Why do I feel food stuck in my chest/throat at 27?

Patient's Query

I’m 27 years old lady . For the past few days , anytime I eat I feel like the food is stuck in my chest/ throat. And I also have some heat sensation in my stomach. What should I do ?

Answered by Dr. Samrat Jankar

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of esophageal irritation or reflux, which can lead to the sensation of food sticking and discomfort in the stomach. This may occur due to various factors, such as dietary choices, stress, or even swallowing habits. To alleviate your symptoms, try eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy or fatty foods, and staying upright after eating. It’s also essential to stay hydrated. If these symptoms persist or worsen, I encourage you to consult a gastroenterologist for an accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment.

My mom found out she has a big cyst in her stomach. Attached to her belly button. I want to know if the surgery to remove it is risky.?

Female | 67

The cyst can often bring pain and discomfort. They are due to the blocking of the glands or infections. Although cyst removal is generally quite safe, some risks are part of all surgeries. Her physician has to explain the pros and cons to your mom, so that she can make a well-informed decision about what is best for her health.

Is there more urine in jaundice or fatty liver

Male | 18

Jaundice is a disease of the liver with the surface of a patient's skin turning yellow because a substance, bilirubin, is produced. This may result in frequent urination because the body is trying to eliminate the excess of bilirubin through urine. Fatty liver is also sometimes the cause of increased urination, mainly, through the deposition or inflammation of the liver. Consuming enough water and a healthy, balanced diet can regulate these issues.

Two months before I was suffering from rectum pain and some time pain genital after urination but now I have noticed rectum pain after 2-3 of masterbution which remains 2-3 days

Male | 24

If you’re feeling soreness in your anus and genital region following sexual release or peeing, it could mean that you have an urinary or reproductive system problem such as infection or inflammation. For the best results, see your doctor for a checkup. Meanwhile, take lots of water, avoid spices and try sitting in warm bath to relieve the pain.

Female | 26

Constipation is the inability to poop regularly. Symptoms are bloating, stomach pain, and not pooping every day. Causes can be not eating enough fiber, not drinking enough water, or not moving enough. To help with this, try eating more fruits, and veggies, and drinking a lot of water.
