I am 34 years old male, I am not happy with my bowel movement lately. It can go for 2-3 days or just a small poop comes out. I took laxatives last night (7hrs ago) and still nothing. What could be the problem?

The absence of stool for several days or the production of only a little stool can be a sign of constipation. Constipation has many reasons like not eating enough fiber, not drinking enough water, and not exercising. Laxatives may work for you, but if your problem continues, try drinking more water, eating fiber-rich foods like fruits and vegetables, and exercising more. If the problem persists, it's better to consult a gastroenterologist for more help.
