What is the best treatment for cerebral atrophy symptoms?

What is the accurate treatment for cerebral atrophy @symptoms problem in walking, voice clarity, hand holding capacity nil

1 Answer

Answered on 12th July '24

If a person have difficulties in walking, speaking clearly, and holding things, he/she may have cerebral atrophy. This happens when the brain cells decrease in size or numbers, and thus the communication of the neural network is disrupted. The solution for these symptoms is beneficial to both physical therapy for walking rehabilitation, speech therapy to correct the errors of speech, and occupational therapy for acquiring a stronger hand.  It's crucial to work with a neurologist to design an accurate treatment plan.

i am 20 years old female i am having twitching on left brain above ear and its been 3 days its happening

Female | 20

Twitching can be attributed to a lot of different things such as stress, being overworked, or too much coffee. At other times, the cause may be the nerve ability of the body. Make sure you sleep, eat healthfully, and drink enough water. You may wish to tell your medical provider that you are sleeping badly for this issue to be listed on your consultation form and assessed appropriately.

April 12,2023 I was showering when I finish I heard a sound in my head like pipes falling. Then I notice I couldn't hear in my left ear and I started hear a loud buzzing sound. This was a weekend and I couldn't see my doctor until Monday. He had me take a ct scan to rule out a stroke. I then was given a referral to see an ENT . I was told by the ENT that I was deaf in my left ear and a hearing aid wouldn't help me and come back in a month. I became so angry with this person because he didn't care about my health issue. I feel like I am on this journey alone. Through my research, I found there is no cure for sudden hearing loss. However it appears stem cells offer promise for a cure. When do you think there may be a cure or which country is ahead of the curve for a cure.

Male | 76

Sudden hearing loss, like what you've described, is known as sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Common symptoms include hearing a loud buzzing sound and feeling as though your ear is blocked. The exact cause isn't always clear, but it may be related to infections or blood circulation issues in the ear. While there is no known cure, researchers in countries like Japan are exploring stem cell treatments as a potential future option. It's important to prioritize your health and stay in regular contact with your doctor.

18F, 44 Kg (97 lbs.), 4'11, Asian, South Asia In March, I blacked out while brushing my teeth. I rushed to the hospital, and the doctor said it could have been a seizure. Since then, I’ve been dealing with the following symptoms: Blacked out while brushing my teeth in March Ongoing headaches (cervicogenic- earlier, now only head aches) Facial numbness that started around the same time Doctor suspected the headaches were due to acid reflux (medicated for it) Had an MRI for seizure protocol (clear results) Skull dents appeared out of nowhere and are getting worse over time Blood pressure fluctuations, sometimes dropping unexpectedly Headaches continue intermittently I don’t drink milk but have been taking Vitamin D supplements due to possible deficiency (recommended by doc) I’m wondering if this could be related to calcium or Vitamin D deficiency, or if it might point to something else. I'm really concerned about the skull dents, and I’m not sure if these symptoms could indicate something serious

Female | 41

These symptoms together with unintentional loss of weight are worrisome. This could happen for many reasons including pulled muscles or problems with the cervical spine but it could also be something more serious so I would advise seeking medical attention soon so you can find out what is wrong before starting any treatment plan.

I’m taking one time dosage of 200mg of doxycycline as pep for possible exposure to sti. Iv heard that doxycycline causes cranial hypertension How likely is that to happen to me from one dosage

Male | 26

It is not very likely to get intracranial high blood pressure from a single 200mg dose of doxycycline. Intracranial high blood pressure is an uncommon side effect that may lead to headaches, changes in vision, and nausea. Adequate hydration can help in its prevention. Don’t forget to follow your provider’s instructions when taking this medicine and inform them about any worries you might have.

I am Ibrahim, 32 years old. I fell at work and completely lost consciousness

Male | 32

Losing consciousness can occur when the brain receives insufficient oxygen or blood supply. Perhaps you sustained a head injury after falling. Signs may include feeling lightheaded, weak, or even disoriented just before losing consciousness. You should see a doctor who will examine you and tell you what to do so you do not put yourself in any danger.
