I am 48 year old women vegetarian my left knee is stiff and the muscle above the joints are swollen. I am unable to fold or walk properly but the bone and joint are not the problem. It feels there is a blockage aome where and the body is trying to send blood to the part. Some times the leg shakes by its own. What should i do ?whome should i consult ?

This might present as a combination of swelling, pain, and immobility of the leg Lie down while putting your feet up, apply a cold compress to the area, stretch your leg, and wrap it with a long elastic bandage to reduce swelling. If the pain persists, replays, or intensifies, or you find it hard to bear its weight, go to the orthopaedist.
