Rheumatoid factor arthritis problem
Female | 25
Your immune system protects you, but sometimes it mistakes friend for foe. That's what happens in rheumatoid arthritis—immune cells attack your joints instead of defending them. Mornings can be stiff and painful as joints swell. Medications can ease the pain and slow joint damage, but staying active and eating well are just as important in managing this condition.

Hi, I just got my results back from a lumbar MRI and it says I have buldging associated with anular tear discs L4 and L5. And deshidrated discs L4 and L5. What does this mean? Will I get better without surgery? Will I ever get back to normal? Will I ever be able to go back to the gym and cycling? Right now I feel tight and Im in pain no matter the position, it's hard to do normal day activities and to walk kinda long distances, I can't lift anything not even light things and can't bend forward. I WILL take the results to the doctor once I get my paycheck but I wanna get a 2nd opinion in the meantime. Thanks

If you have bulging or herniated discs in your lower back, it can cause pain and stiffness. This is usually due to aging, general “wear and tear,” or injury. Most of these problems can improve with physical therapy, rest, and pain medicine. Surgery may be needed in some cases. Visit an orthopedist to find out the treatment options.

Yes broken leg and leg Sergery how to get impvmnt
Male | 53
If you have suffered from a broken leg and have undergone surgery to mend it, the improvement progress can be quite slow. Post-surgery, pain, swelling, and limited mobility are common symptoms that can be expected. Follow your doctor's instructions to the letter to get better - that is, do physical therapy exercises, rest your leg if needed, and take any drugs that are prescribed. You will soon start feeling better and can move easily, but you should be patient and give it time.

Male | 22
Scoliosis is a condition that causes the spine to bend sideways. As a result, the nerves may be compressed, and in some cases, the pain may be ejected. The main symptoms include pain, which may also move to the neck area. The best solution is to consult a spine specialist who can offer exercises or other treatments to assist your pain and discomfort.

I’m 29 years old and I have my right arm started off about a month With just my ring finger, in the morning, it would be hard to open. My hands, felt like pulling from the wrist down to my ring finger, and then up to my elbow. now I have constant pain in my wrist leading up to my Ring finger to lift anything pick up anything or grip anything without pain
Female | 49
Carpal tunnel syndrome seems to be your interpretation. A squashed nerve in your wrist, which is accompanied by pain, weakness, and tingling in your hand and fingers, is the cause of this problem. It can be due to overstretching your wrist, as one uses a computer or a phone for a long time. As an alternate solution, you could try wearing a wrist splint, doing hand stretches, and taking breaks from activities that involve overextending your wrist. If the pain persists, see an orthopedist for more advice.

Hello, I fell on some stairs yesterday and landed straight on my hip. I was able to get up and walk, but the pain became really bad after about 30 minutes. I couldn’t and still can’t put any weight on my left fod. My hip is not swollen and not bruised. I have been taking pain meds but it is not helping. What should I do
Female | 22
It's possible that you may have sustained an injury to your hip or surrounding area. Seek medical attention from an orthopedic in this situation, especially if the pain is severe and you are unable to bear weight on your left foot.

I am 28 years old male and I have only right side lower back pain for more than one week
Male | 28
The possible cause could be straining the muscles or having a bad posture due to sitting in one position for too long. Furthermore, back pain may also be an indication of kidney problems. To alleviate your condition drink plenty of water and refrain from engaging in strenuous activities. Another way is applying heat pads as well as doing some gentle stretches. However, if the situation persists seeking medical attention from an orthopedist is important for diagnosis and treatment planning.

These could be caused by different reasons, like muscle strain, nerve issues, or arthritis. To ensure that the right course of treatment is provided, it is necessary to seek a thorough examination by an orthopedist who would also be able to recommend the right physical therapy, medications, or other therapies that are tailored to suit your specific condition. It is important to keep in mind that addressing the underlying cause of your symptoms is the key to effective management.

4th PP base fracture and 5th MC dislocation L hand
Male | 22
You likely experienced a fracture in your 4th finger and dislocation of the 5th. Breaks and joint misalignments can occur due to accidents or falls. Pain, swelling, restricted movement: these symptoms indicate potential issues. Treatment often involves splints or casts to immobilize affected areas during healing. Though concerning initially, proper care should facilitate full recovery over time.

पैर पर खीचना महसूस होना तथा सुन होना महसूस जैसा लगना
Male | 24
Experiencing a sensation of 'pulling' in your leg is like your nerves telling you something is wrong. This could be due to nerve damage or excessive strain. Identifying any damage or muscle stretching that might be causing these sensations is important. Take a break, use ice for swelling, and gently stretch the area. If there's no improvement, consult an orthopedist for a closer examination.

why do the bottom of my feet hurt actually painful aftera work day
Male | 66
After a long day at work, the foot soles that suffer the most are an issue for many people. One of the reasons could be having to stand or walk for a long time, wearing uncomfortable shoes, or not having time to rest your feet. It can be like hurting or having a sore. Some of the ways that may offer relief are: soaking your feet in warm water, massaging them, or using supportive shoes might be the solutions. Not only will it make your feet feel better, but it will also help with the pain.

Hi I have disability. I had fall yesterday miss last 3 step on double bus and today last hour press wrists and home arm just swallow. Should get checked out
Female | 30
You might have injured the wrists and arms. When your arms appear swollen, you could likely be suffering either from sprains or strains. You might end up experiencing symptoms such as pain, swellings, or the inability to move without extreme difficulties. To reduce these swellings therefore, it is advisable that you use ice bags while at the same time raising both of your arms. You should visit an orthopedist for further clarification.

I got recently surgery for my femur hip on right side I'm in bed rest now but my left hip is also hurting from few days don't know why is this a serious condition
Female | Aruna
This can be one of the situations, when the other hip might feel some pain because it takes over the bigger role of supporting your body while your operation-induced leg is at rest. Don't forget about changing positions and doing small exercises for your left hip to avoid stiffness. Nonetheless, if the severity of the pain grows or the situation doesn't vanish, connect with your orthopedist.

How to cope up sciatica ,that have been facing 3 months?
Male | 34
Did you consult with neurologist or orthopedist? If not then please do that. They can diagnose the underlying cause of the sciatica and provide appropriate treatment. Some self-care measures such as taking over-the-counter pain relievers, gentle stretching, and hot/cold compresses may also help to get rid of the symptoms. However, these measures should only be used under the guidance of a doctor.

Lower back pain mainly in spine near the flank area. Pain not present all time. Pain occurred after waking up from bed at any time.
Male | 24
Sore muscles can be the root of this problem due to, for example, a bad sleeping posture. It might also be the spine itself that is giving you problems. Help your body to recuperate from the injury by avoiding movements that make it worse, using a heating pad or ice pack, and trying gentle stretches for the back. If the pain persists or you think you are feeling worse, it is a good idea to consult an orthopedist.

My friend Billie Jo gibbons she has trouble with her feet
Female | 25
Plantar fasciitis is one of the common conditions for this. It can cause pain at the bottom of the feet, particularly in the morning. It is a condition caused when tissue that connects the heel to the toes gets strained. Billie Jo should go for calf stretches and pick supportive shoes. Ice packs are also a good way to shrink the swelling.
