reduce stress during this period. Besides regular prenatal care, the health of both you and your baby must be monitored. In case you have any suggestions on any specific issues or you experience unusual symptoms, I propose that you visit a gynecologist for the best way forward. Your health is utmost and help is near.

I began taking the contraceptive pill Hana on 8th June before my period has started and wanted to know how long before I am protected

Female | 31

When you start taking the contraceptive pill, there’s something you should know: it won’t protect you right away. It takes about seven days to start working. While you’re waiting for it to kick in, make sure to use an extra form of protection such as condoms so that pregnancy doesn’t occur. Some people may get mild side effects like headaches or feeling sick when they first try this type of birth control but these usually go away with time if taken properly.

I noticed that I was pregnant so I took the first abortion pills and still have the pregnancy symptoms and am feeling something inside my Belle

Female | 29

You should contact your gynecologist for a medical examination at your earliest convenience. Self-administration of the abortion pills could be incomplete and create several complications. The sensation that you have in your belly may be a result of an incomplete termination or some other medical disease.

I recently had sex 6 days before my ovulating day, a day before my fertile window. I took a take action pill the day after having sex the earliest i could. I took it at about 9 A.M. fast forward the day after ovulation, I got up and woke up like normal and once I stood up I had dark-red kind of watery blood. At first i thought it was my period, but its watery and my periods are usually thicker and last about 5-7 days. I am still lightly bleeding now, still a dark-red watery-like blood the day after and im wondering if im pregnant or if im just paranoid. I also had cramping, like i usuallt do on my periods. I searched it up and it also said i could just be on my period, and because of the pill, it makes your period lighter/thicker, shorter, etc. Please help.

Emergency contraceptive pills, like the one you took.. can cause changes in the menstrual cycle including lighter or irregular bleeding. The bleeding you are experiencing could be due to the pill or your regular period. It's important to take a pregnancy test if you have concerns about pregnancy.
