It can mean that your intestines are not moving fast enough when you have trouble passing feces and only pass gas at times. Lack of fiber in the diet, not drinking enough fluids, or physical inactivity can cause this. Eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains; drink plenty of water and be active to get things ‘going’ again. If it persists, see a gastroenterologist for further assessment and advice.

Male | 37
Walaikum Assalam, Aapke abdominal pain ke liye kai wajahen ho sakti hain. Agar ultrasound se appendix concern aya hai, lekin gastroenterologist ne usay reject kiya, toh shayad aapki intestine ya digestive issues hain. Suji ya inflammation bhi discomfort ka sabab ban sakta hai. Aapko acche results ke liye fiber-rich diet khana chahiye aur hydration par dhyan dena chahiye. Endoscopy jaruri nahi hai, lekin agar pain barh raha hai ya symptoms nahi ja rahe hain, toh aapko apne doctor se phir se consult karna chahiye.

I suddenly have a sharp pain in my upper right abdomen
Male | 35
Experiencing a sudden, sharp sensation in your upper right abdomen can be unsettling. This could result from various factors, such as digestive issues, muscle strain, or, in some cases, gallbladder problems. While it may resolve on its own, it's important to monitor other potential symptoms like nausea or fever. To ensure your well-being, consider resting, applying a warm compress, and avoiding heavy meals. However, if the discomfort persists or worsens, it’s vital to reach out to a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide tailored advice and necessary care for your condition. Remember, your health is a priority!

I am a 21 year old male around 5'4 with around 60kgs weight. I feel as if this weight is too little and I want to add more. I try on numerous occasions to eat more and diet better albeit I do a bit of drinking over the weekends. Though I have tried adding weight, only my stomach seems to get larger whilst my other body parts are not commensurate to this gain. Yesterday I went out and took a drink that has 40% alcohol. Since then my stomach hasn't stopped growling no matter how much I eat, and I have watery diarrhea. What is the problem?
Male | 21
It sounds like your recent experiences with alcohol have led to digestive issues, such as a growling stomach and diarrhea. Alcohol can irritate your digestive system and disrupt your body's ability to absorb nutrients, which may explain your difficulty gaining weight. To support your health, consider reducing alcohol intake and focusing on balanced meals that include protein, healthy fats, and whole grains. Staying hydrated is also essential. If symptoms persist or worsen, please seek guidance from a gastroenterologist to ensure there are no underlying concerns. Your well-being is paramount, and a doctor can provide tailored advice and support.

I’m 21 y.o male I have something like bit big bump under my stomach when it’s under touch or pressure hurts badly
Male | 21
You may have a hernia. If it’s painful, avoid heavy lifting and see a gastroenterologist. When you strain or lift something heavy, a part of your insides is pushed out through a weak spot in your muscles. This could be the cause of the lump under the skin in your lower abdomen. Surgery might be necessary if the pain is severe.

Tounces problem, loose motion
Male | 4 years
Loose stools can stem from various factors, including dietary changes, infections, or stress. Common symptoms include frequent trips to the bathroom, cramping, and urgency. Staying hydrated is crucial; try to drink plenty of fluids, such as water or oral rehydration solutions. Consuming bland foods like rice, bananas, and applesauce can also help your digestive system recover. If symptoms persist for more than a couple of days or if you experience severe pain or fever, it's essential to seek medical advice from gastroenterologist.

reason for red colored blood with poop in 9 years old?
Female | 9
The presence of red blood in stools of a child can often indicate issues like hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or even gastrointestinal irritation. Each situation may also involve symptoms such as discomfort or changes in bowel habits. It’s important to monitor any additional signs like pain or changes in appetite. Encouraging a diet rich in fiber and ensuring adequate hydration can help promote healthy digestion. However, I recommend discussing these symptoms with a gastroenterologist. They can provide a thorough evaluation and appropriate care tailored to your child's needs, ensuring peace of mind for you and your family.

I am Trisha from tamil Nadu past few days I have burning sensation in my stomach i consulted near by doctor they told to do not intake tea or coffee I have a doubt ginger tea is for digestion process is that compulsory do not take tea
Female | 20
It's important to understand that a burning sensation in your stomach can stem from various causes, such as acidity or gastric issues. While ginger tea is often recommended for digestion, it's still wise to follow your doctor's advice regarding caffeine intake, as both tea and coffee can sometimes irritate the stomach further. Instead, consider herbal teas like chamomile or peppermint, which may be gentler on your digestive system. If symptoms persist or worsen, please reach out to your gastroenterologist for personalized guidance.

Gulping down Clingen Forte's tablet inadvertently is a source of alarm. It is composed of Clotrimazole that can cause dizziness, discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhea. Please, tell your family doctor or the nearest hospital emergency room if you feel any of these signs. Another alternative for you is to have a colonoscopy, which is a diagnostic procedure done by a gastroenterologist.

I'm 19 years old and experiencing pain while swallowing
Male | 19
Many factors can lead to discomfort while swallowing, such as throat infections, allergic reactions, or irritation from spicy foods. Some of the most common symptoms could be a feeling of soreness, a scratchy feeling, or difficulty in swallowing. Hydration and consumption of smooth, soft foods can also help to reduce the irritation. If the pain does not subside and particularly if events like fever, severe pain, or shortness of breath follow, then it’s important to immediately consult a gastroenterologist. The healthcare worker will find out the root cause and offer you the best suitable treatment.

I've been having constipation problems for about a year or a little more now. I don't have any serious signs of IBD nor chron's disease. I constantly have to wait about 2 days to empty my bowel. I don't quite understand what causes this problem, but I also have a habit of sucking my stomach in a lot, so maybe could that be it?
Female | 18
When you pull your tummy in a lot, it can be tough for your guts to work well. This might result in constipation. Relax your belly muscles and try to drink more water, and eat lots of high-fiber foods such as fruits and vegetables. Also, doing regular physical activity can help.

I had to reduce bilurubin levels from 1.4 to 0.5 how to reduce
Male | 23
It is first critical to establish the underlying cause of excessive bilirubin in the body to lower bilirubin levels. In certain instances, water intake increase or alcohol and fatty food avoidance would be a good choice. Yet, in a lot of instances, medicated intervention becomes inevitable. I would suggest seeing a gastroenterologist for a comprehensive diagnosis and personalized treatment options.
