Hi I have amaebiosis history which was cured by ayurveda bt i wasn't able to follow all the rules so it was never fully cured though. I still have issues n it's for last 8 years. I hv constant gases whole day and pain in my left side in stomach. M scared to visit doctors i hope i don't hv to do surgery or any painful process. What should I do.
Female | 26
You seem to have persistent tummy troubles. Frequent gas and aches on your left side could point to digestive problems. Your past amebiasis might be contributing too. Understandably, you want to avoid surgery. To feel better, try eating smaller portions, steering clear of spicy cuisine, and drinking plenty of fluids. But it's also wise to speak with a gastroenterologist about other potential remedies.

Is the itching in anal part is the symptoms of piles
Female | 15
Anal itching may indicate piles. Piles are swollen veins in the rectum. Pain, blood, and anal lumps suggest piles too. Causes involve straining during bowel movements. Constipation or prolonged sitting contributes. Fiber-rich diet, water intake, avoiding straining help. But if symptoms persist, see a gastroenterologist.

Initially I was facing gas issues with my stomach for quite a few years now especially during the evening time. From almost last 2 years, started to have issues with my chest bloating after eating or drinking and just below the chest in the middle lots of irritation after eating as it feels heavy. Especially at night after dinner even after an hour or more i cannot lie down as the food seems to come up my throat and i start to feel the pain near my esophagus, what should I do? I also have had medicines i.e. Nexium and Lesuride but it only gives relief for some time and then same issue. Please suggest.
Female | 37
You may be experiencing symptoms related to acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). These conditions can cause discomfort like chest bloating, irritation in the chest area after eating, and difficulty lying down due to regurgitation of food. It's important to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate management. They can recommend lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, and possibly other medications or treatments tailored to your specific condition. Regular follow-ups with your specialist will help in managing and improving your symptoms effectively.

Am Sam I have malaria and on malaria drug but now feeling stomach upset when trying to eat and seriously loose appetite
Male | 28
It’s normal to get a tummy ache and not feel like eating when you’re on antimalarial medication. These medicines may sometimes bother your stomach. Remember to continue taking them, but try to ease the discomfort by consuming small and soft meals. Drinking fluids such as water or tea frequently could also be helpful. Should the symptoms persist, consult your doctor for further assistance.

I am 34. I am male. Blood is coming out of the toilet door because my bowels are hard. It has been going on for two or three days. No pain.
Male | 35
It appears as though you are encountering bowel difficulties. When the poop contains blood, even if there is no pain, it is abnormal. This may occur when the bowels are firm due to insufficient water consumption or fiber intake. You can attempt to soften your stool by drinking a lot of water and consuming more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If the problem persists, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist for a check-up.

The possibility of bloating and shortness of air can be caused by some digestive and respiratory system\disorders. These symptoms, including the temporary lack of consciousness, may pose a risk for a more severe problem. Urging immediate help from a doctor should be the first step to diagnosing the problem precisely and getting the right treatment.

i am a 19 year old female currently about to be 36 weeks pregnant and for the past week ive had horrible diarrhea i did have fevers but they stopped two days ago now only the diarrhea remains and its only gotten worse it seems. ive been to urget care and my obgyn but they haven’t given me the answers im looking for, waiting on some test to come back. my question is my diarrhea has been bright yellow and its been every other hour. since my fever went down ive started getting pain in my stomach everytime i get up and move mainly due to needing to go to the bathroom ( baby is completely fine says the doctors and i do feel her moving the same as before) when i go to use the bathroom its like i cannot get it out only little bits of the diarrhea and now today it is black. so far its like every ten or so minutes my stomach starts hurting and i need to go back but its so swollen and has started to bleed a little bit from so much diarrhea that it really hurts but yet barley any comes out should i try a stool softener?
Female | 19
Bright yellow diarrhea may indicate bile in your stool, while black diarrhea can suggest stomach bleeding. These symptoms could be due to infections or other medical issues that need attention. In my opinion, using a stool softener may not be ideal at this time. It's important to continue following your doctor's advice closely.

Your liver stiffness is 22.6, and your UAP is 341. These numbers suggest a liver issue. Symptoms might include tiredness, yellowing of the skin, and stomach pain. How to get rid of stomach cramps
Female | 18
Stomach ache is the sudden pain in the belly that you feel. It may be caused by eating quickly, eating spicy food, or feeling stressed. You should try to relax and take slow breaths when these cramps occur. Drinking warm water and putting a hot water bottle on your tummy can help as well. Eating small amounts of bland food while avoiding caffeine might also relieve the cramps.

Why do I feel food is stuck in my throat and feel pain when we swallow food during 30weeks pregnant
Female | 21
When you are pregnant, the feeling of food is caught in the throat and a sense of pain when swallowing it is most likely caused by acid reflux. It occurs when the stomach acid erupts back to the esophagus which could make you feel like food is stuck and also can cause pain. It leads to a sensation of being unable to swallow and a painful state. One method to relieve it is by eating less and avoiding spicy foods as well as standing or sitting for some time after a meal. If the symptoms persist, seek advice from a gastroenterologist.

I am 19 years old … I see blood in my stool … started 2020 I took enterogermina 2020,then December 2021 took tinizol and doxycycline 2021 and I was given Clarthrime and Bonso pile tablet January 2024 but a doctor changed it and told me to take ciprotab instead but today I happened to see blood again I am constipated , I take milk a lot , and I always have bad cramps so I take ibuprofen every month but not more than 2 a month
Female | 19
I recommend seeking medical attention from a gastroenterologist to properly evaluate the cause of the bleeding and develop a treatment plan. Not recommended to self-treat without consulting a doctor, as this can lead to antibiotic resistance and may not address the issue. Additionally taking ibuprofen frequently for menstrual cramps can also lead to gastrointestinal problems.
