Does they treat for last stage of Cancer
Answered on 26th Oct '24
The end-of-life phase cancer therapy focuses on symptom management and quality of life enhancement instead of cancer treatment. Symptoms may be severe pain, weight loss, fatigue, and difficulty breathing. The causes of cancer are different but can be genetic, lifestyle factors, or environmental exposure. Treatment may include palliative care such as pain management and supportive therapy for the person to be more comfortable.

You said that it was once the throat was cancer and now the neck has come back and started to move in and out due to these problems. The local doctors may have given you the reason for this increase. Usually, the main symptoms are the ones that are increasing and the pain association is the one that is moving to the cancer staging compartment. Your suggested conclusion is right - the thrust is causing a high-speed movement at the neck region.

What does a psa of .05 mean six weeks after prostate removal mean
Answered on 18th June '24
A PSA of 0.05 six weeks after the prostate has been removed - this is good. It is not uncommon during the recovery period following an operation that the PSA levels are quite low. This tells us that the prostate was removed. The PSA values regularly need to be measured to check that they are within the norm. Low PSA levels following the surgery are the ones that suggest the cancer has been successfully eliminated.

Sir my mother has been affected by peri ampullary carcinoma. She is 45 years old now. I need help from you. In the world i don't have anyone except my mother.
Answered on 25th June '24
This form of cancer causes symptoms such as jaundice, weight loss, and belly pain. It starts when cells near the ampulla of Vater begin growing out of control. Treatment typically involves surgery followed by chemotherapy. You must collaborate closely with her physician to determine the most effective course of action for your mother. Be strong and be there for her during this difficult time.

Does cancer come back in everyone who is cured after treatment?
Answered on 11th June '24
When an individual undergoes treatment and the disease fades away, it’s a relief. Nonetheless, there are times when it recurs after going into remission. It is contingent on the kind of malignancy one has as well as the method used for healing it. Signs that can indicate its reoccurrence may be similar to those experienced during the first onset such as unexplained weight loss, fatigue, or formation of new masses. To avoid its resurgence, you need to keep seeing your doctor for regular checkups besides living healthily.

I am having extreme pain in my left nipple
Answered on 10th June '24
It feels painful in the nipple due to a range of causes such as injury, infection, or sometimes even hormonal changes. Be sure to wear loose clothes so as not to make things worse and stop them from rubbing against anything that might irritate them further. You could also try applying a warm compress on it; this might help soothe the pain temporarily but if it’s still there after a while then please go see an oncologist about this as soon as possible.

I am suffering from severe stomach pain due to colon cancer stage 4, any medicine for pain relief
Answered on 5th Nov '24
This pain occurs because the tumor is pressing on your belly inside. To relieve it, the doctor can prescribe you stronger drugs than those sold in the drugstore. These medicines are designed to ease the pain and make you comfortable. Keep telling your doctor how you feel so that they can change the medication when necessary to control the pain effectively.

I had 2 lumps ( fiberdenoma ) on my left breast and it's easily movable ...and I found the lump on November 2023 now also it has not gone ...now I was feeling a lump on my right breast also ...and it also easily movable...not having any health issues anything like that
Answered on 23rd May '24
Fibroadenomas are the predominant cause of these lumps. They are caused by hormonal changes and they are not cancer. They can be discovered on their own due to fluctuating hormones when a woman's period cycles. They are painless, moveable, and without any problem. To be perfectly sure, one should go to the hospital and get it examined thoroughly. Even if it is frequent the hospital may demand additional tests. Keep in mind not to freak out but you'll require a professional check for any changes in your breasts that are unaccountable by logic.

Answered on 23rd May '24
Kids often catch colds. Having blood in the stool is concerning. Many things can make this happen. Some causes are easy to fix. But others need medical care. One rare cause of sickness is leukemia. This cancer hurts blood cells. Signs are tiredness, bruises, and infections. But not all kids with leukemia have these signs. The best step is seeing an oncologist. They will check for what is making your child sick. If there is a sickness, they know how to treat it right.

invasive well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma is found is biopsy what should I want to do please guide me
Answered on 23rd May '24
Well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma is a skin cancer type. It may look like a rough spot, scaly growth, or sore that won't heal. Too much sun causes it. Oncologists treat it by removing with surgery, freezing it, or using radiation. Spotting it early is key, so watch your skin and see a dermatologist if you notice changes.

