Why is my stomach growling after drinking alcohol?
I am a 21 year old male around 5'4 with around 60kgs weight. I feel as if this weight is too little and I want to add more. I try on numerous occasions to eat more and diet better albeit I do a bit of drinking over the weekends. Though I have tried adding weight, only my stomach seems to get larger whilst my other body parts are not commensurate to this gain. Yesterday I went out and took a drink that has 40% alcohol. Since then my stomach hasn't stopped growling no matter how much I eat, and I have watery diarrhea. What is the problem?

It sounds like your recent experiences with alcohol have led to digestive issues, such as a growling stomach and diarrhea. Alcohol can irritate your digestive system and disrupt your body's ability to absorb nutrients, which may explain your difficulty gaining weight. To support your health, consider reducing alcohol intake and focusing on balanced meals that include protein, healthy fats, and whole grains. Staying hydrated is also essential. If symptoms persist or worsen, please seek guidance from a gastroenterologist to ensure there are no underlying concerns. Your well-being is paramount, and a doctor can provide tailored advice and support.

I would urge you to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist as early as possible. Constipation, being a symptom involving both food habits and fever, is seen in psychotic disorders, and its monitoring is needed. There is a possibility that the vomiting and weakness you are experiencing are a result of constipation or another medical issue that you have.

It seems that you have an ailment known as an anal crack. This condition is characterized by cracks in the skin around the anus, which can lead to blood and/or injury in the rectum. This may be from being constipated, having diarrhea, or simply surviving hard stools. To relieve the pain and the healing process, you should see a dietician who will give you foods rich in fiber. Also, a glass of water every day and the use of over-the-counter creams to cover the corroded area can be used to help ease the pain and promote the area to heal. For sure, the area troubles you, however, you are urged to seek help if the techniques have failed and no improvement has been noticed.

Male | 29
You may be having acid reflux. Stomach acid goes up your food pipe bringing irritation and pain. Thus, the muscle between the stomach and the food pipe weakens, which may cause this to happen. Do not eat large meals, avoid eating any spicy foods, and do not stay upright for a long time. If the pain is still present, visit a gastroenterologist.
