Answered on 23rd Sept '24
If you're noticing symptoms of Parkinson's disease, it might indicate you're experiencing it. The disease can cause slow movement in the hands and other body parts due to malfunctioning brain cells that control movement. Medications and physical therapies like exercises can help manage these symptoms. It's important to consult a neurologist for the best advice.

Neurological issues on going 18 mths, no doc is helping me now worse pain all over my left side body and chronic headaches and head pressure also experiencing electric shock sensations from head to abdomen and horrible spasams in chest and pain in left breast and sholder and neck
Female | 40
Pain on your left side and chronic headaches, the two motions you report might stem from several causes for instance nerve trouble or muscle health issues. The electric shock, which you describe as the jerk and jolt you feel, may well be associated with the nerve sensations. It mimics or is seen as the breathing pattern of a muscle when someone overuses or tightens the muscle during a workout, causing intercostal muscle pain. You should be upfront with your health issues and choose a neurologist to get an appropriate diagnosis followed by a treatment plan that is suitable for you.

Hi sir/madam, I'm Suffering from right eye swelling, redness from past 25 days... recently I have visited a hospital and got my cerebral Angiogram test done...it was found that there is Dural arterveinous fistulae along bilateral cavernous sinuses nd clivus draining into bilateral petrosal sinuses and right superior opthalmic vein...which is causing swelling of eye, redness, watery eyes...They have suggested an exercise near neck(compression) for this problem. my question is does this problem go away with this exercise? How common is this problem?Any medical emergency required? What is the cost for stereographic radiation therapy? Thank you.
Male | 52
The answer to your question depends on the cause of the dural arteriovenous fistulae. If it is caused by a congenital abnormality, exercise may help reduce the symptoms, but it is unlikely to completely resolve the condition. If the cause is a tumor or an aneurysm, then exercise may help reduce the symptoms, but a more comprehensive treatment plan may be required. The cost of stereotactic radiation therapy varies depending on the institution providing the therapy. It is best to seek advice from a specialist to determine the best course of treatment.

Patient faints frequently due to low blood pressure. Tests have been done to see the cause but they come back negative. What could be the other cause and remedy
Male | 19
Frequent fainting due to low blood pressure can be concerning, especially when tests are inconclusive. Possible causes may include dehydration, medication side effects, or certain medical conditions affecting blood flow. Symptoms can include dizziness, lightheadedness, or fatigue. To address this issue, ensure proper hydration, consider dietary changes for more salt intake (under a doctor's guidance), and monitor fluid consumption. Regularly standing up slowly may help. It’s essential to consult a neurologist for personalized advice and to explore further testing or treatment options tailored to your needs.

Frequent discomfort, mood changes, constant hunger, recurring thoughts, nausea, and back discomfort can sometimes result from stress, poor diet, or insufficient rest. It’s essential to focus on a balanced diet, stay hydrated, engage in regular physical activity, and practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or mindfulness. Male | 20
You might have something we call a vasovagal syncope. Some of your blood flow may change for a short time when you sneeze this is what causes the feeling of faintness and may interfere with your ability to move your hands and legs for a while. Try sitting down or lying if you feel like sneezing. Also, make sure to drink enough water and have sufficient rest always. If it happens frequently or becomes more severe, see a doctor.

Male | 31
Nimesulide, at a dosage of 100mg, can be effective in alleviating headaches, generally caused by tension, sinus issues, or migraines. It works by reducing inflammation and relieving pain. However, it's important to consider the underlying reason for your discomfort. If headaches persist or worsen, seeking advice from a neurologist is wise. They can offer a comprehensive evaluation and alternative treatments if needed. Staying hydrated, managing stress, and ensuring adequate rest can also greatly help.

You may be dealing with stress and thoracic outlet syndrome. This happens when nerves or blood vessels near your neck and shoulder get pinched, causing pain and foggy thinking. Stress and repetitive movements worsen it. Take breaks and do gentle stretches. Try relaxing activities too.

Sir, I have headache like tight band with nausea, stress, tension. Sir,Please give me some medicines for relief.
Male | 17
I see that you have a tight band headache around your head and feel like vomiting because of anxiety and stress as well. These signs might mean that you have a tension-type headache; typically caused by bad posture at work or eyestrain from looking at computer screens all day long. You could take some painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen to help relieve the pain in your head. Moreover try and calm down by breathing deeply plus drink lots of water. If this feeling doesn’t go away please go see a doctor so they can check it out.

Have a pulsating headache on both sides of my head since a month
Female | 18
Steady throbbing in your head for a month straight is a real downer. That might mean tension headaches. Stress, no sleep, eyes straining too much - those things can cause them. Take breaks from computer screens. Relax your body and mind. Sleep enough hours each night. Pain relievers you can buy without a prescription might help. Drink lots of water, too. But if the headaches won't go away, you should visit a neurologist to get checked out properly.

Ive been facing tingling in hands and feet also having digestive issues since 1 week, had mild headache also. And now when I fall asleep, my whole body keeps shaking, gets normal, when I move little. Yesterday got my blood reports. I have 197 VIT B12 on ref level of 211-950(acc to lab). Therfore a deficiency. Also vast deficiency in VIT D. Is it all happening because of these deficiencies? Or any other reason?
Female | 19
Your symptoms suggest vitamin deficiencies. Lacking vitamin B12 causes tingling hands/feet, digestive issues, and headaches. Deficient vitamin D prompts shaky sleep sensations. These deficiencies likely cause your symptoms. To fix this, eat vitamin B12 and D-rich foods. Your doctor may also suggest supplements to restore levels.

My 8years daughter suffering from Autism and she is still getting this anxiety issue
Female | 8
I know that Autistic children are much more likely to have anxiety. This condition can cause her to feel worried, nervous, or scared most of the time. Sometimes she may seem restless or have trouble sleeping other times she may avoid things altogether. To help her out you could consider teaching her some deep breathing techniques or even show her how to do relaxation exercises. It is also important for them to talk with a therapist from time to time. Don't forget to give her lots of support and try as much as possible to understand what might be bothering her at any given moment.
