Aapko aram karna, affected area par ice lagana, aur bandage use karna chahiye. Lekin, agar dard ya sujan zyada hai, toh orthopedist se sampark karna zaroori hai. Vah aapko sahi diagnosis aur treatment dene mein madad karenge.

My son got kneeinjured while playing tennis. mRI shows high grade ACL tear. Does it necessary to do surgery. Also report showing bone marrow edema. Does it serious condition. His age is 25 only
Male | 25
A high-grade ACL tear can cause instability and pain in the knee, impacting activities. While surgery is often recommended for young, active individuals like your son to ensure full recovery and prevent long-term issues, conservative treatment may be an option depending on his activity level and symptoms. Bone marrow edema indicates inflammation but can improve with proper care. It's important to work closely with an orthopedist to evaluate the best course of action, whether that includes surgery or rehabilitation. They can provide a tailored plan for your son’s needs.

Why my hip/acetabulum hurts?
Hip pain can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include trauma, lying on a side for a prolonged period, overuse, muscle stiffness, sitting in an awkward position, sprains or strains. For treatment you need to visit orthopedist who will analyze the problem and prescribe the medicine for relief.

JOINT PAIN AND KNEE JOINT SWALING.
Female | 55
There can be several causes of knee cartilage pain and knee joint swelling, such as injury, overuse, or conditions like arthritis. It might also make you feel some stiffness, redness, or warmth in the joint. It is of paramount importance to the rest of the injured joint, ice apply, raise it, and take over-the-counter pain relievers. In seeking medical help if the pain continues or gets worse, you can get the necessary tests and treatments.

For 3 months, the area around my right shoulder blade has been swollen and I sometimes have pain when moving my arm. The swollen area is soft and does not hurt to the touch.
Male | 19
You have swelling near a joint. That's probably bursitis. The swollen areas contain fluid sacs. Moving your affected arm brings pain and discomfort. You should rest your arm and use cold packs. This can reduce inflammation. Also, try stretching exercises. These may offer relief. However, if the pain continues, visit an orthopedist.

hi im zarina 40 yrs old since few years i have neck and right hand pain but nowadays its pain is extremely and i did an xray can u assist me plz
Female | 40
You sound like you're in pain with your neck and right-hand issues. The X-ray procedure you suggested was an excellent way to find out what was wrong. The pain in your neck and right hand might be caused by muscle strain, poor posture, or even arthritis. You can do sciatic stretching, apply heat or ice packs, and exercise good posture to improve your health. If it remains, see an orthopedist for additional tests and therapy solutions.

I'm 19 yrs old girl, I'm getting pain in my knee cap while going up the stairs, the pain gradually decreases when I stopped moving upstairs.I do feel the pain even more when I'm cycling on a steep or elevated.Normally I don't feel any pain while doing daily activities.I don't even know what causes me pain in my knees.I didn't fall down in the past, but I cycled too much during the covid time in between 2019-2021& may be that's when I started feeling pain for the 1st time. Can you tell me why this happens, can I know the name of this kind of pain so that I can take care of myself?
Female | 19
According to what you said, it seems like you might have patellofemoral pain syndrome, which is a condition where the kneecap does not move smoothly over the thigh bone thus resulting in pain. Doing cycling excessively can also trigger it. Rest the knee, perform some light stretches, and do some strengthening workouts. See an orthopedist if the pain persists.

I am 24 years old and male. I hurt my knee in football and now I feel pain on one side.
Male | 24
You may have injured your knee during a football match. Achilles tendinitis or patellar tendinitis are the two most frequent causes of pain in the knee after an injury. Further, you may also have swelling or a problem moving the knee. To alleviate your knee problem, rest your knee, then put some ice on it to let it heal and elevate your leg. If you are still experiencing pain, it is relevant to take a rest from your daily activities and consult an orthopedist or therapist.

My son's hip bones are out of the sockets and he's only able to walk using crutches. Due to severe pain, he's posture has been affected and he bends forward. He has developed some deformity on his back due to the posture. What can we do?
Male | 12
The pelvic mismatch tends to bring other related problems and thus, it should be corrected. In my view, a visit to a competent orthopedic doctor is the first step here. They can determine the extent of the situation after a thorough examination is performed. This would include a review of his joints and might lead to a recommendation for a more therapeutic approach such as physical.

Hello I am Ana 30 years old have a swelling and pain on my knee but I didn’t fall it was so sudden I did 3 Mri s and the report showed a partial ACL tear and meniscus tear grade 2 my knee hurts alot and can't move or walk it is very swollen and it's been 3 months I took anti inflammatory pills for 90 days but still the swelling didn't change but increased also I did a crp blood test but it was normal esr also but everything normal but the swelling and pain is there I lost my job I am in bed it's been more than 3 months I need help still don't know what is the cause of this swelling and heaviness in my knee ...thanks
Female | 30
The swelling and pain you're experiencing, along with a partial ACL and meniscus tear, suggest ongoing inflammation or irritation, which may not respond fully to anti-inflammatories. It’s essential to explore further options, such as physical therapy, knee bracing, or even consulting an orthopedist for potential surgical evaluation. Rest, ice, and gentle movements might help alleviate some discomfort.

My mother has left arm and shoulder pain for the past 2 days but hasn't had any injury recently. Is it serious like a heart attack symptom?
Female | 51
Arm and shoulder pain might be simple but never neglect it. It could indicate heart trouble. Watch for chest unease, breathing problems, and queasiness too. But muscle strain or poor posture causes such pain as well. Let your mother rest and ice the area - if the pain eases, no worries. However, if it persists or worsens, consult an orthopedist right away.

My 11 year old girl is getting cramps on her middle finger atlist three times in a month and i have notice all her fingers is turning dark in color
Female | 11
The middle finger cramps and the darkening of all fingers sound uncomfortable. The reason is there may not be enough blood flow in the fingers. One common cause is Raynaud's disease, which is a disorder that affects blood flow. If the issue gets worse, talk to an orthopedist.

I have tfcc injury about a 1 month which medicine is taken to treat this
Male | 23
Seeing an orthopedist and getting a full diagnosis and a treatment plan is the first thing I would advise you to do for the TFCC injury. The specialist would probably issue a script for painkillers, immobilization, and/or physiotherapy and surgery only if the damage is severe.
