Irregular menstrual cycles can result from various factors such as stress, hormonal changes, diet, or lifestyle shifts. It’s not uncommon for periods to change in timing or duration. Although occasional variations may not be concerning, tracking these changes is important. Ensure you maintain a balanced diet, manage stress, and get adequate sleep. If you notice persistent irregularities or other symptoms, it would be wise to consult a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation.

I am a 18 year old student, i had missed periods for around two months then later i got my periods but its been over a week and i still have over-bleeding.
Female | 18
You probably have menorrhagia, which means heavy or prolonged menstrual periods, a medical condition. It could happen for a variety of reasons, these include hormonal imbalances of the body, the presence of uterine fibroids, or even some medications. Symptoms involve heavy bleeding for more than a week, passing clots of blood, and feeling tired from blood loss. To deal with this, you need to drink plenty of watery liquids, lie down, and consume iron-rich foods to prevent anemia. If this persists, see a gynecologist to find out the probable causes and solutions.

I'm 29 year old I'm 3 months pregnant now.. i test NT scan in that scan NT value 4.21 mm any problem in that
Female | 29
An NT measurement of 4.21 mm could signal increased chances of conditions like Down syndrome. Don't get too stressed yet, though. More tests can provide clearer insights. Your gynecologist might suggest extra screenings, like blood work or amniocentesis, to better assess things.

Hi there, I'm a 27 year old woman, and I've been experiencing an unusual change in my menstrual cycle recently. Instead of the usual one period per month, I've been having 3 periods in a month. It's been a bit concerning, and I was wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar or if there's any insight into what might be causing this. I'm hoping to find some advice or information on how to address this issue.
Female | 27
Frequent periods can be due to various factors like hormonal changes, stress, or certain health conditions. Treatments depend on the cause and may include hormonal birth control or hormone-regulating medication. Please consult a gynecologist for personalized advice.

Endometrium test Dark brown tissue measure ment 0.8m
Female | 30
This could suggest that old blood is present in the uterus, which may result in a woman experiencing irregular periods or pelvic pain. Irregular periods are a common outcome of the disease and it is always due to hormonal disorders. Hormonal therapy (hormone therapy) that your gynecologist can give you to treat PM is how you can get your periods under control and ease your discomfort.

My tubectomy was done three years ago. Do I still have to use contraceptive methods?
Female | 45
A tubectomy is a permanent type of birth control that obstructs the fallopian tubes to hinder the pregnancy process. Despite its high rating, it is not completely foolproof; there is still a small risk of getting pregnant. In case of any signs like missed periods or abnormal bleeding, be advised to consult a gynecologist so that a possible issue may be excluded.

I have had long light period that lasted for three weeks and spotting after and now with cervic mucus and a burning sensation in lower abdomen. A few months ago my blood test showed higher LH levels than FSH. What could it be please?
Female | 40
You may have a hormone imbalance, meaning your hormone levels aren't in the right ratio. This can affect your menstrual cycle, leading to spotting between periods, unusual cervical mucus, and lower abdominal pain. A blood test showing higher LH levels compared to FSH also suggests an imbalance. It's important to see a doctor for a full check-up. They can examine you and discuss treatment options, which may include medication or lifestyle changes to manage the imbalance effectively.

Pregnancy test one dark line between c and t
Female | 27
If there is one dark line between C and T on the test, it may mean a negative result since T indicates positive. But it should be taken into consideration that wrong tests may appear and more test is required. If you are concerned about your pregnancy condition, it is best to see a doctor

After marriage I have irregular periods and after August I haven't had my period for 3 months so my gynecologist gave me tablets for periods so I had my period in a week After that he gave progluterol metaformin tablets for get pregnancy So I have been using it for 2 months My last period was on December 27th ended After that, when we were waiting to conceive, January 18th was I had my period again We had first intercourse on the 3rd of February after my period Today is February 22 so I took a pregnancy test today morning but I got a negative result? Why?
Female | 23
A negative test doesn't mean there's trouble; it might indicate testing too soon before hormones rise detectably. Patience and perseverance are advised. Maintain an optimistic outlook, follow healthy habits, and persist in trying. If concerns persist after several months, consulting your gynecologist can provide reassurance or identify any issues needing attention.

I missed my menstrual period last date of periods start 27 April...I am not on any medication.
Female | 26
It is normal to miss a period occasionally. Lots of things such as stress, weight changes, or too much exercise can do this; however, if you start feeling unwell in any way – especially if it is accompanied by dizziness – now would be a good time to see your gynecologist about things like that.

