You might have acid reflux causing heartburn and tingling hands. Acid reflux happens when stomach acid goes up your food pipe. That causes a burning feeling, called heartburn. Tingling hands could mean irritated nerves. To help, eat smaller meals, avoid spicy foods, don't lie down after eating. See a gastroenterologist if it doesn't get better.

Male | 20
Your symptoms like chest discomfort, gas, acid reflux, constipation, and post-meal vomiting indicate stomach issues. Reduce portion sizes. Avoid spicy, greasy food. Stay hydrated. I have an episode of watery diarrhea for 5 days Stool analysis showed only mucus, with no parasites and 0-1 WBC's. I have had my last colonoscopy in September 2023, and it was clear from any lesion, inflammatory bowel disease symptoms or any other clinically significant finding. In 2020 I also had another colonoscopy with some specimens to check for microscopic colitis but the specimens were negative. I need to know what is wrong with me and what is the reason for this diarrhea. Blood test showed no Anemia (apart from my Thalassemia minor) , liver enzymes are normal, lactate dehydrogenase normal, CRP and ESR are normal. I need help . .
Male | 44
A positive result from your last two colonoscopies, showing no inflammation or IBD, is reassuring. Mucus in your stool might be due to irritation. Diarrhea can result from various causes, including infection, certain foods, or stress. Since your test results aren't alarming, try drinking lots of fluids, sticking to a soft diet, and letting your gut rest. If the diarrhea persists, consult your doctor for medical advice.

Im wondering if Ulcerative Colitis can affect a man's sexual ability causing ED. Either that or is it possible for UC to cause low testosterone? Is this possible without me taking any medications?
Male | 28
A situation that inflames the colon, ulcerative colitis, can result in symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fatigue. Even though inflammation and stress brought on by UC do not cause directly erectile dysfunction (ED) or low testosterone; they can have an impact on sexual health. The best way forward is to treat UC effectively while also finding ways of reducing stress.

Male | 45
Your dad's gastric issue is concerning. The meds don't seem effective. Stomach problems bring pain, bloating, and discomfort. Medications may fail if diet or stress cause the issue. Spicy foods, large meals, and stress worsen symptoms. Smaller portions, stress management, and avoiding trigger foods may improve his condition.

Feeling nauseated and being unable to keep the food down is a common thing for many people and can be attributed to different reasons. In your case, the infection in your stomach lining may be the reason for these issues. Sometimes, treating the infection with antibiotics may take a longer time to work. It is very important to stay hydrated and get enough rest. If you are still having problems, it is necessary to follow up with your gastroenterologist.

Hello I am 13, and I have been suffering from acid reflux for about a month. I have talked to 2 doctors. I have been prescribed pepcid about 2 weeks ago. So my 2 week trial is over. But still I suffer from it. All pepcid was able to do is ease the symptoms a bit. How do I ease my anxiety and get rid of this illness forever?

Acid reflux can be caused by stress and anxiety, as well as dietary and lifestyle choices. You can manage stress and anxiety through relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, yoga, or meditation. If your symptoms persist despite medication and lifestyle changes, your doctor can recommend additional testing or referral to a specialist.

These can occur due to various reasons. Sometimes, they result from eating too quickly or consuming food items that do not react well with your stomach. Stress may also be a contributing factor. If it becomes persistent, do not hesitate to consult with a gastroenterologist.
