Can I Get TMS Tomorrow for Depression Treatment?
I am 46 and have depression. I need sessions of deep transmagnetic stimulation. How much cost? Can I come tomorrow?

Psychiatrist
Answered on 2nd Dec '24
Deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a treatment for depression that is safe. Costs may differ from one clinic to another, but luckily, some insurance that partner with the clinics offers the treatment. It's smart to check it with the clinic. These may be found in depression itself, such as low moods, loss of interest, and unusual changes in appetite and sleep. TMS is a way of stimulating the brain by sending magnetic pulses. Naturally, it is required to fix a meeting for TMS during which you are free so that we can talk during that time, but we can shift your appointment for you as soon as it is convenient.

Breakup is bringing you grief and loneliness. It's what happens to most people, and it is quite common. It might trigger your mind, making you think everything is going wrong. You may feel disinterested in conversations with girls or in some activities you used to like. This is what is called depression. Speaking with a psychiatrist about your feelings is important. They can assist you in lifting your spirit and staying by your side.

Can I take my xanax and drink orange juice?
Female | 71
To get the Xanax to work effectively, don't take it with orange juice. Xanax is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. Mixing it with orange juice makes your body absorb Xanax less well because the juice's acidity interferes with this process.

I have problems with getting to sleep. But I do shisha and after I do shisha it helps me to sleep, but it's not good for my help what can I do to do away with intial insomnia
Male | 27
Utilizing shisha for sleep isn't recommended at all. In addition, the difficulty of getting sleep is called initial insomnia, and two possible reasons for that may be stress, bad sleep habits, or the use of drugs like shisha. A potentially successful method to deal with the troublesome situation is to establish a bedtime habit that makes you relaxed and quit stimulants, and some consultation with a doctor might be helpful on time.

Medication: Velaxin twice a day, half a tablet of Abizol, zolomax 2/1 tablet, 1 tablet after 3 days. I take these medications. I'm afraid to use it. I went to a heart doctor and he examined me and said my heart was healthy. What I want to ask you is, do these drugs harm people?

It’s totally okay to feel worried about the medications you’ve been given. Velaxin is for anxiety and panic attacks, Abizol and Zolomax are for anxiety and OCD. These drugs are generally safe when used correctly but can cause dizziness or drowsiness as common side effects. You must follow your doctor’s orders and tell them if anything strange is happening to you.