If your partner got her period after having sex, the chances of pregnancy are generally low. However, if you're worried or unsure, it's always a good idea to consult a gynecologist to discuss the situation in detail and get professional advice.

I m suffering from yeast infection which is troubling me with itching, soreness and white discharge. Please help
Female | 31
Yeast infection is quite common and can cause itching, soreness, and white discharge in your private parts which can make you feel uncomfortable. It usually occurs due to an imbalance of the yeast in the body. This may be because of things like antibiotics, a weak immune system, or wearing tight clothes. To feel better, try over-the-counter antifungal creams or pessaries. You should also keep the area clean and dry, wear cotton underwear, and avoid perfumed products. If your symptoms don’t improve after this, visit a gynecologist for more advice.

I have not gotten my periods since last two months so i took pregnancy test but it also came negative now I'm not understanding what to do
Female | 21
Your periods stopped coming, you're worried. There could be various causes: stress, weight changes, and hormone imbalance. Taking a pregnancy test is wise. Still, sometimes it gives a "not pregnant" result even when you are expecting. If you miss more periods, it's better to see a gynecologist. They'll examine you to identify the underlying issue. Then, they can recommend a suitable solution tailored to your circumstances.

I’m 24 years female for 2 days I’ve unbearable itching in my vagina area but I can’t see anything like yeast there
Female | 24
You may have an infection caused by a yeast infection despite not noticing any visual difference. Yeast can indeed be very elusive, for sure! Even apart from this, itchiness can be a result of things like soap-induced irritation or wearing very tight clothes. To do this, make sure you only wear comfortable cotton panties and stay away from any sweetly scented products in that area. Drinking lots of water can help too. However, if the itching still persists, you can consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

Female | 23
A menstrual period of only twenty-four hours might be caused by various things like stress, hormonal imbalances, large weight shifts, or even dietary changes. Although irregularities are not so uncommon, if the modification fits the description of long-term or you have symptoms such as pain or unusual discharge that accompany it, a gynecologist is the right person to go to.

Mild fluid noted within endometrial cannel
Female | 38
A small fluid build-up in the endometrial canal might stem from hormones or growths called polyps. Irregular periods or pelvic pain could signal this condition. Ultrasound imaging helps pinpoint the underlying cause. Treatment options vary based on the specific issue identified. Maybe your gynecologist prescribes hormonal medication or a minor procedure to address the problem.

Female | 27
A blighted ovum is a type of miscarriage. It means an egg got fertilized but didn't develop correctly. You might have vaginal bleeding and cramps. Sometimes, a doctor will need to do a procedure called D&C. This removes any remaining tissue from your uterus. Make sure to follow up with your gynecologist. They can explain the best next steps for you.

I have missed my periods for 4th day which are always regular . I had an unprotected sex with my partner also. Today I got thick a little stick vaginal discharge also ... does it mean that I am pregnant
Female | 17
A missing period, having unprotected sex, and thick vaginal discharge could mean pregnancy. Other common symptoms include sore breasts, tiredness, and needing to pee often. But these signs don't always mean pregnancy. It's best to take a pregnancy test to know for sure. If positive, see a gynecologist for advice.

I have sex 2 months ago...last month I got my period but this month it delayed..is pregnancy possible??
Female | 22
There is a possibility that you can be pregnant if you had unprotected sex two months ago, even though you got your period last month. Some of the pregnancy signs are nausea, tiredness, and breast tenderness. Stress or hormonal changes can also be the reason for a period of delay. If you want to be sure, the home pregnancy test is the solution.

Hello, I am 18 years old my menstrual cycle is normal but every month on the 1st day of my periods I get horrible unbareable cramps,,, I cry out so loud It's so painful for me I even have nausea chills and diaharrea sensation at a time during cramps my cramps lasts for 3-4 hrs only on 1st day of my periods....I should complosarily take painkillers for it....plz priscribe me with best how long should I be facing this
Female | 18
You might be experiencing painful periods, also called dysmenorrhea. The cramps happen because your uterus is contracting to shed its lining. It’s common to feel pain, nausea, chills, and even diarrhea during this time. To ease the discomfort, you can try using a heating pad on your lower belly, taking ibuprofen, which you can buy over the counter, or talking to a gynecologist about other treatments. These cramps often get better as you get older, but if they continue, a doctor can help you find the best solution.
