Spinal fusion is a surgical operation used to stabilize the spine and reduce pain. While it carries certain risks, advancements have improved its safety. Surgery may be recommended if non-surgical treatments fail or if there is a risk of further nerve damage

Now my hands are got bend after plaster opened . And its painful some stretch and pinning like feelings in my left thumb where it get cut . Why such pain is there and may i get my tendon recovery in due course .please tell me doctor .
Male | 37
It's normal to feel some pain and discomfort after your plaster is removed. Your tendon might need more time to heal fully. The stretching and pinching sensations in your thumb are part of the healing process. Be patient, rest your hand, and do the gentle exercises your doctor recommended to help your tendon recover.

am a mma fighter and 3 days ago had a kickboxing session, I was holding a kick shield for my dad who weighs 3x more than me. He kicked the kick shield hard but he accidentally missed the kick shield and instead kicked my shoulder, ever since then I have a lot of pain when moving my arms and and especially lifting it outwards I cannot lift it above my head without serious pain, I also feel weak in the same ark and have pain whenever I lift even a light object, I also feel pain in my bicep. Than you
Male | 18
You likely overused your shoulder muscles. Pain, weakness, and the fact your arm does not move well are the possible indications that your muscle has strained and/or torn. This can occur when the muscles are stretched too much. To start the healing process, keep the shoulder in a resting position, apply a cold pack to the affected area, and stay away from activities that worsen the pain. If the pain persists, go to an orthopedist.

Having leg pain from 30 days
Male | 42
If the pain has been bothering you for a whole month, it is better to get treatment. Besides, leg pain that lasts can be caused by items like strained muscle, abuse, or poor blood circulation. The best solution for leg pain is to rest, apply ice packs, and do light exercises. If the discomfort persists following this treatment, get an opinion from an orthopedist for additional evaluation and medical care.

Male | 17
From what you have described and the X-ray outcomes, it seems like you have possibly damaged your knee. This kind of damage has a direct impact on the knee. Signs include pain, swelling, and bending difficulties. Use of ice, leg elevation, and knee brace. It is essential not to overwork the knee and consult an orthopedist for more information.

Why is it paining near left palmar fascia
Female | 20
If your left palm hurts, it could be due to overuse, like gripping too hard. This can irritate or injure the tissue in your palm. Rest your hand, apply ice, and do gentle stretches. If the pain doesn't go away, it's best to see an orthopedist for further help.

I am trying to find the starting point to getting my knees replaced
Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Types of knee replacement surgery Simultaneous bilateral knee replacement - When both knees are replaced at the same time. The primary advantage of a procedure is that there is only one hospital stay and one rehabilitation period to heal both knees. But rehabilitation may be slower. Also these patients may need assistance at home also. Generalized fitness is important here. Staged bilateral knee replacement- Each knee is replaced at a different time. These surgeries are done a few months apart. This staged approach helps one knee to recover before the second surgery. The main advantage of a this procedure is the reduced risk of complications and also requires a shorter hospital stay. However, since this procedure requires two surgeries, the overall rehabilitation period can be longer. Either surgery may involve any combination of total knee replacement or partial knee replacement. The risks associated with this surgery: infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Hope our answer helps you. Male | 16
The presence of limping and discomfort for such a long period of time is of a great concern and may be caused by a variety of issues including the presence of growth plates that are difficult to deal with, joint disorders, and muscles that are unbalanced. Options may include physical therapy, exercises, or in some cases, surgery might be a requirement. Please consider making an appointment with an orthopedist who will examine musculoskeletal issues.

I would advise consulting with an orthopedic surgeon focusing on hand surgery. Delaying the care seeking should be avoided and even more so when Medicaid can reimburse treatment costs.

Sir two years back. A man hitted on my upper back. From then on my heart functioning disturbed. It started pounding fast, heavy back pain very uncomfortable with my heart. My question is if anyone hits very harshly with hand do it damage heart back side
Male | 23
A forceful blow to your upper back is troubling, but your heart is protected in your chest. While direct harm is unlikely, muscle strain or nerve issues can arise. This might bring rapid heartbeat, severe back pain, and discomfort. Getting checked by an orthopedist is advisable for proper assessment and care.

Bruised elbow swollen bruising all down the arm
Female | 21
You may have hurt your elbow quite seriously. When you slam it hard, you can make your elbow and arm to swell and turn purple. It happens when the tiny blood vessels, beneath our skin, smash. For reducing the swelling and pain, you can apply ice. If no significant improvement is noted, you should get the orthopedist involved and thoroughly examined.
