What could cause blood in stool and mouth sores after drug and alcohol abuse?
Hello, I have been experiencing large amounts of blood in faeces when I use the toilet and some pain for the last two weeks. I think it is linked to drug and alcohol use, as I'm only 23 but have been abusing several pills (sometimes 30 a day, ibuprofen/codeine) and drinking a lot for around 3 years now on and off. I have also developed mouth sores on the corner of my lips for no apparent reason and I think this may be related. Do you know what this could be?

Blood and pain when using the toilet indicate problems inside your body. Those mouth sores reveal that something is wrong with your health. These issues likely stem from drug or alcohol abuse. Your liver, stomach, and even immune system could be damaged. Getting help from a gastroenterologist immediately is vital.

can i take rifaximin 400 twice a day and propranolol together is it safe
Male | 22
This medication is prescribed for a specific reason. Rifaximin is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections in the gut, while propranolol is used to treat heart conditions. When they are taken together, they could influence the way your body deals with them. It may be safe, but it's important to have a gastroenterologist monitor you closely so you can avoid any possible problems or interactions.

You have been having a sense of imbalance for the last 4 to 5 days and vomiting at the slightest of food intake. These can be attributed to low blood pressure. When blood pressure reduces it is possible for you to feel dizzy and the sensation of sickness to be experienced. To help, consider drinking more water and eating small meals throughout the day.

It’s normal to get a tummy ache and not feel like eating when you’re on antimalarial medication. These medicines may sometimes bother your stomach. Remember to continue taking them, but try to ease the discomfort by consuming small and soft meals. Drinking fluids such as water or tea frequently could also be helpful. Should the symptoms persist, consult your doctor for further assistance.

I m 40 years old. I m suffering from fissure in anus. It gives me pain
Male | 40
Fissures are little rips in the skin around the anus. Passing hard stools, diarrhea, or inflammatory bowel disease can cause them. To heal the fissure, drink plenty of water, eat foods high in fiber, and use stool softeners. You might need creams or ointments too so that it does not hurt as much and heals faster.

My mother has gastrological problems so recently I showed her to a renowned doctor who prescribed her some medicines. She started to take the medicines from yesterday there was a tablet which was to be taken after dinner she took it yesterday and she felt as if something is happening to her she can't breathe but it became normal after sometime but tonight same thing happened but it lasted so long and her condition was so bad that she couldn't breathe I took her too a nearby hospital where she was given some injections. I just need to ask why did that happened
Female | 43
Your mother might have suffered from an extreme allergic reaction to the pill she took after dinner. An allergy can be followed by a few different symptoms such as, for instance, shortness of breath, swelling, and low blood pressure. Stop the medicine, and inform her doctor at once. They can suggest a drug, which would not lead to such reactions.

I had inguinal hernia January 2021 which was repaired by Bradford royal infirmary and an Umbilical hernia was repaired by a consultant at Yorkshire clinic and I have gained weight due to the back problem with not been able to get around much.
