In this case, prolonged sitting in one position and repetitive neck movements can serve as the causes. The popping is now attributed to the presence of air bubbles in the joints. It's very nice that you don't have a family background of cancer. If you can, do gentle neck exercises along with stretching. You may also use heat or ice for relief. If the pain still does not go away, you can look for an orthopedist for more help.

Hi, about a week ago, I had pain in my left neck to the shoulder and arm. The pain lasted about a day and then the next day was on and off.
Female | 26
The injury that you have described might be a muscle strain or a cervical nerve compression. You should consult an orthopedic doctor or a neurologist for proper diagnosis and therapy. If the pain lasts or increases, do not ignore it.

Hi, I have bursitis, but there is no pain, what to do to solve this problem?
Male | 40
Is bursitis without pain possible? Yes, it is but it can bother you a lot. Bursitis occurs due to the inflammation of bursae, a small, fluid-filled sac located at joints. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will feel pain. But if there is swelling or stiffness, you might feel like you have swollen a joint by doing a wrong workout. Swelling can be resolved by resting and applying ice packs. The best and most effective course is to avoid participating in things that enhance the swelled part. There is a possibility that it could not go away, and the advice of an orthopedist could be sought in this case!

Hi, Is it possible for a person with COPD to undergo Hip replacement surgery?
Patients with COPD represent a high percentage of risk groups, but COPD per say is not a contraindication for any surgery. It all depends on patient's general condition. Once the doctor gives fitness, surgery can be planned. Preoperative check-up of the respiratory system is necessary in order to prevent and avoid complications. The intraoperative care with respiratory and hemodynamic monitoring as well as postoperative care in the ICU will take of everything. Consult an orthopedic surgeon, physician for help. This page exposes you to relevant specialists - Orthopedic Physiotherapists in Mumbai. I'm 25 years age. I have several issues some of them from my childhood and some of them are from 15 age. I have back pain. Back muscles are usually very tight. Plus I have right shoulder pain right knee pain right feet pain. And tremor in my both hands from childhood. I have one small eye and one comparatively large eye. Have asymetric eyes. And I have tight pelvic floor. Whenever I sleep on right side bladder leaks at night in the bed. But when I sleep on the left side it doesn't happen at all. From past 3 4 days I have pain under my eyes.
Male | 25
It sounds like you have multiple health issues that need attention. For your back, shoulder, knee, and feet pain, as well as tight muscles and tremors, it is best to see an orthopedic doctor. The asymmetry in your eyes and recent pain under your eyes should be checked by an ophthalmologist. For pelvic floor tightness and bladder issues, a visit to a urologist is recommended.

Your left hand feels weak. This might be because the nerves in your hand aren’t working properly. One possible cause could be a pinched nerve in your neck or shoulder. It’s a good idea to see an orthopedist to find the exact cause and get the right treatment. Exercise with a physiotherapist or medication may help improve the strength and mobility of your hand.

Female | 18
Back pain, headache, and anxiety may be the symptoms of some common issues. Sometimes stress and tension can make your body feel like this. Trouble with breathing could also be due to anxiety. Use deep breathing, relaxation techniques, and gentle stretches to your advantage. Besides these, it is also important to drink a lot of water and get plenty of sleep. If the issues continue, talk to an orthopedist for more information.

What can I do about my friend Billie Jo gibbons her hip is killing her
Female | 24
Many factors can trigger hip soreness - arthritis or injuries, for instance. If her hip aches, she must take rest, apply ice packs to lessen the swelling, and consume over-the-counter pain relievers. However, if the discomfort persists, consulting an orthopedist for examination and treatment might be necessary.

my brother is 28 years old, and he just had ACL surgery a month ago. I'm curious about what activities he can safely resume at this point. Can you provide some guidance on what's generally acceptable 1 month post ACL surgery for someone his age?
Male | 28
Now, your brother can begin with light exercises such as walking and stationary cycling. He should refrain from high-impact activities such as running, jumping or twisting until he finishes his rehabilitation program. It would be wise to ask his orthopedic surgeon or a physical therapist for more information on the recovery process and advice about activities that he can engage in without risk.

Three months after hip replacement surgery, it is not uncommon to have swelling. But in case of pain or redness connected with swelling, the orthopedic surgeon should be consulted. They might instead refer you to a joint replacement specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

Male | 17
You were right to contact us about those crampy pains in your lower right back and side. Kidney issues can cause sensations like that sometimes. Even little kidney stones might feel similar. You must complete the full course of antibiotics prescribed. Drinking lots of water helps too. However, if the pain worsens or won't go away, you should let an orthopedist know.

I am Mamta devi.before 4 months did my hip replacement surgery, and that time my bone was crack .now i have pain' in my surgery place.what i do?
Female | 65
One of the significant problems that you have to recognize and take care of is the pain in your hip that you are experiencing after the surgery. Pain at the surgery site could be a symptom of various issues such as an infection, loosening of the implant, or a fracture. The hypothesis of the pain caused by the previously broken bone is still a possibility. Visit your orthopedic surgeon for an evaluation and discuss treatment options.

For over a year now I have had something that sicks out at the bottom of my ribcage on the left. It fells like the end of a rib sticking out and hurts when being pushed on. I did lose quite a lot of weight a year and a half ago and it's ever since then that I have noticed it. It is visibly sticking out when I am just standing normally.
Female | 20
You might have costochondritis. This is when the cartilage in your ribs gets inflamed, which usually causes pain and tenderness. It may be related to weight loss and sometimes comes on after an illness. To help relieve the pain, you can do some gentle stretching, use heat packs, or take over-the-counter painkillers such as ibuprofen.
