Why am I having irregular period bleeding?
I am 18 years old girl I have period problem before my period date I have little period blood everyday after some days I have normal period
Gynecologist/Obstetrician
Answered on 3rd June '24
Hormonal changes, stress, or thyroid problems could be causing this. Keep a record of when it happens and how long it lasts each time on your calendar along with what other symptoms you may have had during those days too. To make your periods more regular try eating well, doing exercises regularly such as walking for 30 minutes every day. See a gynecologist if nothing changes after doing this or if anything else worries you.

I had unprotected sex on 10th and 16th of March .Both the times the guy didn't come inside of me but rather I had to give him an oral to finish. I am not sure if or not his semen came in contact with my vagina. I couldn't take i pill both the times and now I am worried about pregnancy as I should be getting my periods today or my tomorrow. Pls give me advice and help me as soon as possible.
Female | 19
Worrying about pregnancy is normal. Pre-ejaculate can sometimes lead to pregnancy, but chances are lower than regular ejaculation. Missing periods, nausea, exhaustion, and sore breasts indicate early pregnancy symptoms. Taking a pregnancy test from drugstores or clinics provides clarity. It's wise to eliminate doubt. If not pregnant, using protection during sex consistently prevents unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.

What can I do for my missed periods

Sir, I am 12 weeks pregnanct my gp suggested me progestrone tablet thrice a day but I missed 2 times.. and now i am spotting red ... what to do
Female | 31
It's crucial you take prescribed meds, mainly during pregnancy. Spotting red blood seems problematic. Missing a progesterone tablet may mess with hormone levels, thus causing the spotting episode. Promptly contact your gynecologist about missed doses and the spotting.

Female | 22
It's natural for women to have a monthly period but sometimes the period may not appear as per the due date. You might have a late period with an increase in white discharge due to stress, changes in routine, or hormonal imbalance, or you may be pregnant. Sometimes a period may be postponed for a week but consult a gynecologist they can provide appropriate advice and treatment if needed.

Stomach pain after taking abortion pills
Female | 18
Stomach aches can happen after taking abortion pills. The medications cause cramping to remove pregnancy tissue. This pain is like period cramps, from mild to severe. Put a heating pad on your lower belly to feel better. Drink warm drinks. Take over-the-counter pain meds like ibuprofen. But if the pain is bad or won't go away, contact your gynecologist.

I have been experiencing implantation bleeding from the vagina from Monday Is there a possibility to be pregnant?
Female | 25
Implantation bleeding occurs when a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining. It signifies potential pregnancy. However, hormonal fluctuations or infections can also cause it. Symptoms include light spotting and mild cramping. If pregnancy is suspected, taking a home test is advisable. But if bleeding persists or concerns arise, consulting a gynecologist ensures personalized guidance.

How long do ovaries work after hysterectomy?
Female | 35
If the uterus is removed, as in a hysterectomy with preservation of ovaries, they usually work normally until natural menopause. But this may differ from person to person and the surgical approach. You should talk to your gynecologist and with the surgeon that did your surgery for details about you case. They will inform patients about post-surgery ovarian function recovery.

I started birth control 10 weeks ago, i had unprotected sex 9 weeks ago and i took plan b after, and i had my period for 12 days, can i still be pregnant?
Female | 15
Taking Plan B after unprotected sex can reduce the risk of pregnancy, but it is not guaranteed to prevent pregnancy entirely. If you had a period for 12 days after taking Plan B, it is less likely that you are pregnant.

The pain and over-fatigue in your body can also be responsible for this effect. Also, keep wearing lightweight and breathable clothes and avoid anything with a high sugar content to help your body fight the infection.

I am having vaginally burning sensation
Female | 25
This sort of heat is experienced in different cases. For example, yeast infections, soaps, or laundry detergents can all cause it. It might also mean someone has an STI if they feel this kind of pain. For relief from the burn you might want to consider wearing loose-fitting cotton underwear that doesn't trap moisture and enables the skin to breathe, avoiding using scented products like pads or tampons which could further irritate already sensitive tissues during your period, also try washing with just water around the vulva than any soap. If you are still feeling the same, visit a gynecologist.

Missing periods may be caused by one of the many reasons. Stress, dressings in weight, hormonal imbalances, or even excessive exercise can be the causes of it. If your periods don't reappear soon, seeing a gynecologist for more advice is a good idea.

I had regular periods on every month. But I had sex on August month, then periods came 3 days later on September. Then,I didn't do any sexual activity after sep to now.But this Oct month I periods is yet come, already its 4days late.Is this is a possibility of pregnancy?Sperm which was get inside on August can fertilize now?
Female | 24
It’s common to hear that periods can sometimes be irregular, especially after having sex, which can affect your cycle. However, pregnancy is unlikely in this case, as sperm has a limited time in which it can fertilize an egg. Stress, diet, and hormonal changes are usually the reasons for a late period. But don’t worry too much—if you have any concerns, you can take a home pregnancy test or consult a gynecologist for advice.

I am 28 years .I want to concive for 2nd time . I am trying for 2 months .
Female | 28
Trying for a sibling and not getting pregnant immediately is completely normal. Two months isn't a long time, so there is no need to worry too much yet. To increase your chances, you should track your ovulation period, have sex during that time, stay healthy, and avoid stress. Additionally, the partner should be healthy as well.