Answered on 28th Aug '24
Stage 4 melanoma skin cancer means the disease has moved to other body parts. You may notice weird moles, spots that change, and feel unwell. Too much sunlight exposure causes it. Treatments like surgery, chemo, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy help. But survival rates rise by listening to your oncologist and checking regularly.

my uncle had scc on left lateral border of tongue and underwent widelocal excision and adj chemo and radio but with in 9 months it was reoccured in the opp field @ right lateral border of the tongue can please suggest me the further treatment plan and etiology/ cause for the reoccurrence kindly
Answered on 23rd May '24
Your uncle's situation with recurrent squamous cell carcinoma on the opposite side of his tongue is difficult. Treating this type of cancer again can involve surgery, radiation therapy, or combining both approaches. The reason for recurrence often stems from remaining cancerous cells left behind after initial surgery. Your uncle must consult his oncologist about subsequent treatment options available.

Answered on 24th July '24
Some symptoms like losing weight, lumps, and feeling tired often make us fear cancer. But lots of other factors can also cause these signs. Weight changes, lumpy areas, constant fatigue – these might be worrisome, yet they don't necessarily mean cancer. Sure, cancer remains a possibility if symptoms persist. Many other reasons exist for such symptoms. If concerned, consult a doctor – they'll provide guidance.

Can we give blood after 1 week of gfc treatment
Answered on 25th July '24
You need to wait before giving blood after GFC treatment. Your body requires time to recover; it lost cells during the procedure. Don't give blood too soon - at least one week is best. That lets your body rebuild the blood cells affected by treatment. Donating blood earlier could make you tired or dizzy. Wait a week to be safe after GFC.

Ive always had discharge for as long as I can remember and at my 8 week postpartum checkup the doctor checked me but said it wasn’t alarming because it’s not bothering me. I am currently 4 months postpartum and noticed I was getting discharge that had a slight odour and the discharge left rashes between my thighs and it got to the point I couldn’t wear underwear because the discharge would get more and I keep getting rashes. I noticed it getting a little bit better when I stopped wearing underwear the smell was still slightly fishy but not too terrible like before but recently after sexual intercourse I bled a little. Now google says it’s either the C word or some infection. I’m aware I should go doctor right away but I’m just not able to do so , my last two screenings for cervical cancer with my Pap smear came negative it was in 2018 and 2021. What’s the reason I bled?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Postpartum, it is normal to discharge but rashes and odor can prove an infection. Sex-related bleeding is not normal and may indicate a problem. This is why it’s important to go and see a doctor so that they can rule out any serious conditions. Cervical cancer screenings are also significant, but they do not detect all problems. If you are experiencing symptoms, do not waste time before seeing a doctor.

How fast does sarcoma grow?
Answered on 23rd May '24
There is a wide range of growth that can be observed in sarcoma, which refers to cancer on the soft tissues and bones. Sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors, and their rate of growth varies subject to various factors such as the specific subtype of sarcoma detected in an individual patient’s body, its location within that person’s tissue or organ composition. Some sarcomas grow slowly over time, others can develop rapidly. Earlier diagnosis results in better outcomes as early intervention and treatment are established. Regular medical guides, symptoms monitoring and testing are among the most important procedures for determining how much sarcomas develop or grow while helping to form an effective treatment plan designed specifically for a given patient. For a thorough check-up and cancer treatment, India has some of the best cancer hospitals that you can explore.

Hello, I am 75 years old male suffering from esophageal cancer (malignant sq. cell Carcinoma, grade-II). Please suggest me treatment for the same.
Answered on 23rd May '24
Treatment depends on the stage of cancer, health condition and patient's age. Surgery, chemo, radiation therapy or a combination of all these may be included in the treatment. But that can be confirmed after physical diagnosis. At an early stage, surgery may be the only treatment. If advanced stage then chemotherapy and radiation therapy may be required to shrink the tumor before or after surgery.
