Doctors treated her and dropped her sugar levels to normal. Now, she is mentally not stable and taking full bed rest. She is unable to stand or sit on her own. She is able to recognise all of us and can eat or drink on her own. But she is very week and mentally disturbed so much. She talks unrelated. Please suggest what treatment we should take for her. Your grandmother faced challenging times. Her health conditions recently caused worries. Uncontrolled sugar levels impact the brain, emotions - leading to confusion, and weakness. A kidney cyst may add stress too. Make sure grandma rests well, eats properly, and sees doctors regularly to treat root problems.

Kidney stone Left right both
Male | 22
Kidney stones might develop on one side of the body or both. They are similar to small stones that grow in a person's kidney. Signs include urine containing blood, having a problem urinating, and pain in the back or side. Causes may result from not drinking enough water and eating too much salt. To cure this condition, one may need to take a lot of fluid or use particular drugs; in some cases, an operation might be necessary to remove the stones.

I've test kidney function test all the parameters are in normal range except uric acid that is 7.9 mg/dl, and I want to take creatine supplement should i take it. (And before KFT test I had have ate fish and high purine food).
Male | 20
Your UA climb was up to 7.9mg/dl and you are considering using creatine. With higher UA comes greater chances for gout, a condition marked by pain and swelling in the joints. You should not take any creatine supplement right now while still eating fish and other high-purine foods since this would elevate your UA even further. To help decrease its level, stick with those things lower in purines.

I have started having sharp pain in right back side so I go to the doctor and I did sonography and my sonography showed 7mm kidney stone at right kidney in upper calayx and irregular urinary bladder wall? cystitis pvr 5cc noted then doctor give me medicine I took tablets 15 days and now after two months Vomiting once and fever at night and back pain on right side and little burning urine and weakness and I go to the bams doctor and he give me calcury tab 2tab two time a day for 10 days but this time no fever or vomate only sometime right back pain and sometime burning urine. Do I go back to the Calcuri tab at the same dose?
Male | 21
Your symptoms of back pain, urine burning, and general weakness are likely due to the kidney stone. I suggest you to keep on taking Calcury tablets as the BAMS doctor prescribed you. Stay well-hydrated and eat a balanced diet. If these symptoms last or worsen, it's vital to get medical help.

My father is suffering from CKD stage V now my USG report is showing ADPKD MY question is i recently joined gym for my body transformation fat to fit for that goal i have to eat 2 grams per body weight of protein is it good for my kidney also i want to add creatine supplement can i add that supplement
Male | 24
The function of the kidneys worsens when you eat large amounts of protein, and the kidney problems become more severe. The extremely high rates of creatine supplements can make the kidneys unable to function properly. Before you start any regimen, consult with your doctor to figure out the best approach that is right for your body.

My girlfriend is suffering from kidney stone, so my question is can we do intercourse during?
Female | 45
It's important to be gentle with someone who has kidney stones, as they often experience intense pain. Intercourse may worsen the pain or cause infections. Kidney stones typically cause stomach and back pain, blood in the urine, and a frequent urge to urinate. To help your girlfriend, ensure she stays well-hydrated and take her to a nephrologist for proper treatment.

2 kidney fell in 4 yers dayalisis ready
Female | 36
In cases like these, a person may need dialysis, to have their blood cleansified. This is possible when the kidneys are not functioning completely or are too weak. Some of the signs of the problem are a person being very tired, joints getting painful, and having the same problems with urination. It is a great point for them to visit a nephrologist to get the correct treatment.

I am a 64 year old female who was diagnosed with IGA nephropathy in 1992. I am now Stage 4. My creatinine hovers around 2.38 and my GFR is 23. I do not have protein spillage or blood in my urine. I have lost 124 lbs over the last 12 months with the assistance of Zepbound? Please help me understand what is causing my Creatinine to continue to rise? Could the Zepbound be causing this? I eat 1200 calories a day and stay within my sodium and potassium goals. I run 3 miles a day. But my kidneys are continuing to worsen. Please help me understand what else I can do. What is causing my creatinine to continue to rise? Should I get another kidney biopsy since my last biopsy was 32 years ago? Thank you so much for your help.
Female | 64
Considering your circumstance with IGA nephropathy, it is usual that creatinine levels may increase as kidney functions get worse. Also, rapid weight loss may affect kidney function. It is good that you are committed to eating right and exercising, but running 3 miles every day could strain your kidneys more. You should talk about these worries with a nephrologist. A further kidney biopsy might be able to tell what is happening to your kidneys now.

Several things might have caused the growth you noticed like a tumor or cyst. So you need to see a nephrologist who can properly evaluate what’s going on with your body and give a treatment plan to help ease these symptoms.

