It's understandable to feel overwhelmed by intense worry and sudden fear. Common signs include a racing heart, shortness of breath, sweating, or feeling dizzy. These experiences can stem from stress, life changes, or even underlying health issues. One effective strategy is practicing deep breathing and mindfulness exercises to help ground yourself. Regular physical activity and a balanced diet can also be beneficial. If these feelings persist, it may be helpful to talk to a psychiatrist. They can offer tailored support and treatment options to help you manage your symptoms effectively.

This state, caused by genetics or anxiety, is a great relief; however, when one's thought process is a vast emptiness that only confuses one's speech. Mind overload can lead to stuttering. The assistance of a therapist in overcoming your stress and thoughts becomes crucial.

My therapist prescribed for me vaincor 5mg (olanzapine) and serotyl 20mg (fluoxetine) and I'm afraid that will make me gain weight. Does this combination makes me gain weight or not??
Female | 17
The presence of Olanzapine and Fluoxetine, the components of Vaincor, may lead to weight gain as one of the possible side effects of their joint treatment. Yet, this may not be the case for everyone. They will want to advise you to consult your psychiatrist or another medical doctor for the full evaluation and the issue of any side effects.

Male | 21
Methylphenidate can be taken with Clonidine, but make sure to follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. I recently found out I am pregnant. I am currently on antidepressants (50mg quetiapine, 150m Lamotrigine and 20mg escitalopram) should I be worried about the baby's development. I also had a miscarriage before, what can I do to keep baby healthy, are there recommendations for supplements
Female | 33
Pregnant women should have normal worries when carrying a baby after a miscarriage. The medications you've been prescribed can influence the development of your baby but quitting them too quickly can also be dangerous. This is the reason why it is vital to discuss this with your doctor. To promote your child's health, eat healthy foods and take prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid.

I need a dermatologist and psychologist
Female | 22
You seem to have complaints about skin problems and at the same time you are a little down. Your skin could make you overwhelmed and that's the feeling that can backfire on your skin. One of the ways of discovery of the actual cause of the skin disorder is the dermatological examination, which could be identified as an allergy or an infection. Seeing a psychologist can help you control your stress and feel better too thus inducing favorable skin condition too. Trust me, getting both addressed can make a big difference.

hello! how are you? apparently i woke up today from a nightmare, but problem is that when i woke up there was a severe coldness everywhere in my body and my heartbeat was going 180mph for the past 15 minutes now, that was like 6 hours ago, now i’m doing fine and my heartbeat is now at 86mph and i’m relaxing but i feel like i’m still traumatized haha, should i be concerned tho or is it something normal??
Female | 15
After waking up from a nightmare, feeling uneasy is normal. Your heart rate may increase quickly because your body thinks the danger is near. This reaction, though unsettling, typically subsides as you regain composure. However, if these occurrences persist frequently, discussing them with a psychiatrist would be advisable. Nightmares can sometimes reflect underlying concerns that require attention.

I have taken unwanted 72 pill yesterday. For avoiding unwanted pregnancy I'm patient of depression my antidepressants medicine are lithosun sr, lonazep, olimelt, aripmt . I daily take these antidepressants but yesterday not and till now . Does antidepressants reduce the effectiveness of unwanted 72. Will I get pregnant? I'm worried
Female | 21
In general, the impact of the 72-hour pill on the efficiency of antidepressants is not that significant. If used in the recommended time frame, it is meant to work against getting pregnant. However, skipping your antidepressant doses may lead to your general well-being. Pay attention to any strange signs or emotional changes. If you go through persistent anxiety or if you have other concerns, see your healthcare provider for specifically tailored advice, and they can also help both your mental health and contraceptive requirements.

Female | 34
You’re going through something called health anxiety, which is when you’re really afraid of getting seriously sick. This can make you feel stressed and worried all the time. Some common signs of this include always being worried that you have a certain illness, checking your symptoms online repeatedly, and avoiding things that could make you anxious. There are ways to deal with it—one way is by talking with someone like a therapist who can help teach strategies for managing these fears.

Male | 21
If you are feeling tired all the time, running a fever, and experiencing general bodily malaise (like muscle aches), there is a chance that what you have could be caused by some kind of virus such as influenza. The important thing for now is making sure to drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep, and take over-the-counter medicines for symptomatic relief. However, should none of these measures work then I would advise seeking further guidance from your doctor or another healthcare professional.

Breakup is bringing you grief and loneliness. It's what happens to most people, and it is quite common. It might trigger your mind, making you think everything is going wrong. You may feel disinterested in conversations with girls or in some activities you used to like. This is what is called depression. Speaking with a psychiatrist about your feelings is important. They can assist you in lifting your spirit and staying by your side.

I was prescribed adderall and klonopins throughout most of my 20s. My doctor retired when I was 30 years old and I never got a new doctor, therefore I stopped getting my medications. I am now 40 and truly feel like I need to be back on my meds. What should I do to get prescribed my medications as soon as possible?
Male | 40
To get back on your medications, it's important to visit a psychiatrist or a general physician who can assess your current condition and prescribe the necessary treatment. Explain your medical history and the medications you were on. They will guide you on the best course of action and may restart your previous prescriptions after a thorough evaluation.
