I did at home IUI on Friday and didn’t realise there was air in the syringe and blew some in my vagina and now I’m worried about an air embolism
Female | 25
Air embolism is the condition when air bubbles get into your blood vessels and can be quite dangerous. But, don't worry too much. In your case, that is highly unlikely. Symptoms would include chest pain, trouble breathing, and dizziness. You look okay for now, but if any symptoms appear, do not wait to get help.

You may have an infection in your vaginal area. The white, thick fluid and itchy feeling might indicate a yeast infection. Bleeding before your monthly period could be linked too. Pain in your belly after eating has various reasons like trouble digesting food properly. Visiting a gynecologist is crucial to get the correct treatment.

why does grey discharge anytime to a girl. is there any problem?
Female | 21
A grey discharge may signify an infection. This discharge often has a fishy odor. Bacterial vaginosis, a bacterial infection, is a common culprit. so let me give you some context first, she has PCOD. and get's irregular periods, but since 1-2 months she was having normal periods due to some medecines, which her doctor prescribed. But at that time, even before we "did that", her periods were late for 5-6 days already. What happened is I went to my gf's place on 7th June. and we thought of just doing kisses and cuddles. But later on we crossed our limits and i got more aggressive towards her, which she liked. So she was giving me a handjob, and told me that there's some precum on her hand. But it dried really fast due to the fan and cooler. And later on I was rubbing my dick on her vagina without any clothes, and spreaded her outer area and she was getting hurt by it. I didn't went deep inside. and stopped there and after a bit she wore clothes and went to the washroom to clean herself down there and peed too. I didn't ejaculate inside her, and I'm not sure but i guess there wasn't precum either inside her. But not sure. And it's been many days since then, and she still hasn't gotten her periods yet. Her doctor doesn't know about the thing we did, and he just said that it's normal, and she'll get periods after her medecine. Today is her last dose of medicine left. We are worried that she might get pregnant? Ofcourse we don't want that to happen. Can you please help us out and tell us something? We're still not so old and responsible in both mentally and financial ways to take care of a baby
Female | 20
If you’re worried about a possible pregnancy, don’t be. The chances of it happening from what you’ve said are very slim. If there was no ejaculation or confirmed pre-cum inside her, then there is almost no risk at all. Stress can also delay periods. Tell her to relax as much as possible. If her period still doesn’t come, take a home pregnancy test to be sure.

After one day of period spotting i started ro bleed normal ...why did it happen
Female | 20
A lot of times when you have your period and notice blood it could be because changes are going on with hormones. The cycle for menstruation comes with hormone levels which might cause variations in the volume of blood one sees. Stress is one thing that can affect this in addition to medications as well as weight change among others. Therefore if it repeats itself or if there is anything else worrying you should talk to the gynecologist to be advised further.

Does consuming a 5% alcohol beer during pregnancy increase the risk of miscarriages?
Female | 25
It's generally recommended to avoid alcohol or to consume it in moderation for those who are trying to conceive or are already pregnant.
Even if its 5% alcohol beer in moderation and may not have a significant impact on fertility or pregnancy outcomes, it's important to know that every person and pregnancy is unique.

Does metformin will cause weight loss in pcos patients? I had lost 5 kg after taking metformin for six months?? Is anything worry about this??
Female | 34
Yes, weight loss in PCOS patients can also be attributed to metformin. This is because metformin works on regulating insulin levels and that is why weight management is easier. It is important to check with a gynecologist or an endocrinologist to make sure that the loss of weight is not caused by other underlying factors.

The problem of not having regular periods is quite irritating. Before you even realize it, a period that arrives sooner than usual, later than anticipated, or never at all can be one of the symptoms. Stress, weight changes, hormonal imbalances, or even medical conditions can be the causes. To ensure a healthy way of living, keep stress under control, and eat good food. Go to a gynecologist for treatment.

Why is my period late 2 3 months?
Female | 18
It's normal for periods to be late sometimes. Stress, weight changes, diet, and exercise can all affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal imbalances like PCOS or thyroid issues can also cause delays. If you experience pain, bleeding issues, or acne, see a doctor. Eating well, reducing stress, and exercising regularly may help regulate your cycle. Periods don’t always follow a strict schedule, as many factors influence their timing. Be aware of what's normal for you, but seek medical attention from a gynecologist if you notice concerning symptoms.

if i got a tetanus vaccine two months back and i got a metal cut now from shaving razors should i get a vaccine, to be more precise, I got the cut on my right hand's thumb
Male | 14
You should be okay if your tetanus shot was recent. The tetanus bacteria enters through cuts like shaving nicks. Be alert for muscle stiffness or trouble swallowing. Those could signal tetanus, so see a doctor immediately. But if you don't have issues, keep the wound clean and watch for infection signs. There's no need to panic with a current tetanus vaccination.

These symptoms may also come from diseases like a stomach bug or food poisoning. If you're stressed out about pregnancy, you could take a test to make sure. Remember, it's always good to talk to a gynecologist, if you're not feeling well.

A person might feel nervous when missing their period. Your dates indicate pregnancy could've occurred. Signs often include a missed period, feeling sick, tired, changes in breasts, and need to use the bathroom more. A pregnancy test is useful if those signs are present.
