Daily Seizures with Memory Loss: What Causes This?
Every day or after every 24 hours (at 07.07 PM) the patient goes into a short sleep or coma like state (for 1 hour to 2 hours) and at that time the patient does not react in any way and has 3-4 types of seizures at that time and in that state and then the patient is Becomes completely weak. Forgets what happened during the attack.

I'm 22 years old. Woke up this morning feeling lightheaded, dizzy and nauseous.
Female | 22
Feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and nauseous? That can be tough. If you skipped breakfast, low blood sugar or dehydration could be the reason. Drink some water and have a healthy snack—it should help. But if you still feel dizzy, it's important to see a doctor. In the meantime, focus on staying hydrated and eating something. If these symptoms continue, visit a neurologist.

My left hand is numb and sometimes have a tingling feeling, before it was from finger tips to wrists but it extended till elbows. I consulted a doc and he said that there is no sign of nerve injury as there is sweat in my hand. He said that if there is a nerve problem my hand will not sweat. He also said that it maybe because i may have it some bone or nerve unknowingly, and did not prescribe any medication. However the numbness is still there for nearly 2 days and it has extended till my shoulder joint. I have no feeling in my left hand. No pain no sense no feeling.
Male | 17
You’re having a health issue in your left hand, as notice of the deadness is still staying up to your shoulder. This might result from a compressed nerve or issues in your neck or shoulder. It is essential to make a doctor’s condition, request these tests, and do imaging tests such as MRI. Do not put off these symptoms.

I am 22 years old guyFor the past 2 weeks i have been feeling brain fog. I feel like a robot and it feels like i am not aware of my surroundings very well and i lack clarity. Although i am able to complete everyday tasks and even communicate properly. I have noticed when I indulge myself into something for a moment it gets a little better but then again i start feeling it again. I was going to gym regularly and pushing hard. Moreover i was also consuming coffee before workout and whey protein. For a first few days it was for shorter period and then i was fine but now its been two weeks its constant. I have left everything but still it persists. I think it might be an anxiety. But i have never been diagnosed with it or any mental issues. On the other hand i wear spectacles I thought maybe it was due to that i got my eyesight checked they say its the same. So now i am very worried. Please let me know what should i do. Thank u very much.
Male | 22
Brain fog can cause dullness and difficulty concentrating. It may be triggered by stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, or certain medications. By cutting out coffee and workout-boosting herbs, you're already on the path to recovery. To help clear the fog, focus on getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and practicing calming activities like meditation or walking. If symptoms persist, it's best to consult a neurologist.

my mother is 82 years and diabetic .mri result says 1)multiple small T2W/FLAIR hyperintense foci noted in bilateral frontal and parietal periventricular and sub cortical regions-chronic small vessel ischemic changes 2) Diffuse cerebral atrophy doctor suggested procedure to remove water from spine your suggestion pl
Male | 59
I recommend that she should visit a neurologist. In MRI, the T2W/FLAIR images exhibited multiple small white matter hyperintensities in the bilateral frontal and parietal periventricular and subcortical areas. They suggest chronic small vessel ischemic change. Spinal tap water removal may not be the recommended treatment for her symptoms.

I have bilateral hippocampal hypertension Any treatment needed
Female | 17
Bilateral hippocampal hypertension refers to raised pressure on both sides of the hippocampus in the brain. This can be unveiled by memory failure, headache, or seizures. At other times, high blood pressure is the usual cause. One possible solution is to change one's lifestyle to include a healthier diet and fewer quiet periods. Medications may also be recommended to bring the pressure under control and alleviate the symptoms.

I'm 17 years old. I'm having sleep problems.i can't sleep properly in night, it's almost took me 2 hours to sleep even after closing my eyes. And in day time , my eyes started to burning
Female | 17
Seems like you might have insomnia, that is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. If you can’t fall asleep at night this can cause tired eyes that burn all day long. Stress, caffeine and use of screens before bedtime are some common reasons why teenagers suffer from this condition. Establishing a night time routine, avoiding caffeine and switching off the screens before going to bed may help improve your sleeping patterns.

I am a neuro patient,I am suffering from brain tumour,I have undergone radiosurgery proton beam therapy, But now I feel mentally very week,I am a service holder but I am not able to take work pressure So I want to know is there any solution of these problem
Female | 46
You find yourself to be mentally down as a result of the treatment, which was proton beam therapy for your brain tumor. This is a natural outcome because the treatment hurts the healthy brain tissue. Some usual symptoms are fatigue, memory problems, and a problem concentrating. Make sure you rest, eat the right foods, and keep in contact with your healthcare team. Alongside counseling, look into this support program for a solution.

Doctor, the patient has cerebral palsy dystonia. Is steam cell treatment better ordeep brain stimulation beneficial for him, Because deep brain stimulation is beneficial for Parkinson’s patients only, and its success rate is high because it is primary dystonia and he has secondary dystonia. Thank you very much.
Male | 28
In this case, deep brain stimulation may not be the best choice since it's typically used for Parkinson's disease. Stem cell therapy that replaces damaged cells instead could be one of the ways to do it. Cerebral palsy dystonia can cause muscle stiffness or uncontrollable movements. Always consult with a doctor to explore suitable options.

My sister had a RTA last year in which she had a paraplegic spinal cord injury, she is doing physiotherapy since one year still can't walk without calipers, has no sensation, she is 20 years old
Female | 20
A spinal cord issue such as hers might result in weakness of stepping and the absence of the sense of touch. It occurs when the spinal cord sustains damage, generally from events such as a car ramming into it. Exercise makes muscles stronger, but full recovery might not be attained.

Why does my mind feel clear and I got tap water up my nose is my mind feeling clear a symptom of the brain eating amoeba?
Male | 15
Getting tap water in your nose won't give you brain-eating amoeba. When water enters through nostrils, it brings sensation of mental clarity due to temperature difference. However, that amoeba is very uncommon, causing severe signs like intense headaches, fever, and disorientation. Avoid letting water enter the nose, especially in warm freshwater regions. But feeling refreshed after accidental nasal water entry doesn't indicate the presence of that frightening amoeba.

These symptoms together with unintentional loss of weight are worrisome. This could happen for many reasons including pulled muscles or problems with the cervical spine but it could also be something more serious so I would advise seeking medical attention soon so you can find out what is wrong before starting any treatment plan.

I am located in Tanzania. I have ruptured my Achilles tendon. I know I need to have surgery. My concern is I have no feeling in the bottom of my foot, the doctors here want to do the tendon surgery and are saying the damaged nerves may repair themselves. I don't know if that is true or if I should have a neurosurgeon do the surgery.
Female | 51
The nerves that are damaged could heal by themselves with time but it is advisable to seek guidance from a specialist on how best to handle this situation. If you don't want to go ahead with surgery, have a second opinion from a neurosurgeon and based on that take the decision right for you.
