Chest and back pain very hard
Female | 47
Chest and back pain together normally occur due to muscle strain. This can happen while doing everyday activities like lifting heavy things. Be sure to rest, and apply ice. Aspirin will ease the pain. If you are not sitting and lifting with a straight and proper posture, it may lead to chest and back pain as a result of muscle strain. If you still experience the same pain or it turns out to be severe, then it is necessary to visit an orthopedist.

Hello, I had a pain in my right side since last Tuesday night. I went to the urgent care and they did bloodwork, urine sample, and examined me. She said she think it’s a pulled muscle. I still have the pain. It radiates down my leg too
Female | 21
You may have a muscle strain or herniation in the lumbar region of the spine. My advice would be that you have to opt for an orthopedic specialist or a neurosurgeon for a final diagnosis. The doctor can suggest an imaging test such as an MRI or CT scan.

I am trying to find the starting point to getting my knees replaced
Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Types of knee replacement surgery Simultaneous bilateral knee replacement - When both knees are replaced at the same time. The primary advantage of a procedure is that there is only one hospital stay and one rehabilitation period to heal both knees. But rehabilitation may be slower. Also these patients may need assistance at home also. Generalized fitness is important here. Staged bilateral knee replacement- Each knee is replaced at a different time. These surgeries are done a few months apart. This staged approach helps one knee to recover before the second surgery. The main advantage of a this procedure is the reduced risk of complications and also requires a shorter hospital stay. However, since this procedure requires two surgeries, the overall rehabilitation period can be longer. Either surgery may involve any combination of total knee replacement or partial knee replacement. The risks associated with this surgery: infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Hope our answer helps you. How to get rid of arthritis in fingers?
Female | 45
Acupuncture helps in opening up the energy level ( commonly referred as 'Qi' in acupuncture theory).
Acupuncture needles are put on various parts of the body which helps in increasing the blood flow.
It has an anti inflammatory effect. It stops body's inflammatory response, increases blood flow and relaxes muscle tone. It helps in flushing out toxins from the body. Acupuncture releases endorphins which are natural hormones to reduce the feeling of pain and puts the patient in ultimate relaxed state i.e feeling of well being.
Electro acupuncture pulsates electric current through the needles.
Such procedure gives quick response and helps in reducing both pain and inflammation in people with arthritis.

Hi, I got injured while playing football above the ankle but the damage interfered with the ankle thus resulting to severe pains how can I control it
Male | 20
I suggest you consult with an orthopedic specialist right away. This injured ankle may have damaged the joint, which led to a throbbing pain. During this time, you may relieve the pain by applying ice to the affected area; taking antinflammatory medicine and keeping your leg elevated. But these are only short-term fixes, which would require an official diagnosis and treatment from a specialist.

I have been experiencing ankle pain for about three months. However with mobility, it stops hurting. There's no swelling. But when I wake up in the morning it becomes stiff snd it hurts. Eventually with some movement it stops hurting.

Pain in the ankle, mostly in the morning, is probably associated with arthritis, gout, or tendinitis. It is best to see an orthopedist who has the experience and capability to diagnose the condition and provide suitable treatment.

I rolled my ankle really bad 4 weeks ago almost 5. I still have inflamation and soreness, and pain. my briuises are gone but still hurts. and i have not been to a doctor.
Female | 14
You’ve sprained your ankle, and it may still be causing inflammation, soreness, and pain weeks after the injury. A sprain happens when the ligaments are stretched or torn, leading to pain and swelling. Rest your ankle, ice it, elevate it, and consider using a compression bandage. If it doesn’t improve, it’s best to see an orthopedist for advice.

I am 19 years old, female. I have been suffering from a clicking sound on my right side jaw for last 5 days. And also I am having problem to open my mouth widely. Is this tmj problem? And what should I do now? Please help sir
Female | 19
You may be having problems with your TMJ, which is the joint that connects your jaw to your skull. The clicking sound and difficulty opening your mouth could be due to inflammation or muscle tension in that area. It's important to rest your jaw, avoid chewing gum, and stick to soft foods. Putting packs of ice and simply rubbing the area could be a solution. If the symptoms persist, consider seeing a dentist or an orthopedist for further evaluation.

Why do I have such bad knee pain? Everytime I hit my knee or even just rest something on my knee I get a shoot of pain in my knee that won't go away for at least a minute
Female | 20
The condition you describe might be patellar tendinitis. It happens when the tendon connecting your kneecap and shinbone gets inflamed. Overuse like repeatedly hitting your knee can cause this. Resting your knee, icing it, and doing gentle knee-strengthening exercises can help. However, if pain persists, see an orthopedist for evaluation.

It’s a good idea to see an orthopedist to find the exact cause and get the right treatment. Exercise with a physiotherapist or medication may help improve the strength and mobility of your hand.

I have joint pain esp right knee pain post delivery 4yrs now unable to stand or move I am unable to flex my right knee fully nor bend fully I have almost bone on bone It's affecting my sleeping posture standing posture I am unable to stand straight I am in extreme pain What should I do?
Female | 29
The symptoms you described could be indicative of osteoarthritis. This is a condition where the cartilage in your joint wears away, resulting in the rubbing of bones against each other and, subsequently, pain and stiffness. To assist in the control of your symptoms, you can follow gentle exercises to build up the muscles around your knee, apply hot or cold packs for relief, and think of talking to an orthopedist about treatment options such as physical therapy or medications.

Right hip subchondral sclerosis with fewill defindradiolucent areasnoted inhead of right femur
Male | 34
Subchondral sclerosis is when the bone becomes harder. Radiolucent areas are places where the bone isn’t as dense. These changes can cause pain and stiffness in the hip area. They may occur because of natural aging processes and wear and tear on our bodies over time. To relieve these symptoms, try doing exercises or going for physical therapy sessions.