Aoa, I m 43 year old male suffering from RENAL FAILURE my reports are as under . Creatinine is 19.4 Urea 218 Hb 8.4 Vomiting Abdominal pain
Male | 43
Your kidneys may not be working properly, leading to high levels of creatinine and urea in your blood. These substances should be filtered out by the kidneys but are staying in your bloodstream, causing symptoms like fatigue, low hemoglobin, vomiting, and abdominal pain. To start feeling better, you may need treatments like dialysis and medications to lower these levels. Renal failure is a serious condition, so it's important to follow a nephrologist's guidance for proper management.

I am 72 years.recenly kidney function test blood report I found my creatinine level is 1.61 and egfr is 43.i do not have any kidney problem as such.In 2019 I undergone angioplasty in Jupiter hospital.and that time my creatinine level was 1.6 and you had given me the medicine Reno save and the level came down
Male | 72
Your creatinine level is a bit above normal and your eGFR is a bit below normal. These are not a big deal and can occur due to age or some health problems in the past like angioplasty. It may not be visible in the beginning. Thus, living a healthy lifestyle such as eating well, drinking enough water, and making regular doctor visits can greatly assist your kidneys.

The biopsy results can be interpreted that you may have some changes in your kidneys. The findings suggest that there is a thickening in the walls of some blood vessels and areas of fibrosis. These alterations can be attributed to a condition called xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis. This condition is mostly caused by a severe kidney infection. Proper treatment may involve the use of antibiotics and close monitoring of a nephrologist to manage the condition.

I had kidney stones. Some are removed with ursl, but there are still some. I had wart or something else on my leg, so the doctor recommended to use salicylic acid bp 40%. I didn't even realize that I should disclose the fact of having issues with kidney thinking what could be the relationship between dermatology and urology. But I am pretty sure I have committed a huge mistake. The acid has probably entered to my kidney and caused something. It is such a painful ? in my back around kidney. I am far away from hospital (remote). Need first aid to get rid of the pain ? (probably some organic base will neutralize it)
Male | 24
Your back pain might be caused by acid affecting your kidney area, which can irritate this sensitive organ. Drinking plenty of water can help reduce the acid, but it's important to see a nephrologist.

This is Salam Aziz from Iraq male with 58 years old.my CT scan report shows my left kidney normal BUT there are two well define non enhancing cysts one lower cortical measure 11 mm @ the other larger exophytic measure 75 x 55 mm ( Bosniak I) . The doctors here told me i have two options either remove it or only remove the tumor and leave the rest.I am with the second option if possible ? I am ready to fly to india. please dont hesitate to ask any question. Best Regards Salam Aziz saal6370@gmail.com +964 770 173 8677
Male | 58
your CT scan report reveals two cysts in the left kidney and one is a larger exophytic cyst classified as Bosniak I it can be explained why less invasive alternatives options are to consider. The second alternative that you described, namely the excision of a tumor (presumably a large cyst) alone while sparing other parts of the kidney. The ultimate decision should be discussed with your urologist or surgeon.

Hi I have a kidney cyst and it's been 8 months since I attended to it is this really not good or what should I do I'm scared
Female | 33
Discovering kidney cysts can be frightening, but stay calm—they're usually harmless and symptom-free. However, if you experience back pain, blood in your urine, or high blood pressure, see a nephrologist promptly. They will likely order tests to assess the situation properly. Delaying care for eight months is inadvisable; prompt evaluation ensures your well-being. Though usually benign, ignoring potential issues can lead to complications. With timely check-ups and appropriate treatment, kidney cysts are manageable.

Kidney and creatine level problem?
Male | 53
Kidneys filter waste from blood. If creatinine levels rise, kidneys struggle. Tiredness, swelling, and nausea occur. Causes include hypertension, diabetes, certain medications. Doctors prescribe medicine, diet changes, sometimes dialysis. Following medical advice preserves kidney function.

Hello sir/mam, i have pain over left side abdomen from last 3 days, severe in morning and subsides as the day passes, fever, no burning sensation. Xray KUB is normal, Usg shows small renal cortical cyst and tiny calcific foci, features suggestive of pyelonephritis. Dr. gave me IV ceftriaxone for 10 days. Pain is still there after 2 days of treatment. What should i do for the cortical cyst ?
Male | 25
You have been experiencing pain in your left abdomen and have undergone treatment for pyelonephritis. An imaging scan showed that a small renal cyst slightly off the cortex in the kidney is the possible cause of some of your symptoms. Briefly, such cysts are usually benign and do not require treatment unless they grow or cause symptoms. In your situation, please continue to receive the necessary treatment for the infection, and they will also check the cyst to be sure it is not causing any inconvenience.

Cardiac or diabetes and issues is proteinurea
Male | 67
If someone is having problems with their heart or diabetes and is also having protein in their urine, this may mean there could be damage to the kidneys. The signs of this illness are the puffiness of the body, the appearance of bubble-like urine, and the presence of hypertension. This can be caused by increased sugar levels or high blood pressure in the blood. Eat healthy, control your blood sugar, and take medication as directed.
