For pain relief in degenerative disc disease,
As per alternative medicine therapy, pain is due to imbalance in the body I.e. acid/ alkali imbalance or yin or yang imbalance
So first step is to give balancing acupuncture points and then target points, when 50% pain reduction is achieved, moxibustion, cupping, electro stimulation and seed therapy, diet tips and physical exercise is given

Degenerative disc disease is a common age related low back problem. It can be a significant cause of low back pain. The best treatment for it is non-operative. Back strengthening to stabilize the spine and application of topical pain measures should be tried first.

Dr, In 2014 I had a scooty accident and broke my left hand bone just above my elbow,at that time from the nearest hospital I had the surgery and got treated with metal plates supporting the bone and from then on I couldn't move my hand freely through the elbow. So, now can I here take out metal plate and treat my left hand bone with your help. Hope to get an answer. Thankyou!
Female | 42
If you have metal plates supporting your left hand bone just above your elbow due to a past accident, removing them should be considered carefully. Whether they can be removed depends on factors like how well your bone has healed and your range of motion. Pls consult your orthopedic surgeon if required.

I was about going to sleep at night when I started feeling some twitching around my eyes coupled with some electric-like shocks on my face. When I slept and woke up, I discovered it had increased. My face looked swollen, and my mouth was somehow tight. I couldn't whistle with it or shape it any way I wanted to. I couldn't open it wide. I couldn't close my eyes without pain and It was blinking even when I closed it and it was like a stress to my nose when I closed one of the eye or both. All of these relieved me in two days time. And my eyes could close better without pressure and my mouth functions was back to normal. But after some days I discovered that my posture has changed and my left hip bone is tight. My left leg has some rotation making it look like it's tight. My glute seems tight and my left hip look like it's forward, making my Left leg to appear longer and my walking posture to change. I can run, I can shoot with my both legs. Just that I'm having tighness in my left hip or pelvis. This has made me to walk in a different manner. Pls what can I do?

You may have experienced a condition called Bell's Palsy, which causes facial muscle weakness and can affect your posture. Bell's Palsy is usually due to nerve inflammation that controls facial muscles, leading to symptoms like twitching, facial swelling, and difficulty closing your eyes or moving your mouth. While most cases heal on their own, it's important to monitor any new symptoms. Initially, your posture changes and tightness in your left hip were the main concerns. Stretching exercises can help improve your range of motion and correct your posture. Consulting a physiotherapist or orthopedist can help you manage these symptoms professionally.

Hi Ian 23 and back pain on my left side
Male | 23
Back pain can occur for several reasons like muscle strain from improper posture or lifting heavy things wrong. Other times it can be a symptom of a more serious problem. Try using hot or cold packs on the area, gentle stretching, and taking it easy for a bit first. If the pain persists or gets worse, it's wise to get it checked by an orthopedist to find out what's the matter.

Such pain may happen due to incorrect posture, misuse of heavy objects lifting, or sitting in one place for a long time. You can try some gentle stretches, ice or heat packs, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers if necessary to alleviate the pain. Don't forget to take breaks and move your body to prevent stiffness. But if the pain doesn't diminish or worsen, getting further guidance from an orthopedist is prudent.
